Syndie back again to help me demo the Vangoa Banjo Ukulele. Had a ton of fun with this one and if you don't think I'm making some music with the transducer pickup into the pedalboard with this rig, you're crazy. Get it, they're the best:

Also go show Syndie some love:

A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his RUclips channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket. Видеоклипы
Are you guys being forced to film these at gunpoint
Lmfao, no shit. And whats the deal with the chick? Odd stuff.
Yea i love weird chicks
That Howboy song was absolutely adorable. Syndie is the best.
The banjolele was popular in the UK, one of the most popular music hall acts of the 1940s, George Formby, played one. As a result of this popularity, Brian May used one on several Queen albums and George Harrison recorded with it too.
Not a salty comment, for one thing I don’t own or play one, just pointing out that it does have a place in modern music.
Uhm, not to discredit anything that you said, but if the last time it was used on a famous song was 1969, it has been 50 years since this instrument was relevant.
I don't know if that means it's time for a comeback or a funeral.
Well “Night at the Opera” by Queen was released in 1975, so not quite 50 years. And “Real Love” by the Beatles was recorded in 1977 and only released in 1996, and features Harrison playing a George Formby riff on his banjolele. George Harrison used one on his 1987 solo album “Brainwashed”.
And in music, anything in the past century is probably considered modern.
@@SlimeyGuitarStrings I think it’s really just a means for ukulele players and guitar players to easily get a banjo-style sound, without picking up a banjo which would play differently (even tenor banjo tuned Chicago style would give you a very different feeling fretboard,) which… is what the instrument was basically invented to do in the first place. So it kind of regressed from popularity into the niche it was born to fill anyways.
Thanks for this. I bought one because of this review and I'm really pleased with it. The build quality is amazing for the price. Highly recommended
Never stop doing these demos! 😆
Loving Sean's fashion choice in this video, very nice my man, long sleeves look good on you
I wish I were as high as a kite.... Just like Syndie 😂😘
I am, and its terrifying. Who is the goblin
Second best Seven Nation Army I've heard
:)
Thanks guys, great and natural video
Don't know about the Banjo/Uke instrument but that demonstration was just way too funny! You & Syndie sure know how to play off of one another..................LMAO!!!!!!
I was just about to ask for this!!!
its been a week and I still dont know how to respond to this...
Thank you for the presentation; I also am learning to play the banjo ukulele.
I never asked for this.
Andres Acosta definitely
Looks like you both were having a lot of fun making this video. I think that is one of the most important parts of RUclips, having fun making your videos.
There's nothin better than a banjo. Add Cindy to the mix, I'm in heaven. 👍
Man you forgot that i suggested you to do this banjo demo.. besides that you guys really made this video quite fun and entertaining to say the least.. :D
3:06 Me listening to a recording of my singing.
lol Sean, when you're doing your hillbilly serenade, it looks like she's trying hard to not throw up in your lap lmfao! Good stuff!! If I was in charge of handing out a awards for the Hill Billy-ized songs sung by a Uke/Banjo combo, you'd be my front runner!!! I didn't ask for this and if it's wrong to want this, I sure as hell don't want to be right!!!!
Young lady, you have an amazing voice!!
Syndie is great!
perfect for Kermit the Frog covers. :-)
Love the derp a derps at the end. Would love to hear some death metal on these...on second thought, shoot me first!
Sidney is the coolest.u guys are great.
If I had know it was possible, I would have asked for it. I just put it on my Amazon list. No joke. Love the pick up. Also perfect for a date in a row boat on a lake.
Awesome! ...you got the sister of the kid in Deliverance to help.
Came here and gave it a like just for the title! Great one!
I didn't have banjolele cover of the halo theme on my bingo card, but I'm glad it exists now
I'm getting one of these!
What is the last song you play together???
Ukulele tuning is reentrant, meaning the top string is tuned higher relative to difference in pitch to the rest of the strings, just like the drone of a banjo. This means you can use a technique called frailing or clawhammer. It was invented in Britain to create music which would carry over a theater without amplification, by means of a resonator. It seems like a novelty until you play it with the right techniques, then it makes sense.
That is one interesting instrument. 👍🎶
That’s a great price for a closed back banjo ukulele. I may have to order one.
Opioids are STILL rampant there I assume.
The perfect instrument for me to start exclusively covering “Sweet City Woman.” I’m really tempted to impulse buy this
I posted this too soon. I’m gonna start doing hillbilly covers of indie songs. I’ve found my true calling
Or perhaps "In the Summertime"; Mungo Jerry
Oh god i loved the riptide 😂
Don't mind me just here early waiting for Cheddar to grace us with his presence.
I actually dig it
Which ukulele size
What is she on though???
This is one of the most hilarious demo videos ever. How long did you actually film all of this to get 10 minutes worth of content that didn't have both of you dying laughing?
try the pickup on the backside of the banjo uke like you would a regular open back banjo
@ 6:49 was that a Dovydas laughing in the background?
“Wow its like beach house”
I seriously picked up some good stuff from Mr. Sean's lessons... he answered my couple of questions n had given me tips where to head next. Thanks a million man.
In 1832, Kamehameha III sent one of his high chiefs to California to hire cowboys who could round up wild cattle and teach Hawaiians cattle and horse handling skills. Three Mexican-Spanish vaquero (cowboys) named Kossuth, Louzeida and Ramon began working on Hawai`i island, first breaking in horses to turn them into working animals, then rounding up and handling hordes of cattle.
Hawaii's cowboys became known as paniolo, a corruption of español, the language the vaquero spoke. The term still refers to cowboys working in the Islands and to the culture their lifestyle spawned.
Hawaiians proved themselves avid students, quickly picking up horsemanship, roping and other skills. Hawaiians became paniolo before the territories of the American West had cowboy or ranch traditions. Cowboys in the Pacific Northwest got their start in 1846; in California and Texas it was 1848. Because Hawaiians began their work with cattle and horses earlier, their paniolo traditions were strongly shaped by the Mexican vaquero heritage that stemmed originally from Spain.
good to know
Lacking in talent.
I have a ukulele, but I've always wanted a banjolele, so I must be a howboy. I'm pretty sure that Syndie just invented a new genre of music. And that Sean invented a new genre of indie film.
Sounds like Sheldon Cooper’s Fun with Flags...and musical instruments...lol
Did you put the strap button on it?
The halo theme was amazing
Really nice....😀😀😀
I actually own a banjo uke. Not my fav instrument. But fun. Better to think of them differently
It's for people who want that old timey sound but don't want to buy a full on banjo. They make jazz style banjos for banjo players, mandolin players, guitar players and ukulele players. A lot of people want that sound.
More Syndie, please!
Lol. Great video. To answer the question who this would be for, I’d say someone who wants the sound of a banjo, but is way easier to play than a real banjo.
You two should have done B-52s Love Shack on banjo...
Is Syndie a fairy? She's so tiny.
i think they are both photorealistic gci animation characters based on an artist who had only seen barbara stanwycke movies and beavis and butthead.
I'm getting a real serial killer vibe at 1:26
she's trouble :)
This could have been a lost scene from Deliverance. Dueling banjoleles!
It seems like a wonderful, wonderful place..........you know where syndie thinks she is.
Can I interview you two at some point?
3:07 mood
the most popular instrument from the 20's. find out who GEORGE FORMBY is. Brian May from Queen plays it in that style for there song Good company
I watch his vids for the redhead. She's so cute!
The look on her face tells you.
What have i done with my life😂. 3:23
Yeah
Y’all should do a halo theme song video of its own 😊
Best nobody asked for demo yet! Syndie: "This is so against everything that I believe in." - Hahaha!
Leave Syndie allllooonnnneeeeee--leave Syndie aaalllooonnneeee......I llluuuuuvvvvvv Syndie.....
Uhmm? Awesomely different and unique are your posts with with Syndie, she's quite the talented character. Is it just a coincidence or intentional that she's very much a young Cindi Lauper?
Strangely compelling ...
review the gold tone little gem banjolele
reminds me of tip toe through the tulips .I might be the only sub old enough to remember Tiny Tim .
No. No, you are not.
Gorgeous, talented and captivating waif. Her, not you.
this could be Emeryld Ryders gold
George Burns and Gracie Allen!
i think the word she was looking for is cowaiiboy.
Hi Syndie
I am truly tempted - seriously, but the subsequent divorce would be too expensive.
i think they are being forced to do this at gun point... and im not sure how to respond to this
How MANY stickers of skeletons? 🤠
I wanna hear rainbow connection on this
Maybe next vid :)
Kermit sings the Riptide at 3:00
Imagine he didn’t sing riptide in a country accent
Hawaiian cowboys are known as Paniolo
Is your doll made of wax?
Veary funny.
Syndie that's what she said hahahahahaha
Thought that was pewdiepie for a second...
Now that was weird
It's targeted at me! Florida Boys!
No way y'all any kinda country, maybe the 16yrd high gal is? Be cool if you could actually play em
I didn't ask for this.
Is it weird that I think this sounds better than a ukulele? I'm also slightly salty we didn't get a slide solo through the mesa for SNA.
Be good kids. The devil owns a Banjo Ukulele
The content is so good just spice it up with some editing and backround music and you got yourself a few million subscribers just brand it 💟 congrats
Maybe make the backround a bit more colorfull
Damn cute and tiny, imagine all the ways you can pick up and ......
play that banjo..
Reminds me of the banjo from the very beginning of Dennis Wilson song _Rainbows_ - ruclips.net/video/zN8DaJbRCrY/видео.html
Taint full hillbillie boy but close girl I must say you look quite young I don’t age well I’ve noticed ok so ima officials a new sub
