Most underrated movie of all time. Should have won the Oscar for best film of 1996. The film is prescient in mentioning some issues that have recently been getting a lot of attention. It's funny that the last line of the film is "Forget the Alamo," which happens to be the title of a new book that has a lot of conservative Texas Anglos hyperventilating.

I just watched the movie and did enjoy it. Well, it was John Sayles, so no surprise. I had trouble with the sound so missed a lot of the conversation unfortunately.

Regarding sound for the Q&A, I have no control over the venue sound, and am only recording it live, from the auditorium speakers. I do spend considerable time adjusting the sound, as much as I’m able.
