I mean technically as a scientist one should be always open to other theories, if those theories are sound and well researched. In my studies we were always told to avoid the word "Fact" as there is no such thing. Everything is a theory. So while, Phoebe's ideas were insane, it always bugs me how stringent he was with his words. lol
I love the scene in the beginning of the series where the apartment buzzer goes off and Chandler answers it saying: "Please don't do that again. It's a horrible sound."
A small moment I liked is when Monica is getting ready for a date with 'young Ethan' and Rachel asks Monica if she shaved her legs, implying she's anticipating/ hoping tonight is the night they have sex. This just seemed super relatable to me. As a woman, I hate the upkeep of shaving everything but when it's date night or you're going out, THAT'S when I can be bothered to do all the maintinence lol it's also refreshing to hear TV women go through that too.

So many relatable scenes and storylines! A few more: when phoebe is asked to help: I can, but I don’t want to, I don’t even have a PLA…., the one with the eggplant: financial issues in a friends group… coz of different spending capacities, chandler’s job: decent pay but no fun, the fact that he doesn’t correct someone else out of hesitation what his actual name is, not realising that chandler doesn’t wear glasses and when he does noone notices it, watching tv… and not even getting up for food, when phoebe says to joey that boyfriends/girlfriends will come and go but friends are for life, making fun of each other to their faces/behind their backs/making fun of each other’s dating life, fighting for muffin in central perk, fighting for bigger piece of cheesecake, most beginnings of s01 episodes: discussing how guys and gals are different in dating, discussing their sexual fantasies, how girls share everything about their lives and guys dont (2 instances: “Rolling janice over and WOMEN TALK” and after ross and rachel kissed, rachel tells in detail, joey: “TONGUE? Cool!”), monica: cleanliness freak, making lists for everything……etc etc etc. They are not characters, they are all believable as real people, hence it feels so relatable, like they are our friends and part of our lives. RIP Matthew Perry, the best. ❤
Mine is when Monica sleeps with Paul, the wine guy I think, and Rachel says You look like you slept with a hanger in your mouth 👄. Hysterical but yet still feeling like Monica is rubbing it in just a little bit 😂😜
My line is when Monica and Rachel started banging their heads on the wooden column after Monica banged Ben's head and Rachael "No, somehow, if it's not against a bed board it's not worth it." Sooooo relatable!
Phoebe and she doesn't even have a pla. One of my favorite episodes was when Monica was with Richard and Ross/Rachel and they flipped for a condom. In the scenes between both couples, lots of quotable stuff there! 😂
I can see how, never knowing how long a series can last, David Schwimmer might have wanted public displays of affection between Monica & Ross so that, if the show got cancelled right out, he'd at least have got a few handfuls of Courtney Cox, but one can go with Phoebe's reaction in the lottery ticket episode: 'Get a Room'
