Thank you BW! Love that you are showcasing this piece. Your center wheel should be behind 1 hour during summer to account for Daylight Savings Time for the cities written in white. The cities that are in white print on the dial are +1 during summer. During winter when you fall back the wheel will be lined up perfectly but when you jump ahead come spring it’s +1 for the cities in white. That’s why the dial has both white and blue colors for the listed cities.
I think Bruce you are the only one who showed how to set this world timer with easy instructions. I'm interested in this piece now as this is more useful that a GMT.
Just bought the Aqua Tera 41 Silver dial with orange second.. Absolutely love everything about it… I would rather have a Omega over a Rolex every day of the year… Stunning Dial and better movement then the Rolex Blessings Greg
Thanks for this video. Have this watch and can now read and use it. Boutique explained it but I didn’t retain. Being able to follow along as I did it was helpful.
I have my trusty GMT MASTER ii , but seeing this world timer really has me thinking hard . Dang Bruce , you just had to go and do this video . I think watching it is gunna cost me !!! Lol
Thanks that was helpful. I just got a Zelos Thresher GMT world time, it uses a Miyota 9075 movement. It my first GMT watch, mine also has a 24 hour hand. Does that allow me to track two time. P.S. Use to live in Kenia and Anchorage.
Dear Bruce, Many thanks to your great informative review, beside the guys who commented about the watch are great. Especially summer/winter difference. It is clear that this watch is very attractive and visual. However how many times do i really need to know the all cities time difference. Same as for Rolex Skydweller. Such as month function. Is there anyone who doesn't know about the current month ? According to my humble opinion Skydweller is better watch but Omega is more attractive. Anyway kind regards from Netherlands Levent
Thanks for the tutorial! But some of us are in Daylight Savings. If I recall from your review, the cities on the dial is color-coded to show the user which cities uses Daylight Savings. Just want to point that out. Keep up the good work! Cheers!
Tssssssssssssssssss…. You didn’t buy it????? That’s the best everyday watch!!!!! WorldTimer complication, jumping hour, 150m WR, METAS certified, Escapement wheel, great rubber band or bracelet. Mannnnnnn you should’ve buy it, it is so much fun to wear!
A great and clear summary Bruce, even I could follow it. I have the old long discontinued 2016 Good Planet Aqua Terra 231.90.43.22.04.001 asymmetric titanium case version with a white dial, that does not have that gorgeous deck finish or laser etched globe on this one. It still has the same jumping hour for the local time though. I would love to justify this watch but there is a certain Santos (probably medium) that is causing an itch that I think I may need to scratch first.
Bruce that was very well explained. Thank you. I'm in love with the new titanium version on the rubber strap. i am searching for a only one Omega watch to my collection. I am on the fence for the Speedy Apollo 8 but that new titanium worldtimer has now captivated me.
Bruce while you had this watch did you find it pretty easy to tell the local time at a glance? I was wondering if the gorgeous dial distracted from the local time reading and allowed your eyes to get lost. Maybe it's something that you get used to through some extended use? Thanks for the good content.
I would say the world map actually helps to see the time since the cities align with the map. Good for checking where on Earth the Sun is going since it even has the day and night times highlighted along with the 24h dial.
Just wondering, for the disc, is it winter or summer time? In Europe, some countries have summer/winter time so time difference is not the same depending on the period of the year.
@@peterk814 Yeah agree! What I meant to say was why do people buy watches with GMT complication when a world time is so much easier to read and offers multiple time zones/cities at a quick glance?
The colour of the cities’ text also tells you whether to add an hour in the summer or not.
Super idea

Thanks for sharing the timezone/world timer function.
So it’s an actual ’travel-GMT’ watch.
Beautiful timepiece! 🤩
I think this is a great complication. My coworker has his grandfather's vintage Seiko World Timer and was unsure how it worked.
I really like the Aqua Terra line of watches .
Just bought the Aqua Tera 41
Silver dial with orange second..
Absolutely love everything about it…
I would rather have a Omega over a Rolex every day of the year…
Stunning Dial and better movement then the Rolex

I got this Omega AT World Timer last week. My 3rd Omega. Apparently I have a favorite brand ;-)
Thanks for this video. Have this watch and can now read and use it. Boutique explained it but I didn’t retain. Being able to follow along as I did it was helpful.
Cheers Bruce mate!! Stunning watch!!! Great to see it in action!!! Cheers 🍻
Should’ve bought it! The blue in this thing is exquisite.
I have my trusty GMT MASTER ii , but seeing this world timer really has me thinking hard . Dang Bruce , you just had to go and do this video . I think watching it is gunna cost me !!! Lol
Same here … I have my GMT Master BLNR but this one here …. Make me think of getting it immediately
I've got a 1675 GMT Master and one of these. Stunning in person, loving it. Can never have too many GMTs ;)
Very cool, I always wondered how a world timer worked. Thank you Bruce 😊👍
Wow that’s really cool. Definitely going to want this complication someday, thanks for the content.
This watch is awesome!!!! Thank you for a great review.
this is a great watch with amazing dial. My friend have one too. I borrow it from my fd to take a short movie
I saw this version at an AD today. It has a stunning dial. The case is thick due to the complications and movement.
Thanks that was helpful. I just got a Zelos Thresher GMT world time, it uses a Miyota 9075 movement. It my first GMT watch, mine also has a 24 hour hand. Does that allow me to track two time. P.S. Use to live in Kenia and Anchorage.
This is a beautiful watch and this complication is easy to use and super useful.
A question: at a full hour, does the hourly hand aligned properly with the hour, because on a video looks that it doesn't??
I need help and I'm very confused
Beautiful piece … it’s a piece ahead of a simple GMT functionality…

I prefer worldtimers with a daylight savings time adjustment on the bezel. IWC has an absolute gem.
I’m really loving omega lately 🌞
Such a beautiful piece
What city/country would I use for central time zone?
Hi Bruce, How does this compare to your Sky Dweller? Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial! But some of us are in Daylight Savings. If I recall from your review, the cities on the dial is color-coded to show the user which cities uses Daylight Savings. Just want to point that out.
Keep up the good work! Cheers!
Great video Bruce
Very well done. Great explanation.
I live in Florida. Which part would I have to set it to, to see the time with the world timer? Thanks in advance.
Hey I also live in Utah. Do do you have any recommendations for where to shop for watches locally?
I love that watch man!

Absolutely 👌🏻
Sensational piece!

I've got one and have had 0 issues telling local time at first glance!

What about the India Standard Time (IST) that has an extra 1/2 hour? (GMT+5.5hrs)
How does it handle DST?
Thank you it's very cool
how do you quckly change the date only?
Just wondering, for the disc, is it winter or summer time? In Europe, some countries have summer/winter time so time difference is not the same depending on the period of the year.
The color of the cities indicate whether to apply daylight savings time or not. 3 different colors.
What a beautiful watch
Problem are su-time zones (India has them) that are not full hour ahead/behind.
Bruce, with the world timer being so easy to read why would anyone buy a watch with a GMT complication? What is the benefit vs a world timer?
@@peterk814 this aqua terra costs less than a gmt master
@@peterk814 Yeah agree! What I meant to say was why do people buy watches with GMT complication when a world time is so much easier to read and offers multiple time zones/cities at a quick glance?
@@peterk814 Makes sense. Do you own the gmt master or a different gmt watch?
Isn't it an hour off for some cities due to daylight savings in Utah?
As a side note, that's one of my favorite parts of being in AZ now!
Nice instructions, but you're nowhere close enough to the watch, I can't see anything that you're talking about with reading the times
amazing watch.
Just so cool!!!
Why did you pick up the new Speedmaster and not this piece of Art?
Most people hack the seconds hand wherever it happens to be. WIS ONLY hack at 12. I’m so happy to know I’m not the only one with a problem 😂
It's referred to as a clamshell
thanks
So it’s a gmt with labels 🤔
Good👍🎉
Non rotating disk ??? What’s the point then
That’s pretty damn cool
The Hamilton GMT is about $600+ on the grey market.
Hamilton GMT is not a worldtimer though
I love Omega but really not sure about the look of this one...a bit to shiny???
I don’t think it’s to shiny … it will absolutely call attention cause the beautiful dial but I don’t think it’s to blinky
@@impexRQ Hi think you may be wright!!! I just saw it on a strap and immediately look way better to me???
😊
i'm here for flipping jokes
Omega not oh mega
There was nothing simple about that 😊
breitling aviator unitime easier to use and great looking, but aqua terra win the antimagnetic technology..
"Hacked" 🙄 Most over used word ever.
Not well explained 😢😢😢
not clear
