I've got a B48 F30. The cold start is the only time the exhaust note sounds good!
Their cold start is most definitely unparalleled
the cold start function is there for a reason... why would you tune that out just so it sounds smoother?
People do cold start delete all the time in the BMW M. This is good for cars that have no cats. The Cold Start is there to warm up the cats/O2s. If you dont have them anymore, you dont need it.

Vivid Racing Is there any difference in the time it takes oil pressure to stabilize without having the initial surge? I would figure it’s probably not a big issue for the new blocks with nice tight bearing clearances , but what about something that might have a few miles on her hips?
Are we talking 100,000 miles or 30,000? To be honest, I dont know and that is a good question. Its an option for someone to choose so if you dont think its a good idea, its not necessary.
I have a 2017 GLC43 Coupe with a Eurocharged V4 93octane OBDII tune.
I saw your youtube video of the F80 M3 coldstart delete. I definitely need this. I have FI Exhaust Midpipes and Muffler. The cold starts are unbearable and since the latest Benz Engine Electronics update software, I get cold starts every 30mins.
Can you guys delete my coldstart as well for my Eurocharged GLC43 while keeping my tune intact?
If so, can this be done with my MyGenius OBDII unit? Also how much?

Personally I barely ever use the cold start function by idling in P or N, even on a car with cats. I would rather let the engine and cats warm up under load, in gear, with normal driving.
I have a golf 6 without a cat, is it also possible for my car to delete the cold start? It really annoys me

In most scenarios, no not at all. However if the vehicle is owned or driven in cold climates it can make for rough initial start up and will obviously take the engine longer to get up to operating temperature. To be honest though in all fairness I love that in Florida we can do anything for an exhaust.
Dont do this inside. With the catless downpipe there is a lot of carbon monoxide
Well ventilated areas are okay as well
If you have cats, you do NOT want to do this - You will pay the price eventually.
