Hi Scott. I am a 3 steps on a ladder max person. Terrified of heights. And having to climb up and down a ladder several times during the night to use the bathroom is a hard no for me. I also want to keep my bed made up and not have to convert the sofa each night. Thank you for demoing this van. I can cross off this layout off knowing neither bed will serve my needs. Hope you found one of them to be comfortable for sleeping. Thank you for everything you do. :-)
@shelbykeefe971 Hi Shelby. I haven't purchased a van yet. Still watching videos. There is a lot consider. So far, I think I like the bed that comes down from the ceiling and sits on top of the daytime seating/dining area, so there is only one step (max two) up into the bed, and the bed can stay made up. I also like the bathrooms that have the portion of wall that swings out to cover the toilet and sink so they stay dry while you are showering. That always seems so magical when I watch a demo that includes that type of bathroom. I like the refrigerator elevated a bit, so having a freezer drawer at the bottom rather than the top would be my preference. I do not want any propane, so the type of stovetop provided eliminates a lot of vans, too. Do you live in yours full-time?
@@shelly410 I love my floor plan but it has the propane and a small bed (perfect for one). I am not full-time, but will take big chunks of time and live in there doing different stuff! Can't wait to leave in late Feb. and head south for 2 months! :)
Hello! I just cannot understand why someone will decide to not have the front lounge. In many floor plans, the driver seat is almost useless since you have no room for your legs. Maybe I miss something. I love the SOLIS pop-top but my preferred floor plan would be the Travato lithium with the bathroom at the back on the left (far away of other living spaces - make sense), a bed on the right side AND a pop top. I know you can’t buy that but that would be a super van!
watching the after play… Before I decided on my 59G, we looked at the pop top versions. I climbed up a few steps, looked around and said “nope.” Too scary for this ol gal! Especially needing to use the potty several times at night! LOL! Have a great sleep, Scott!
I'm a fan of Roadtrek & the Zions funtional storage space is very nice, but for me, I'd want: 1. A front living area w/ bench style seating & lagoon mt. table 2. A two burner stovetop. 3 A removeable toilet for more shower room.
Hope you will try sleeping east/west on the couch bed so we can see if it is wide enough to fit a 5'10" person interested in the shorter Zion SRT model.

totally with you here as far as not wanting to dismantle my bed everyday! Do you have a 59G too? :)
