Idk why as artist’s we sometimes flee from color theory discussions/teachings. This must have been on auto play since I had earlier finished one of your videos. But I just wanted to say, you did a good job, gave some info I didn’t know, and you were cute with it. So was your cat. 🤗

Thanks, I never before saw the difference between cool and warm colors of the same hue.

This was very interesting to me, but also mostly over my head...I hardly know the warm vs cool theory. I am also a lover of earth tones and I wonder why artists don't talk about gray more...are there ways to achieve a nice gray without using black/white?

Ah that would have been a great topic to cover. Ever try mixing a red and a green with white?

OMG I bought the Albers book recently and regretted it. I cannot make sense of his writing. Was it written for teachers? I enjoyed this because it was educational and relaxed. The music was a little irritating as you have a nice voice and it was competing with it. I'm still trying to understand when to mix using the warm or cool version when trying to match a colour. I noticed you mixed warm and cool together and other times not. Anyway you've inspired me to rummage through my stash so thanks.

Yes it’s an interesting book. You have to be in the mindset I guess! I can only read little bits at a time. Thanks for the feedback on the music, it helps me for next time!
