@sandgrownun66 He can change things. Does He change everything we want Him to? No, He's sovereign. But we ask for favor and mercy. Ever drive a car, almost crash into someone, but the car makes a 90 degree left turn on a dime? Happened to me, back in 1977.

@@kathyscoppettuolo4203 So you almost had accident driving a car once. Therefore, your god must exist. Don't you think we need a bit more evidence than that, Kath? Your god "watches" millions of young children die of cancer and starvation every year, and does nothing. Children who'll never grow up to have kids of their own. Either your god is an uncaring monster, or he/she/it doesn't exist. Which of those two options is the correct one? I can't wait for your reply.

Food is expensive everywhere in the world. The crash of the ruble will definitely hurt you later so stock up now if you can. I spend about $500-600 a month here in Texas at a cheap grocery (Wal-mart). The prices are up about 40-60% in just a year. The manufactures are making products smaller as well. Ritz crackers are so thin now that peanut butter breaks it into pieces while spreading. Gonna get worse I think.

With food tariffs(later in the year), and tax/consumer tax and grocery they already passing in our red state :( ; I have no idea why they insistent in passing these bills here, especially when lot of us are prety poor; and small % of rich people which gets tax cuts. Food is going to rise for sure; I'd say by the time we hit 2028, food prices will be doubled by then; if we lucky, all depends on if "corporations" want to pass on the price hikes, which those tariffs which they have to pay; gonna be some scare years to come.. If you plan to buy anything expensive above 1000-5000+ .. Buy it this year of 2025, before price hike is added in 2026 or so, so save a couple hundred or 1000s $$$$.

Prices look to be about 20-25% lower than a German discounter (for example the Spaghetti). That means a much larger percentage of a Russian's take home pay is going on food. Some of the items like the foreign made alcohol cost about the same as in Germany. That is a very expensive bottle of Jack Daniels if you are earning the average Russian wage. It would be like the same bottle in Germany costing €80.

The payment came to 831 rubles. I refused to pay according to the meter - I pay according to the established tariff. I regulate the temperature in the apartment like all Russians - by opening or closing the window. If you add to this the cost of electricity, water and garbage removal, it will come to approximately 2.5 - 3 thousand rubles. Now decide for yourself - is it expensive or cheap, good or bad..🤔

Keep in mind the average monthly wage in Russia is $500. So the $6/kilo for the salmon would be like $50 for an American who averages $5000 a month.
Two pounds of salmon at Costco is about $26.

Looking at your prices makes me believe a few thousand super rich men set all the prices across the earth because they are all about the same. But, I did like your price for a dozen eggs of $1.20.

    • @arndbaggen3011
      @arndbaggen3011 12 часов назад

What are you talking about ? The same prices ? Do you have a brain ? Then use it . Eggs for $ 1, 20 in russia are much more expensive for a Russian who as a teacher earns around $ 800 per month , then the eggs in Great Britain at around the same price , but my earnings are $ 3200 a month . Never compare only the price of a product in different countries . You always must compare , how long you have to work in different countries to earn the money to buy the product . Then you see that the eggs in russia are 4 times as expensive for a Russian then for me in England . Even when the price is the same

They don't have dozens in Russia, they do it by 10s. Considering that they make ~$15k/yr and Americans make ~$70k/yr... Americans spending ~0.30-0.40 cents per egg compared to Russians ~0.12 cents, is a MUCH BETTER DEAL, lol.

Nah, that's more like a half to maybe third if you really stretch the numbers. That water is probably $10 worth; potatoes, maybe $20 bucks; 40 eggs, probably about $12 bucks; apples, probably like $5 bucks; the frozedried fish, really no clue, but its local, so maybe $10-20 bucks; probably a kg of grapes, probably $5 bucks; pound of ground turkey, let's so $4 bucks; the tentacles, I really have no clue, but i'd guess 5 a container, so $10 bucks; block of Palermo cheese, maybe $2 bucks; two containers of sour cream, probably $5 bucks; two things of cat food, probably 2 a pop, so $4 bucks; thing of cottage cheese, probably $3 bucks; packs of black tea, hard to say since we don't really use it here, but i see similar packs for sale for 2-5 bucks, so that's probably somewhere between 5 and 20 bucks worth, so let's call it $15; miscellaneous sweets, let's call that $10 bucks.
So, grand total in the US:
      10
      20
      12
      5
      10
      5
      4
      10
      2
      5
      4
      3
      15
      10
      = ~$105 bucks TOTAL
Let's round up and call it $110 to account for bad pricing on a few items... skrewh it... let's just call it $114 even.
As compared to ~$57 bucks in Russia
      So, double $57 is $114... let's call it $115
Now, compare that to the average income in Russia: ~$15k/yr
Average income in the USA: ~$70/yr
      Let's compare them as ratios:
      -Russia: 57/15,000 = (0.0038)
      -USA: 115/70,000 = (0.0016)
Adjust to 4 grocery trips per month times 12 months in a year, so times 48, let's add a couple extra trips to call it 50:
-Russia: $57*50 = $2850 --> That means Russians spend almost 20% of their income on Groceries (2850/15,000).
-USA: $115*50 = $5750 --> That means Americans spend less than 10% of their income on Groceries (5750/70,000).
