Yea, even on some trackdays you have the option of getting setup help. There's heaps of adjustability in any modern sportsbike, hearing bikes being "too soft" and getting bad marks for it is just daft.
I think it’s fair because the bikes are compared on the street and on track giving perspective owners who are looking for a street or track bike the heads up on which bike is set up best for that application. Sure you can make adjustments on the bikes but how far does that actually go towards the experience you want? @@fivespeed3026 It’s not all about speed. My Street Triple R isn’t as fast as my R6 but it’s more fun. Seems a bit silly to exclude the BMW S1000RR from the test in favour of the M since this would be the most affordable version or you should have included both bikes. Surely the electronic suspension in the S which the M does not have would be a significant difference that would warrant comparison. We all know the M is just a base bike for teams to modify or for people with more money than sense.
Actually honest feedback about what i have said from day 1, The RRR has the worst brakes out there with the ABS in the loop... Hello bypass and consistent brakes finally!
How easy or difficult is it to bypass the abs on these modern bikes? Also, if you're riding fast on road would you likely run into abs issues or is it only if you're near the absolute limit on track? Fireblade was first last year but this year it’s 6th on the road and third on track.
£33k special edition Ducati rather than the standard V4 or even the S
Same story with the BMW.
Come on lads 🤦🏼♂️😂
With the zx10rr u mentioned that it is hard to tip in or turn. I totally disagree. My 2021 zx10 handling is bloody mint mate. What tyres r u guys using and have u set up the suspension at all or maybe the way u ride?? I’m just curious
Someone is getting paid
I love my BMW M1000rr & Ducati Superlegerra
Why did you guys not used the zx10RR
Brilliant reviews! Very different POV from other reviewers. Nice to have this. Thx!..😎
You guys lost the piece of paper the lap times were scribbled on?
I know you guys yap on about feel, confidence, excitement… but could some stone hard facts actually back up your rankings?
You have access to data loggers.
Get some acceleration figures. Braking figures. Lap times… is that so hard?
Curiously the ducati often “feels” the fastest but in the end loses out to a 15 year old K5 Gsxr on track.
Christ, you have access to a track and these fantastic machines. Can you NOT make it look like amateur hour?
Plus the fastest bike somehow came in second. WTF?
@@fivespeed3026 It’s not all about speed. My Street Triple R isn’t as fast as my R6 but it’s more fun. This is a test of sports bikes on the track, not race bikes - even if the BMW was the fastest, I wouldn’t buy it because I’d want the engine noise of the R1 or RSV4 etc.
All that said I do agree with the original post, some facts would be useful however they seem to conduct their tests at track days (which is fine, that’s what the majority of owners will use them for, not racing) and UK track days ban lap timing, so they couldn’t tell us without getting in trouble.
If you do a wheelie for long enough it will trip a code on the bike and it will turn off the traction control and the abs on the fire blade and Yamaha

world's SUZUKI champion GSXR1000R 😁🏍
So why didn't you choose the zx10rr ?
Great video but im comfused why RSV4 brake is the 4th but all the same caliper?
The two bikes that came in last won the WorldSBK championship.. hmmm
The WSBK Kawasaki is *entirely* different than the floor model. They are less expensive than most for a reason. But infinitely upgradeable.
😂 you think there is anything standard about a WSB factory bike?! Kawasaki and Yamaha have done well because they have the two best riders and Kawasaki have no MotoGP program so all their racing efforts and budget has gone into WSB for years.
@@Mockle07 I feel you. My opinion is from motocross and now riding a homologated Ducati where almost everything has been swapped. I’ve owned plenty of fast bikes/cars and there is a huge price and parts disparity between a stock Kawasakai RR & a stork Panigale V4R.(or SP). Mazda Miatas are great auto crossing/track day cars and there is a litany of parts for it. But a Porsche is going to run out the gate because the parts are already there. I just want Kawasaki to step up their game on the show room floor. I’ve always been enamored with the Ninja since being a kid. 💯 it is the rider. EDIT: terrible grammar. EDIT again: autocorrect sucks. But you get the idea 🥸
@@brandonamison8950 haha absolutely agree mate. You can’t compare a world level factory race bike to what we can go and buy in the shops, it’s not even close. Even the “race specials” that they sell have totally different suspension, engine software, many different engine internals, wheels, brakes etc etc. Even the parts that have to be ‘standard’ are still made specifically… it’s not like Kawasaki are nipping to the production line and just whipping a frame off that to throw into Johnny’s race bike 😂
@@Mockle07 I know that obviously I'm just saying it's funny . The r1 is the best track bike to race with from what I see not just because of world sbk. A lot of winners in different organizations are all on r1s not stock but the r1 chassis and engine. I'm a Honda fan but I think Honda and Yamaha are the best most reliable bikes
Blade beauty 🥰👌
what no one has noticed here 22:22 is that how quietly that have placed the European Bikes at top 3 while discarding all the Brilliant Japanese at the back seat....
Unliked this video, alas, RUclips shut them down too.... 🤟
Good save those who buys bikes on these guys recommendation.
Now which company gonna pay best ..?
Seems a bit silly to exclude the BMW S1000RR from the test in favour of the M since this would be the most affordable version or you should have included both bikes. Surely the electronic suspension in the S which the M does not have would be a significant difference that would warrant comparison. We all know the M is just a base bike for teams to modify or for people with more money than sense.
I like the attempt but you didn't pick equivalent trim levels across the board.
Can you repeat this test with them in Superstock trim? I daresay the results would be flipped.
I guess that you want to mention at 22:30 honda insteas of bmw😊.
ill take the green one , great video
How much difference in power from last year to this year on the dyno for Ducati? You said new model down “quite a bit “.
Interesting video but ultimately very little of what they say makes much difference. Buy whatever bike you like and make it your own.
Ducati V4S instead of an SP would have been a more even comparison?
Actually honest feedback about what i have said from day 1, The RRR has the worst brakes out there with the ABS in the loop... Hello bypass and consistent brakes finally!
How easy or difficult is it to bypass the abs on these modern bikes? Also, if you're riding fast on road would you likely run into abs issues or is it only if you're near the absolute limit on track? I test rode a blade and am considering getting it but concerned that everyone rips into the brakes... cheers 👍
@@Teebat316 Very easy... brass line caps, and standard style lines and your good. maybe will post up a little video. as bypassed on the sc82 and mine sc77.
Gsxr 1000k6 beat ducati v4s around a track. Its on youtube. 2 US boys were the riders i think
yeah yeah, and there are youtube vids of people destroying H2's with a 400cc. The rider plays a huge part, and so does the agenda of the content creator. That old Gsxr k6 would be the bike used in 2021 WSBK if it really could own the modern bikes regardless of who was on it. Just my opinion, you're free to have yours. Cheers.
Thanks Guys✌️
Isn't it cheating when ducati engine has much more capacity than the litre class bikes.? 100 cc more than other bikes.
And nobody seems to have a problem with it?
What does it matter? If they could put in a 1400cc engine and still kill it when it comes to cornering, agility and braking, I'd take it.
Why put the suspensions into a fixed mode!?
Ducati panigale V4 Sp 💪👌👍👊
A lot of data to take on but awesome review by the experts 👍
no wonder ducati and aprilia have extra 100cc than other.they should make 1 liter bike for better battle.
Nah, Even if they would put 1400cc in a bike and still be better at cornering, agility and braking, I'd certainly take that instead.
#TeamSuzuki
It’s Mega inn’int?
Well done!!
R1 🔥🔥
On reviews like this do the bikes get set up suspension and ergonomic wise to the riders or straight out of the show room floor they go? and tires??
21 Rsv4 is no joke
The previous year the fireblade won and there wasmt much complaint about the brakes yet in this test they are the worst? Please explain?? I'm in the market for a new bike and test rode the V4S, S1000rr and Blade. The blade stood out but I'm concerned about braking issues. So are the Blades brakes crap near the limited or worthy of top spot as per last year's results??
This review is bullshit. They're lying through their teeth. I'm looking for another review as well
Is the kaw that bad or rea that good
Nice video. Thank you. 👍👍👍👍
Still choosing the BMW
It’s a track test and the fastest bike lost. Help me here lol
Finally !!! Yeah ! I love my Ducati V4SP
Trying to understand why all these top shelf bikes in the comparison, except you tested a regular zx10r and not the up tech zx10rr. I think your video's are very good, I enjoy them, but running the zx10r, versus the upscale top spec bikes ( besides the Suzuki )..... I think decision is a shortfall of the videos'...... and for the cash, the Suzuki still holds the TOP bike for the cash.
How come.ths eurobike Cant match and win over Kawa and R1 in SBK 😅peace
So starts off by saying how they are going to dial in the bikes for track. Specifically mentioning that they will probably turn the anti wheelie off, then complains about the R1 having abrupt anti wheelie.....when it can clearly be turned off in the settings 🤔
The only bike they attempt to adjust in any way seems to be the BMW
I’ll take the fact that Yamaha clean sweeped every dang major motor sports this year..World Superbike, British Superbikes, MotoGP, and the MX racing even…..
That Yamaha reliability .. plus the character/engine/handling and most important the most reliable brand … yeah R1 all day. Then again, I’m biased but yeah 😌
And after getting further into this review lmfao. The brakes ?! The best braker in WSBK just won on this bike. Maybe get better… the fact that suzuki and bmw etc ahead of this is a complete joke. These guys opinions are irrelevant 😂
@@mt10-nick66 they run completely different braking systems in wsb
Yamaha brakes have felt like lumps of wood for years. Imo it's the master cylinders and pads they use as standard
Road bikes are very different from their racing variants even in the superstock trims. But the R1 is a good bike. Although my 2015's engine blew up after 11,000 kms and I sold it for a 2017 S1000RR.
@@theladdiesda8190 that comes with the territory of keeping their best bang for buck bike on the market.
How much power did the Panigale and the other bikes loose for Euro 5?
A ecu flash and exhaust will get rid of the euro 5 power loss
Sorry I turned up late with my Tesi H2.
Panigale V4SP is twice the price of the other bikes 🙈
Italia !!!
Woah the BMW.. ouch
Who is mv agusta
New sub here
“Kawasaki ZX10R last place” *Sad Jonathan Rea noises*
