They opened with this song about David Milgaard from Saskatoon, who spent most of his life in jail for a crime he did not commit. Just a couple days before, he had been exonerated by DNA evidence. The sun was down by the end of the song. What an extraordinary experience. Wheat Kings and pretty things. Let's just see what tomorrow brings...

I appreciate your perspectives on massive pick up trucks. I live in North County San Diego, coastal area. You might think this would be a more progressive region, but you'd be wrong. There are wealthy communities close by, and are largely Trump supporters, because of their wealth status and white skin. The sheer number of enormous pickup trucks on the suburban streets is ridiculous. The drivers of RAMS are the worst. I drive a small compact Hyundai and when one of these trucks gets behind me, I get nervous. They rev their engines, pull up close behind, and then roar past in aggressively, so they can get ahead of me. I'm going the speed limit, mindful of kids being released from school, people walking their dogs, and crazy unpredictable youth on electric bikes. It's insane. Very few of these behemoths are work related vehicles, the drivers aggressive and intimidating. Makes me wonder what they are compensating for. God forbid there is a bumper sticker for a Democrat candidate, or environmental placard visible. It sets the macho idiot off. What a stupid mentality. Bullies and perks. No female is impressed by that behavior, except one in the cult of Trump. It is a desire for power and dominance over others that I find repulsive. I am grieving over the tragedy of this cat. 4 hurricane that has caused so much damage over such a large area. I'm glad Biden is in charge of a national response. Trump would admire the devastation and toss paper towels at its victims so they could sop up the floods. We must turn out in huge numbers to vote for Kamala and Walz. The alternative is unthinkable. I live in Texas, sadly (born and raised, still living here and will most likely die here) and you want to talk about pick up trucks and bubbas.. OMG... I crack up at these huge trucks.. there is evidently a rubber set of testicles and they hang those off of their trailer hitches.. you cannot make this stuff up! Some are outright trump supporters with the bumper stickers and flags but others, you can just TELL that they are trump supporters. I ran into one, I can guarantee you, at the grocery store with her little "man" - boy, probably 10 or 11 years old. I did not study the lady's face but I got the feeling that he was probably her grandson. We had been going up and down the aisles and passing each other throughout the entire store. I have to ride in a buggy because I am disabled. I was in the frozen section, perusing the vegetables when he came from behind me to grab the door to open it.. I was still moving slightly and it startled me.. it startled him that I was still moving and he immediately jumped back so I started moving slowly again but he came back to try to open the door again and I said "dude", because I was afraid I was going to hit him. I accidentally ran into a lady at the same store a couple of weeks back and I was HORRIFIED that I had hurt her. I could have really hurt that kid and instead of pulling him back so that I could continue, after I said "dude", she said something really rude but I just went on.. so then every time they would end up on my aisle she would say really loudly... be careful.. it's the lady with the scooter again.. just really ugly. Of course, we were checking out at the same time and I figured great, we are going to have a showdown in the parking lot but thankfully there was no incident. What was she teaching her young child, grandson, whomever he was? My father would have pulled me back and told me about giving folks in handicapped carts the right of way when possible. Most people are SO nice but there are a few, like this lady who I can PROMISE you is a trump supporter, who just have been given permission to be their worst selves. Take care and have a good one!

Here in IN I plant flower seeds in several gardens every year for the bees and hummingbirds etc this June we had many 90 degree days in June so the seeds went dormant I got one lonely sunflower in one garden, our tomatoes were small and my neighbors said they had no luck with theirs. Our two fruit trees the peaches dried up on the tree the pears were a bit small but edible I shared with neighbors they love them, my point is we aren’t only looking at high prices some foods are not going to grow climate change is here

Hey Noel, was thinking about one of your previous podcasts where you were talking about doing positive things. Obviously you love guitars. Only a suggestion, but it'd be really cool if you did a podcast about some of your guitars, and the stories behind them. Keep up the good work, Mate!
You should check out some of the earlier episodes, I would bring out a different instrument and tell the story behind it. Many of them were procured on the road when I toured w/CSN & Jackson Browne among others.🙏
