1910 BSA Touring Car Model 15/20

Founded in 1861, BSA (Birmingham Small Arms) manufactured guns, and also bicycles, tricycles, and other products.
Part of an association of 14 gunsmiths, they were encouraged by the British government to develop the means to manufacture guns with machinery, rather than by hand.
The partnership with the government went well for over 40 years. In 1906, with a verbal promise from the Royal Small Arms Factory in Sparkbrook, England.
The War Office suddenly decided not to implement their agreement, putting BSA into a serious financial crisis. In desperation, they made use of the factory by creating an automobile division for their company and produced BSA vehicles there starting in 1907.
