This is the first “finale” episode we’ve done and thought it would be fun to share an extended version. Many comments say the vides should be even longer, so let’s see how it goes! There was so much to share in this episode from reminiscing over our RV Alaska trip, seeing Tori and touring her dorm, hiking, visiting very special KYD Subscribers and oh, our big news about the KYD Cabin!
Don’t think for a second that KYD is done RVing. SN 6 starts right around the corner and in the meantime, we’ll be catching up with friends and family while we renovate the cabin and get it ready for the vacation rental market. Stay tuned for next weeks video when we see the cabin for the first time and share more ideas about real-estate and RVing.

Absolutely Awesome guys! When I first started with my Department, during the holiday's I would dress up as a popular movie character (Darth, the Alien, Predator etc.) and hit my Cities hospitals to deliver sweets and gifts to the kids who couldn't get out. Years later the local union took over on a much larger scale. To this day I can still see each and every smile when I'd walk into their rooms. Their nurses were fantastic and always went the extra mile for the little ones, even when the parents couldn't. No one sought recognition. The smiles did it for us... Thank you for what you did for that family! Good People Rock. OLT
First of all that was a kind, loving and thoughtful gesture for the 2 of you to stop by and pay her a visit. Second, I always get bummed out when the season comes to a end. KYD continues to do a great job season after season. Good luck with the new house!
Ok.. so this one made me cry ... the love you guys have for each other is truly wonderful to see.
Seeing you guys take time out of your day to go see Carrie, brought tears to my eyes. I am a 5 year cancer survivor. I was 5 when diagnosed and I am now 22. But when you're going through treatment you do get down and when someone like you guys come out and do something like that melts my heart. Whenever I see something like that I comment and tell alittle about my story. Love watching you guys. God bless you all. Celebrating everyday as a birthday
So many exciting moments and updates...but hands down, the Best part of this episode is Carrie! Thank You, Carrie, for sharing your inspiring words of encouragement with us all! Your ability to help heal others in the midst of all you are going through is a gift. Thank you. Keeping you in good thoughts and prayers. So glad you have great people around you as well!

As a nurse there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for my patients, so thank you for helping that nurse do something great for her patient !! What a special gift you gave the patient, her husband, her family and that nurse !!! You just gave her the best dose of medicine ever, makes my heart happy !!!

Great video as always. My husband and I put a deposit down on a class C and plan to pick it up in June. Can't wait to hit the road. The positive, adventurous energy from you guys really stokes my dream of RV'ing this incredible country of ours!

Great video - as usual. And it shows that your appeal isn't about the scenery, it's about getting to know you all, sharing your everyday days and feeling the joy no matter what you're up to. Caleb is hilarious "ready to mingle" hahaha. Loved seeing Tori again, have missed her and wow, Carson is getting so tall! You guys ARE awesome. Carrie, I'm thinking of youk and plan to meet you on the road someday when we finally get out there. KYD helped me through the time my husband was receiving treatment for and recovering from cancer. Last month we found out he is cancer free.

I hadn’t gotten to the point of you guys meeting Kerri. I lost my (late) husband in 2008 and my mom in 2013 due to cancer. Those that took care of them both, I can never repay. So awesome of you guys to visit her. Tears and smiling 😊
We love watching you guys. We traveled alot with our kids before I retired from the army. All three are grown now. But they learned and watched us through the years and are now awesome young adults. So keep up all that y'all are doing.

Love it!! We sold our home and bought a cottage on Lake Okanagan in B.C. First thing we did was put in a new kitchen. Hopefully we can go full time in a couple years and put the cottage on the short term rental market to provide our income. Love you guys, you have validated our decision, anxious to see how this all works out!
I did almost the same trip to Alaska in 1992. I started in LA, went through Arizona, Utah and up north, the same loop around Alaska and back to LA. 11000 miles total in 5 months. My rig had 2 wheels, 21 gears and 2 pedals.
1 - This episode had me bawling. You're all amazing.
2- My husband and I have been on the road since January and the dream is to have a vacation rental/home base too. So excited to see how yours turns out!!
3- Marc, you always ask if the "everyday life" videos are entertaining. They're actually my favourite :)

The visit to the chemo center was awesome. My wife is a cancer survivor, and I know how important little pick me ups can be. It was really great of you to do that for her. Little surprises like that are just as important for their caregivers. Having gone through it with my wife, I know having someone provide a meal, a massage, or anything else to make her day a little brighter or a little easier, a reason to laugh, or anything else showing support and caring always helped and was remembered and appreciated long past the actual act. Thanks for doing that for them.

This is one of my favorite episodes. All of my favorites are those where a lot of the footage is the interaction with each other and people you meet along the way. You're such a genuinely entertaining family... driven with adventure, kindness, and modesty,... and you're just plain goofey. The travel footage is awesome but KYD's psychological capital is the human connection we feel watching you each week. We're looking forward to next season.

Congratulations on the vacation rental cabin. We are going on our 3rd year with our vacation rental cabin in Alaska and have been booked solid including this upcoming summer. Be sure to block out dates for yourself (we didn't get to go this past summer because it was full). We live in Nevada full time and have a great couple that takes care of the cabin for us, then we rent it out full-time October thru April. So far it's been able to pay for itself. Wow, y'all packed a lot into that video. Thanks for taking the time to see the lady in the treatment center. Congrats on the KYD Cabin in Flagstaff. We use our timeshare condos when we want to spread out (Our rig is 19' long.) and have company or just more room in general. After the remodel you'll love it!

Soooo glad I found and watched all your videos, I learned sooo much!!! My husband and I bought a brand new 2019 Cherokee 251RK. I was petrified! Not knowing if it was to much trailer for us. Heading up this Friday to Bass Lake in it. Cause of your videos I’m beyond excited now! Awesome episode! Especially love what Keri said about having a why. I would love to share a simple method that can help anyone find their “why” when they have difficult challenges to overcome. It comes from a prioritizing method developed over many years of planning software development projects of all things. Anyway love the episode! You guys are a true inspiration! Rocktamers are Awesome... I used them while doing RV Transport for a few summers. BUT, they impacted my fuel economy while driving empty... they made a 2 mpg reduction in MPG... so I quit leaving them on the truck when running empty between deliveries..

Well done. I look forward to hearing how the vacation rental works out. When we went FullTime we sold our “big house” and bought a small house to rent out in the event something went wrong, so we would have a place to live (after giving the tenants notice).
