Thanks for another fantastic video Phil! You have a really great ear for song structure and influences. Yes, The Warning are fans of J-Rock, as well as K-pop and of course classic rock of the 70's and 80's. I’ve seen many reactions to that part, but you didn’t move for 20-30 seconds! 🤣 And yes, you hit it on the head with their mixing of musical influences - not unusual, for TW, to give you the feel of multiple genres within the same song. When they harmonize its so powerful. It's one of the things that sets them apart. Danys' voice is perfect for rock. She has a big range vocally. TWA till death. ❤

Dany is LIGHT, ENERGY & JOY!... and Ale is GROOVE & MYSTERY!... They're THE best!!!... And yours is one of the best reactions to Evolve I've seen, congrats! 🤘🤘
When Pau let out the Scream of Destruction, I could almost see the rotating buffering hourglass on Phil's forehead. LOL. This is my favorite moment of every Evolve reaction video!
They are astonishingly good live (we saw them in Liverpool last month). 1 hour 50 mins of absolute bangers, ending with Evolve, and yes everyone is hands up and screaming!
There comes a point where you just give up trying to figure it out and just have faith that these are divine beings sent to rescue us from the pits we fell into. The Warning 🔥🔥🔥
That was the greatest reaction I have ever seen to this song! You nailed the emotional reaction I had when first watching this. Description of how hard it is to scream with emotion was informative. Thank You!
I thank all the likes but its his reaction that is awesome… Yes, all is not possible without the incredible ladies of The Warning…. They are a threesome that I believe has never happened before…. We are here to witness the greatness… I am thankful that I am alive to observe and behold the transcendent beauty of these sisters….. I am in awe!
There's another reactor I watch (The Fairy Voice Mother) who did a reaction to this. She said that Pau screams in "Mode 2", whatever that is (I'm not a voice expert, so it's all gibberish to me), and that it's closer to the screams of terror that we see in many horror flicks. She did a really great breakdown of what it takes to achieve that sound. At any rate, this was a great reaction, dude. You seem to know your shit, and your enthusiasm is contagious. I was entertained twice here. Once by The Warning, and once by your hilarious and insightful reaction and analysis. Keep 'em coming, brother!
@@PhilZerothis is my fav reaction video you've done of The Warning simply because of your reaction to Pau's scream...litterally blew your face off with that scream...

I wouldn’t call it a distraction, they put that in the song to be the biggest moment for a reason. I’ve commented more on Ale and Dani in my Z and Dust to Dust reactions 🤠🤟💜
Especially Ale, the bass player, has commented about how much she likes Japanese rock since it is "so different". Pau has previously talked about how fun songwriting in Korean would be because of the number of syllables in the language. As noted elsewhere they and Band Maid are doing a show together in Japan in June.
Absolutely EPIC live performance!! These sisters are the best power trio of XXI century! The entire universe has been warned again! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Well, you really know your music. They have been J- Rock and K -Pop fans for years. And yes, all us Warning fans know that Pau is an alien. No doubt. They toured the U.S. in 2022 and Pau did that scream about 100 times. This is one of my favorites. They are touring with Halestorm and the Pretty Reckless in Oklahoma. A thunderstorm is rolling in and the crew is behind them issecuring the equipment. The Warning is finishing their set and ignoring the incoming storm. That's rock and roll! ruclips.net/video/Ie-MsxcCMio/видео.html
Re: the scream head back: check out Maynard doing the scream for The Grudge, he does the same thing. The thing I have a hard time fathoming is how she does that while maintaining the beat. 🤯
Side note: I think the reason that people love and appreciate “nerds”/“geeks” (as he self proclaims himself to be) so much is because they aren’t just knowledgeable like a dry pompous scholar. They bring true love and passion to their field of study and their practices. They draw you in and even if you leave not sharing or understanding the interest you damn sure have a new found appreciation of it. Most people who saw this performance are seeing it completely different now.
They’re putting on like one hell of a… Yyyyaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! Stunned silence. Dude! Best reaction video EVER!!! I’ve been grinning like the Cheshire Cat the whole video.
While you were so preoccupied with Pau's scream did you notice it didn't affect her drumming one tiny bit. When she starting drumming at age six her teacher recommended she sing along to maintain her interest and to help her timing.
Man did I love the look of utter disbelief on your face when you were talking and Pau lets it rip! That was pure gold :D I remember when I saw the video (which also happens to be super cool and she does that in it), I ate it up, just loved that!
Wow someone who actually appreciates Pau the way she deserves! Thank you. She has done many variations on this scream and it has EVOLVED over time. There are some compilation videos out there on RUclips.
It's ironic you said "Holy Sh*t!!" Those are the exact words the MTV stage manager said to the girls after they walked off the stage (after performing this song live in one take) His PA told them he has never said something like that after a performance. ever... As another Rock Singer reactor who fell down this rabbit hole 2 1/2 years ago - Buckle up!
The Warning opened for the Foo Fighters on March 15, 2022, at Mexico City’s Foro Sol Stadium. This was a few days before Taylor Hawkins passed away. They performed their song “MONEY” live for the first time in front of an audience of over 50,000 people! This would be a good song for you to check out.
You're too old to be fanboying? Not with The Warning. I bought "Sgt. Pepper's" the month it came out and I've been fanboying TW like crazy for the past seven years. On their tour in Spain earlier this year I went to see them (much better live), and on the line with me was a granpa and his little granddaughter *who actually got him into TW*. You have 7 year olds rocking along with healthy 80-year olds fanboying like they hadn't done in decades. As the saying goes, this is not a band, it's an addiction. So don't worry about age, just rock with them. They are the real deal. About Pau's scream of destruction... she does it in every show. And about genres... TW does rock, in many flavours but with their own secret recipe.
Love your reactions to my favorite band ever. You provide so much interesting technical information that most music reactors are unable to add. Your breakdowns have the potential to get to The Charismatic Voice level of fucking rad. Keep it up, there is no such thing as teaching me too much about this amazing band. Looking forward to whatever you post going forward.
I'm with you, Phil. I'm a (mediocre) drummer who has attempted to sing while playing and found it to be difficult. What Pau is doing defies convention. I like your nuanced commentary bringing up points that I had not considered. Please keep doing more reactions to the Warning.
I had a little chuckle to myself when you said "How is that voice coming out of her?". "Oh, just wait a few seconds," I thought, "you're about to experience something a little bit special and have even more questions...." 😂

When they harmonize its so powerful. It's one of the things that sets them apart. Danys' voice is perfect for rock. She has a big range vocally. TWA till death. ❤
YOUR EXPRESSION WAS PRICELESS...AFTER PAU'S SCREAM.... GREAT REACTION !!!
Another reactor called Zack said "I need a DNA test to prove they are humans" ha ha!... So even if you figured it out, yes, they are otherworldly... Pau is PURE CREATIVITY & POWER!...
Still buffering tbh
They are astonishingly good live (we saw them in Liverpool last month). 1 hour 50 mins of absolute bangers, ending with Evolve, and yes everyone is hands up and screaming!
There comes a point where you just give up trying to figure it out and just have faith that these are divine beings sent to rescue us from the pits we fell into. The Warning 🔥🔥🔥
Want your mind blown even more, this performance was done in one take!
Yes! The only performers that night to do that!
That’s Pau’s “scream of destruction.” They end their shows with this song. Really like your analysis of the songs, by the way. Cheers!
If you think her scream was a magic trick, just wait until she cries, during a song and your world just stops.
This! She is so authentic and pure. It’s like forces to tell her “don’t Pau, don’t cry please 😢” to the screen.
"Even black holes let me be"
@@renemonroy214 ruclips.net/video/h1KJkAZbcOM/видео.html
Suerte con eso (:
It breaks my heart and make me want to give her a huge hug
I love how Pau's scream just stops you in your tracks mid-sentence, it seems to catch a lot of people off guard
that was excellent
They actually played a cover of The Pretender. And actually opened for Foo Fighters in 2021.
🤘🤣 Always fun to watch someone's world explode.
Thank you!! 💜🤠🤟
They just finished their Europe tour and Pau did her Scream of Destruction™20 times in less than a month.
I think in one of the shows they not performed evolve due to Pau was under the weather so she only did it 18 times. In 19 shows, so not a bad record.
@SDsailor7 it was at the Cardiff show where they performed Evolve, but without Pau's scream. Narcisista was the song they didn't play.
@@davidrees4218 Ah, ok, thank you for the clarification.
Her scream is everything❤❤❤❤.. I'm late 40s and I'm fan Girling 😂😂
"How does Pau do this!?"
The answer is, pure, unbridled, tiny rage.
I'd be extremely careful with the "tiny" description ⚡😂
His reaction when Pau screams is EVERYTHING!
I still haven’t fully recovered
@@PhilZerothis is my fav reaction video you've done of The Warning simply because of your reaction to Pau's scream...litterally blew your face off with that scream...
8:57 I almost fell out of my chair LOL at your response. I think it was also my own when I heard it for the first time, but I blacked out like you. Pau's "scream of destruction" is iconic, and it is the scream as you go down the rabbit hole.
Like 90% of reactors, you are distracted by Pau and Dani’s fireworks and miss Ale’s beautiful, controlled playing glueing it together.
I wouldn’t call it a distraction, they put that in the song to be the biggest moment for a reason. I’ve commented more on Ale and Dani in my Z and Dust to Dust reactions 🤠🤟💜
Foo Fighters! They have a cover of The Pretender ❤
Especially Ale, the bass player, has commented about how much she likes Japanese rock since it is "so different". Pau has previously talked about how fun songwriting in Korean would be because of the number of syllables in the language. As noted elsewhere they and Band Maid are doing a show together in Japan in June.
You just found proof that Pau is the ultimate human!
TRUUUU
@@PhilZeroyou forgot to mention that the ultimate boss scream was while punishing the drums too LOL
Fifth Element reference? ⚡⚡⚡
"But it just doesn't apply to me"
She wrote it. Because it's true.
Absolutely EPIC live performance!!
These sisters are the best power trio of XXI century!
The entire universe has been warned again!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
This guy is the best reaction assessment. Love the way he explains.
The amount of talent and the vocal abilities of this band are very impressive. Great breakdown Phil!
That's how i became a Warning fan. I told the aliens to take me to your leader.
With all the styles and genres they incorporate into their work we're gonna have to start calling what they do Fusion-Rock.
St fu it's Rock that's it
Yeah, now you jumped in my camp. They're all incredible, but Pau's a monster. An absolute monster.
ROFL … you made my day Phil. Seriously, that scream brings tears to my eyes. LOL … you’ve become a fan boy too.
Pau kept the beat, too, as she screamed.
They are K-pop fans, actually their list of music they listen to is pretty varied
Wow someone who actually appreciates Pau the way she deserves! Thank you. She has done many variations on this scream and it has EVOLVED over time. There are some compilation videos out there on RUclips.
Excellent reaction. Pau is a force of nature. And to think, all that energy and sound comes from a 5' tall stick of dynamite. Look forward to more.
Awesome reaction. The Warning is an amazing band 🤘
The Warning and especially Pau are otherworldly.
Awesome review- When Pau screams we can see your soul leave your body. She is from another planet.
Wow thanks so much for the kind words!! That means a lot 🤠🤟💜
You’ve witnessed Pau’s “Scream of Destruction”.
She closes most shows with their encore performance of Evolve with her scream! A crowd favourite.
The scream gives ya shivers doesn't it? Gets me every time. It never gets old.
You're never to old to be a Warning fanboy 😂🤘
Phil's face when Pau screamed was PRICELESS!!!! Litterally sreamed him speechless...I love Pau
And this was at an awards show. They energized a totally mixed house.
Pau’s evil smile is the one you wear when you know you’ve absolutely nailed it.
I'm with you, Phil. I'm a (mediocre) drummer who has attempted to sing while playing and found it to be difficult. What Pau is doing defies convention. I like your nuanced commentary bringing up points that I had not considered. Please keep doing more reactions to the Warning.
I need Pau’s scream as my ringtone ❤😂
Same tbh
I had a little chuckle to myself when you said "How is that voice coming out of her?". "Oh, just wait a few seconds," I thought, "you're about to experience something a little bit special and have even more questions...." 😂
I wasn’t ready 😂🤣
Thought the same thing
@@PhilZero I'm still not ready.
As a 40 year metal drummer.”. I think these ladies freaking rock love their music, love their style love their look!
The scream of destruction doesn't work for you because you're a puny human and Pau is an alien goddess 👽👽
Evolve is their encore song and she screams like that every time, every show! It's fantastic!! The Warning ⚠️. ❤❤❤
Love your reaction and analysis as always, I am a 57 year old Punk/Metal guy and I also hear all the punk influences in their music I have been following this band for almost 5 years now and am still convinced they are not of this world "Viva La Warning" 🤘👀🤘
I loved Pau's "scream of destruction" already but after your reaction and your comments I love it even more. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
What a great reaction! Hilarious how she got you so stumped..... Pau is an alien.
someone is Pau crushing hard. its ok, you`re not alone
Ssshhhh my wife will kick my ass
