I can honestly say that when I first started watching this with my mom back in 1994, I never anticipated everything that could happen on this show, and in real life. I was 18 when it started and 28 when it ended. Through those 10 years, I graduated college, my dad died, I got married, had a baby, and then my mom died, as well. Watching this video was almost like watching a slideshow of my life during those years…😢
David and Jennifer during the break up was amazing performance , both cried for real , showed how they really had something between them more than thw characters
Chandler's appeal to Erica on why he and Monica went along with their mix up out of desperation for a child always makes me tear up, and Matthew's delivery is so heartfelt. Even more so when you realise that Chandler is rarely sincere, yet his love for Monica allows him to be vulnerable.
No one ever talks about the moment when Joey is helping that pregnant lady(forgot her name) and the father comes by and he leaves the balloon on the door handle and holds the little balloon's hand and walks away. That moment is pretty heartwarming
Friends IS so underrated for These moment.but It was so Real ❤️....Joey And Chandler bromance was priceless ❤ There were also hard times, like Phoebe and the abandonment of her triplets.... Monica learning she won't be able to have kids with Chandler..... AND They're all very well done.😭
I don’t think abandonment is the word you want to use there. They weren’t “hers.” They belonged to her brother and sister in law. She was a gestational carrier only. So she said goodbye to the babies she had carried and handed them to their genetic parents. She didn’t abandon them. That means she dumped them somewhere to fend for themselves. Word choice matters
For me, Phoebe saying goodbye to the triplets is number 1, not 4. I always get emotional in this scene and when I saw the title of the video it was the first scene I thought of!
Two moments that could've done in Friends that didn't happen and could make someone cry : Joey getting a great movie for the first time and Ross' proposal to Rachel
I have to give my own personal most touching moment of Friends. After Rachel just gave birth and Monica tells Rachel to take the name “Emma”. The back and forth between Rachel and Monica is so sweet. Monica:”Just Take the name.” Rachel:”But you love that name.” Then Monica says the most touching line. “But I love you more.”
What is it Rachel responds with when Ross asked her "What would you do?" Something like "Well, I would've said the right woman's name at the altar for starters " 😂
The Last One where they left the apartment kills me everytime. Friends was a big part of my life growing up, it was just always a constant. But back before streaming, and even though there would be reruns, it wasn't gonna be the same and it was so damn sad lol
break ups miracle of births move outs make ups weddings you always get the tears especially the ending of the series one epic show amazing cast all around laughter and heart you can't go wrong for a binge worthy marathon or watch it whenever it's that good
What a great list. Today's generation complain so much about this show and how it perpetuates negative blah blah blah but at the heart of it, its really about a group of people banding together through life's journeys. Anyways, #4 with Phoebe giving up the triplets by far always puts me to tears. Seeing Phoebe's journey end here with her surrogacy pregnancy is a sad ending but a good opening to the next chapter as the cool aunt.
Actually, there's only one moment that makes me cry: Ross and Rachel's breakup after she finds out about his one night stand with Chloe. Especially when he falls to his knees and holds onto her.
Whern her parents divorced she talks about the fourth of july where she was in her dad boat and seeing the fireworks was happy for her i cry everytime. Because we saw the return of jedi nonfigjting it just awsome
The Friends moment that made me cry the most at is When Ross and Monica’s parents showing favoritism to Ross and giving Monica such a hard time about anything. And always getting lectures by her own parents. My heart broke for Monica because no parents should ever do that. That’s why I really relate to Monica the most especially with this experience she had to witness. That’s sort of how I feel too at times.
At least she doesn't neglect Monica. See there's a difference between favoring someone else and neglect. Neglect means u don't care at all of what happen to that person whether alive or dead or cares about his/her event. Judy while occasionally (if not mostly) doesn't care about Monica or what she like or hate, showed at least some care/love enough that she's fed/cared well to get to where she is today. She even cared enough to attend to the bing Geller wedding. (Tho Judy could've taught her not to be so competitive or ocd). Yes. I don't like it either but at least it's..... something
@@ellensweigert754 Rachel was the daughter I never had is a huge no-sie-no tho. And Ross died would leave Judy childless. We get that Monica is a little hard to take but even she doesn't deserve these comments
Maybe not the most emotional for some, but for me, Ross & Rachel's first kiss after Ross comes home with Julie... They argue as Rachel is closing Central Perk for the night... Ross storms out... Rachel cries on the couch... She walks to lock the doors and is startled as she sees Ross standing in the pouring rain, staring at her through the glass doors. She unlocks the doors. Appropriate music fades in, then no words needed as they fall into each other in a long awatied romantic kiss. Tearing up as I type. Been there. Boy, have I been there.
It wasn't at all a tear-jerker, but Phoebe's storyline in The One That Could Have Been hit me hard. She got way into her job which ended up almost killing her. Like her mom, she could have died and left behind people who cared about her the most and whom she normally also cares about the most. Thank God she survived and was reformed by the experience (the "it only takes two heart attacks" song is a good indication of that)
Rebecca of MsMojo, when Rachel asked Ross, “How was she?”, Joey and Chandler were funny because they said, “Don’t answer that”. I think they were trying to will their answer into Ross’s brain and out of his mouth. We know that didn’t happen.
18. I hate that episode for how everyone roots for phoebe for kidnapping someone else's cat bc of her reincarnated mom and then mocks ross when he at least tried to return julio to a little girl. Rachel was the worst for pointing that out even further. For phoebe, sure i understand losing a love one is hard and its good that u believe in reincarnation. But at least believe it on a stray cat or a street rat. As much as i feel sorry for phoebe i stand by ross
I was honestly more upset when Joey and Chandler briefly stopped being friends than with any other romantic break up. Love interests may come and go, but best friends are for life... Until they're not. 😢💔
U can't fully blame Chandler or Kathy that they kissed. Before this and during the relationship joey is going out with Casey. So shudnt joey take part of the blame.
Chandler and Monica finding out their infertile really breaks my heart…the “I’m Sorry” they say to each other is sweet and honest because they truly feel as if it’s their fault the other can’t have what they really want…
I wasn't upset that they had Joey develop feelings for Rachel per se, it's when the show had them act on it that ticked me off. It messed something up for me. When I watch reruns, I skip over anything in their short storyline as a semi couple. Weirds me out
Imagine the show from the perspective of Ross's son an knowing that your dad is just hanging with his friends instead of being involved in your life that's pretty sad
Phoebe can believe her mom was reincarnated as a cat all she wants, but her assertion that she isn't hurting anyone is wrong because she knows there's a little girl out there who misses her cat.
Please Joey doesn't have any reason to be mad cuz Chandler kissed his ex-girlfriend 💯for crying out loud 😦Joey fell in love with Rachel and supposedly was good friends with Ross😮
If Ross stays married to Emily he'll lose 5 important people (explain cuz if Ross can't see Rachel he might as well not see his friends since Rachel see them everyday. And one of them is his sister which whom Rachel live with) If Ross divorce Emily to stay with his friends he'll only lose 1 important person. Sometimes friends comes before romance especially when ur partner made a over-the-line bargain like that
Nope. I was glad to see Marcel go. I hated that monkey. When Rachel comes to Ross' apartment and he has the chick behind the door, that was way worse than half of this stuff.
I am sorry but Phoebe hurling the big speech about losing one parent to justify her stupidity is not sad, if you want to put that one scene into a category that should spell "dumb and infuriating".I understand she got swayed at first but she had no right to refuse to give up on the cat when she found out it was someone's pet! Ross was totally right and making sense unlike everyone else who were too afraid to tell her the truth.
If Emily made a plea bargain to cut Rachel out of my life in exchange to stay married I'll be like this. Emily: ok. We'll make this marriage work. Ross: oh thank you thank you. I knew you would... Emily: as long as you don't see Rachel anymore. Ross: goodbye

Chandler's speech to Erica was so beautiful and will always made me tear up 🥺❤
is like a powerful moment
Janelle Rod, me, too.
Should have ranked higher
For real.. top tier moment. I teared up now.
I would've had that in the top 3
David and Jennifer during the break up was amazing performance , both cried for real , showed how they really had something between them more than thw characters
They both should’ve won an Emmy!😢🏆
Phoebe's good bye to the triplets and Joey's reaction after Rachel 's rejection - these two scenes really hits me hard
Chandler's appeal to Erica on why he and Monica went along with their mix up out of desperation for a child always makes me tear up, and Matthew's delivery is so heartfelt. Even more so when you realise that Chandler is rarely sincere, yet his love for Monica allows him to be vulnerable.
This is my absolute favourite scene in the entire series.

Monica and Chandler's infertility hits harder when you know that Courtney Cox went through the same thing in real life.
At the exact same time! 😭

Chandler's death aka Matthew's death of 2023 was the saddest of this year
When Rachel got off the plane.
We can all agree that #1 was the absolute saddest moments in Friends😭
Defo, took like 4 days for the sadness to fade out.
Glad this was a weekly show
The show started out as a laugh out loud series but sure got people emotionally invested in the last couple seasons.
I watch this show a lot and the only one that still makes me cry is the one with the birth mother.
Gunther's death aka Jamess death was also sad
Phoebe/Lisa Kudrow looked so unbelievably stunning during her wedding
Good video
There are times I can't even watch the Ross and Rachel break up. It feels so real.
Chandlers speech to Erica would probably be top 3 for me😢
