We hope you enjoyed exploring the leather capital of the Americas with us! Leon, surprised us! Give Linopie a try and get 55% off the annual plan: learn.lingopie.com/TheYarbros
Ah, Leon in Mexico, where the city's spirit is as lively as a pinata party! First off, imagine strolling through the shoe capital of the world-seriously, if Cinderella were here, she'd never leave! Get ready to salsa your way through the streets, devouring tacos like there's no mañana, and don't be surprised if you find yourself serenaded by a troupe of musicians around every corner. Plus, the city's like a fashion show; people here dress to impress in ways that might make your socks (hopefully stylish ones from Leon) flip. And did I mention the leather goods? It's like they've got a wizard secretly turning cowhide into magic. So pack your stretchy pants, your best dance moves, and a love for vibrant culture because Leon's waiting to show you a fiesta you won't forget! Thanks, The Yarbros!
Maybe you have noticed people in León have a very different and charasteristic accent, that accent is unique, even in near states like Jalisco or Michoacán you can't find somenthing similar. And instead of saying "Sí" for "yes", they usually says "Ey". I have family there, is a great city not only for buying leather products, but also for eating or snacking, and the churches' architecture is simply amazing, even in modern temples
The more I look at your marvelous videos about Beautiful Mexico, the more I respect and admire your love for Mexico and its people and culture. ❤Thank you both! God willing, I would love to see you both in person!! I long for the day when I can get away from the divisiveness, bigotry and ignorance that is destroying America! Thank God even day you both are in Mexico! You are both Blessed 🙏❤️
Lawdy! Oh my, I could start a business with those leather accessory and outwear prices. They were utterly fantastic! Question: Do they have U.S. sizes (l, xl, xxl)? Thanx, love you guys
Those trees were true works of art! Apryl’s hair is everything!! Wait…did you say S&M gear?🤣🤣 I literally gasped at those prices; thanks for showing us how to tell good leather from the cheap stuff. That jacket Rondell picked out was gorgeous.
What interesting is the trim and water them all over town. If there is one thing about Mexico they love their green spaces and they work that horticulture! Yes, I have fun slipping stuff in to see if ppl catch it and you always do lol! Yes, I loved that jacket the woman who made it is a good story too... Thanks for watching!
Wow. I love how you've embraced speaking the language. I keep saying I wanted to learn spanish. The only problem is really having someone to practice with. Im enjoying your journey.
You'll get there. There are some online language exchange groups that may help but ik exactly what you're talking about. It's hard to simulate a real convo. Thanks for coming along w/ us!
Hola, me encanta el contenidos de sus videos son una bonita pareja, con todo respeto tienes una esposa muy linda y tú eres una persona muy agradable, dios los bendiga y que sigan haciendo videos tan interesantes de mi México lindo y querido, saludos
😁 we bargined on lots of stuff ..bts tours and interviews. For those items we showed on film we shopped around....a lot and the prices asked were very fair and competitive and we wanted to be a blessing.
Be you to full Sister Queen Your hair is life! Gray hair don't care!!! Would Ya'll suggest Leon as a soft landing for single women of color and Hispanic Daughter? Merida is just too hot for Our liking.
You look so adorable in your matching marigold shirts. 💛 The Sacred ❤️🔥 of Jesus Church - gorgeous. The people standing up for their faith during that period of time - beautiful. “Viva Christo Rey!” 😢 The camino & plaza - very cute & seems like a working town - love that. The “husband interpreter” cracked me up. 😂 Appreciate the leather lesson. Your backpacks are so nice. I hope you are enjoying your time in Leon! 🦁
It's cool hearing you guys using your Spanish skills! That stuff Rondel had in a cup reminded me of gaspacho just in the way it looked, I'm glad he liked it (I'm not a fan of raw onion or vinegar, lol) and that drink with jamaica looked interesting, you guys try so many different foods it's really great. All of that leather must smell good just walking down the street.
That church looks creepy like most catholic buildings in Mexico. Indigenous ppl were forced to build them and that’s how many of them died during the construction process and they were just buried right in there. We believe that’s the reason why they’re all hunted. My great grandfather was a Cristero and he got killed during the Cristero war in the 1920s in the state of Guanajuato
And my grandfather provided the cowhides, he'd treat them with salt in our property to dry them out, they stink so bad. He'd pick them up fresh from the killing factories, but all the prep work was done at our house before they can be sold to clothing factories. We had huge stacks of cowhides, he'd sell them in Leon to artisans.

Interesting take. Most of these gothic figures are creepy by design...creepy times for sure.
I’m from Leon and that’s not true, no one would force the indigenous ppl to build them, where do you get that from?
LAME! FAIL!
Thank you for stopping by. lol
