My husband said he felt like this tonight so of course went on your channel and saw you had posted this video 6 hours ago. We made it, it came out creamy with no lumps. Thanks so much!!!!
You are the best with capital BEST!!! I have visited hundreds of cooking channels but none like yours. You can cook. You are just simply the best. I would love to try your recipes. I just need to make time. Thank you and keep up the good work.👍
That's how I was taught. To add water to the cornmeal before adding to your preferred liquid. Always comes out smooth. Though, the bay leaf has not been something Virgin Islanders add to their porridge, as far as I'm aware. You're the first I see to do that. Cool 😎
I love cornmeal porridge 😋 I don't use water at all, I use whole milk instead of water and I use condense milk to sweeten it with all those same spices it's delicious.
Terri anne your so lovely one of the best on u tube..can cook for real for real...looks yummy love your method. My mum uses bay leave and cinnamon stick same way as you 🇯🇲🇬🇧
I just bought your book, the hardback version... I'll probably never use it 🙈 but supporting black owned businesses is close to my heart ❤️ . Well done 👏🏾
I use the very fine cornmeal when I make cornmeal porridge, I find it's less cooking time. I brought back cinnamon leaves and other bits from Jamaica after being there for 3 months and I'm definitely going to put them to good use...thank you Terri-Ann 😊
I have been waiting on this recipe. I'm so excited to try it! Any advice on measurements for smaller portions, or is this best for an accurate outcome?

Are you using regular cornmeal?
