- We are proud to present the second video of our 'Eurovision 2019 National Final Mini Video Series' chosen by you, the fans. In this episode the reactors watch and give their opinions on "Army of Love" by Bella Santiago, from Romania''s National Final to decide their entry for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Funny thing though, yes this song is very Eurovision friendly and is much hyped by the fandom. She was nowhere a contender for the Romanian voters. It was clear the Romanian public wanted Laura Bretan as she got 4 times more votes than Bella Santiago. Well, but in the end, neither of them won so it didn't matter I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
Laura or Bella should represent Romania but when 2 British guys have more power than an entire country...

After rehearsal Romania have a chance to qualify which i dont think Laura (Australia have best staging will make top 10 and both opera) and Bella (we have Malta and Switzerland dance song which likely will qualify and should i include Cyprus and Belarus's rehearsal also good) will qualify?

@@aditusoferu8171 A) She is not, try Nevena or Roko. B) She is a very outspoken homophobe, and when representing Eurovision, that is not advised. And C) the song was boring and uninteresting, I don't know what you lot see in it. Ester is miles better.

As a student of the Music Department of the University of Arts in Cluj-Napoca, i can tell you... Laura knows how to sing
I loved this performance.
The language she rapped in is Tagalog, a Filipino language. Bella's Filipino, and she won the Romanian X-Factor.
Alesia is such a hater! Girl, Bella won X Factor Romania and she has amazing voice! 😊

You should have reacted to Laura Bretan who won the public vote and arrived the second. Her vocals are incredible. I like Ester's song but I prefer by far Laura's song.

These people over analysis everything the only reason Bella or Laura didn't win is because Romanian broadcaster stupidly decided that 6 people (2 which are just journalist and most foreign) should have more control over the voting than the 1/7th percent that was the public voting. Public would choose Laura or Bella by far
Then they would be making the wrong choice, especially with Laura. No idea what you all see in it, it's predictable, dull and frankly sleep-inducing. Would get completely lost amongst all the (far stronger) ballads this year.
Next you shpuld do it on Laura Bretan - Dear Father. Shw was the favorite to win the Selectia Națională
From my understanding, many eurofans who followed this year's Romanian selection rooted for either laura bretan or bella santiago hard. I followed it and I rooted for Bella since the beginning, so you could imagine my disappointment when both she and laura lost to ester peony.

This was a missed opportunity to introduce an Asian language to Eurovision (Tagalog FTW!!)
This song seems so much better than On a sunday. This has a lot more potential and more powerful. On a sunday has no chance of winning at all even with the perfect staging and promotion etc. But this, imagine this having good staging, etc, thisbhas more chances of being up there, if not winning. So much power and more relatable

On Sunday so boring..............ofc.. The juries don't like Romania to go to finals
Well, this national final was...complicated. The voting system was not fair, the televote counted as a one jury member of eight , so it was kinda useless. The people huge favourite, Laura Bretan, got 4k votes, Ester Peony 300 but she was the other 7 jury member's favourite...and people were REALLY upset. For me, On a sunday is better and more serious, never liked both dear father and bella santiago, but it was a mess overall this selection as always, I mean, last year it was 100 televote with the votes shown in real time during the final
We prefer on a sunday. Bcs it s too much Fuego and too much Ruslana and Too much Fouerias already this year. On A Sunday it s uinique among all the Fouerias copies.
