To plan and to prepare was my cup of tea when very young, but it evaporated later on, in the decades of my life when I plan nothing and go by inner guidance of the moment. It has to do with the change of my life philosophy and relying on the Creator to guide me and my intuition. Sniffing the right moment for action suits me better than planning ahead of time. I am last day Scorp, being on the Scorp Sag cusp, and with Moon & Mercury in Sag, maybe not your typical Scorp.
One of my closest friends is a Scorpio rising. I see a lot of this in her, but what really hit home was when you talked about Scorpios having trouble accepting that not everything is pre-planned or a conspiracy--sometimes, things just happen. She's a very spiritual person and believes everything happens for a reason and really struggles when she doesn't know why something happened to her or when she doesn't know the meaning behind an action, phrase, event, etc. Nothing can truly be spontaneous for her. It is both a strength when she can see the deepest meanings of things and be quite profound but also a hindrance when she feels lost at sea without knowing the purpose.
What a great episode.
She just has to accept that sometimes she might never know the reason behind some life events, but there's always "why".

Love love Kirahs' comment about the antidote to Scorpios inward diving as the act of touching grass. This feels both profound and practical in how astrology may be useful in our moment to moment lives simply by centering polarities when we notice we are out of balance. Scorpio energy is not easy to live with, it seeks and seeks and seeks... a little rest inside the simple warmth of the body is good :)
Totally. The moon is in fall in Scorpio & exalted in Taurus. I think it's due to the physical, sensual groundedness of Taurus which is emotionally regulating, vs that "water in a pipe" focused difficult-to-redirect emotional intensity of Scorpio.
And I think also the differences in terms of function. Taurean things like comfort & nourishment, those don't tend to be shameful things or things we need to hide. Scorpionic things like elimination & sexuality, or dark deathy violent shit that are sorta uncomfortable or taboo, that's where the focus is. There's more shame & negativity & hiddenness with Scorpio.
Yes, profound and practical! As a Scorpio stellium w/ my natal Saturn in Taurus, I get the most grounded when I physically make contact with the earth. Walking barefoot on the grass and dirt is kinda my thing as often as I can manage it. I also like to meditate with my back to a tree.

I can definitely confirm the Jupiter in Scorpio tendency to deal with difficult stuff through humour. I really think I can't be totally serious if something bad happens, I start to notice the funny side almost immediately. I also really like dark humour. Can confirm...many a time have been labeled "inappropriate" for my humorous response to death/loss. In a seminar I laughed uncontrollably about a body falling out of casket.😅😂
Great episode. I have a friend of mine that I have known for years and I work with him. He is a big big Stellium Scorpio Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune . I look at how he does things as Scorpio in relation to what the classic texts suggest. Everything this episode covered is very good. A few other things that is evident about my friend is that he is independent , sometimes defiant in the way he does things . He is also as Valens says’ servile’, likes to be of service to people that he likes and cares about. Valens says’ mute ‘, my friend will not engage in much small talk , he tends to be more interested in talking when he feels there’s something worth talking about and yes quite secretive about his private life etc.

Mars is drive, and it’s interesting how in Aries and Scorpio you see such an interesting demonstration in the power of the two irrepressible drives in life, death and renewal. Aries is kind of like the vitality of the physical body and the pluck of the will, and how that gives us access to energy to rally throughout our lives. Scorpio is the magnetic power of the psyche, our need and ability to dive deep, face darkness, and find empowerment in how we change in response to it. Aries is cardinal, it is fresh, spontaneous, impulsive, short fused. Scorpio is fixed, like an anchor that has dived in to this vast ocean of the psyche, and its a fearless look down into the abyss. Sometimes people compare the two as if one is superior to the other, but I think it’s better to think of them as holistic extensions of each other.
Hands down my 2nd favorite episode next to the upcoming Sag episode (lol). Sam is my twin from another year. I remember him in another episode (Jupiter I believe). The group you compose and how you conduct these episodes are really enlightening.
Esoterically, scorpion eagle dove are the 3 stages of ascension/transformation/death and rebirth (the death card in Tarot is the card that represents scorpio) which all scorpios are meant to achieve before they can ascend. Scorpion is the fiery overthinking self that takes everything to heart and loves self sabotage 😂 the eagle is transmuting those traits and bringin them under your control so you can now see from above and observe (without emotion) and the dove (symbol of peace) is the final stage where we hopefully find our peace with the efforts of transmuting the first 2 through spiritual alchemy. At 57:00 in, when you are talking about how we almost want to consume with passion the people we have strong relationships with is so true and corresponds with the root chakra (genitals) and through sexual transmutation can also ascend to higher dimensions through the practice of trying to make 2 become 1, lead (root chakra) into gold (pineal) xx

Loved this episode, and I love Scorpio energy! I recall growing up reading my mother's copy of Linda Goodman's sunsigns and descriptions of Scorpions scaring me. As an Earth sign sun I always thought I'd partner up with a fellow Earth sign. But In my mid 20s I met 3 Scorpios within a year who all had the same birthday. First my boss, then a co-worker and then my future partner/husband/father of my child. All transformative relationships, my marriage did not last after the birth of our 2nd child. Somehow I feel I became immune to the venom and continue to be drawn by ♏🌞, and now I feel it's cause I was born with a ♏🌙(but I also can feel my Italian ancestry and LOVE Passion and dramatic displays of emotion!)

Enjoyed this. Nov 1 1970 dob here; my Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Neptune are in Scorpio. For me, the obsessiveness is not about fixating on a particular thing out of stubbornness, but rather a genuine NEED to comprehend ultimate Truth. If we are adamant about a particular idea, it is because we just… know it rings true. When it comes to people lying to us, we feel it - we suss it through our mind, but we also intuit a great deal, and so cannot always prove or explain how we KNOW, but usually what we tried to assert turns out to be true in the end. Often, when I ‘feel’ the lie, I won’t even mention it unless I feel such would make a difference. I do not blame the liar either (everyone has their reasons) but I do note it. Sex is not so much about merging with the other person, but rather transcending the two! Again, ultimate Truth, the largest mystery being spiritual source. I do not believe in grudges nor retaliation (perhaps my Sag moon saves me), but more so I suspect - older Scorpios have simply been through that cycle so many times they learn such things don’t serve them, and rarely others. We know we can sting people with our observations, but also realize people shall rarely grasp the lesson. So… after middle age, we often become the observer, realizing this life is not so much about teaching others, but our own evolution. We serve others with our talents and skills. Scorpios can be the greatest givers once they tame their tail. Hope that makes sense. Oh! Last thought - I do not see scorps as dark and murky at all. Scorpions do not live in swamps. They live in arid, hot places. Same with the lizard, and the eagle flies in the air. Scorpios are water (emotion) but… tempered with reason (air) more than people know. Finally, I imagine the fixed water more as a deep well or glacial lake than a pipe. Food for thought. Great video, thank you!

He was straight forward set our goals and looked at every situation as how does this help us reach our goals. I've been waiting for this one all year! Cancer rising with moon and uranus in Scorpio. A theme i recognized with this eclipse cycle is I had extreme dizziness and fainting spells right around the Taurus eclipses . It was definitely more extreme last November and i believe there was an opposition to mars in 2021 if i'm not mistaken . I got a lot more "banged up" hitting my head on cupboards etc. when i kept fainting on the bathroom floor. I honestly suspect i may have been having a seizure with how pronlonged and extreme it was . I ended up sitting in the ER all the next day to get blood work and get checked out . I forgot to mention that I had a severe drop in my blood pressure around the time of the incident. I just chuckled and was like "yeah i told my mom i suspected it was probably the transits,but she made me get checked out."
(fair enough) haha. Then it was actually shortly after the eclipse this year . I had been feeling off for a couple days and then on 11/11/2022 I had another fainting episode ,but as soon as i felt it coming on i got to a chair and fainted there. It wasn't nearly as extreme as last time but i made sure i was away from the cupbords and hard surfaces this time. Loved this podcast , Thank you guys🤩

I feel the effects of transits most from the Scorpio. I wish I had other planets than Moon to be in this placement, but I accept is as a generational heritage and definitely don’t want to lean into detrimental qualities of this placement.

The referenced exaggeration of Sagittarius is so true! I’ve noticed this with every Sag I’ve met. They do embellish the truth and lose track of their tall tales. I am a Scorpio Sun person and I am often giving myself personal challenges to abstain from certain vices for particular amounts of time. Accurate!
I totally Love being everything Scorpio & the intensity & depth that comes as such. I’ve certainly covered all aspects of being a Scorpio man intimately & through the intense highs & lows by being open & honest I’ve learnt so much about myself as a physical & Spiritual being. Best sign I feel for an individual wishing to uncover their own inner & external truths entirely. Totally at best & happiest when moving through life when in harmony & balance with my Scorpion traits. Most important suggestions that I could offer living with the Scorpio energies is to be as often as possible in a focused state of self awareness & being accountable & open to the advice from others especially Loved one’s when they see something that has been said or done that affected their feelings. Paying attention to others feelings in a compassionate & considerate manner was often challenging because as a Scorpio I can talk about anything & no conversation is ever difficult. Having the ability to speak so deeply I found it also came with a slight lack of empathy at times towards others & more of an expectation that they should be more in control of their own sensitivities & emotions. Softening & checking in on the ego has also become vitally important to maintain a balanced self. Life is never deep enough being Scorpio & not always having someone able to reach the same depths was at times disappointing & having to then move through that dissatisfaction quickly & accept another missed opportunity. Definitely got to be comfortable with intensity because those intensities can sometimes be exhausting even being a Scorpio! Not sure other signs actually realise this about us lol 😂 Also not being afraid to work on the darker shadow aspects of self from a Spiritual point of view I feel has been the most inspirational aspect of being a Scorpio because it allowed me to look at myself & by going within & doing the work necessary so as to balance my energies & ultimately move towards finding that purer Love of self that I incarnated with at birth before I allowed the attachments of my human experiences to take hold often in negative perspective which took me further & further into a sense of unworthiness. Which we have all done within our lives through the responses we choose out of our personal experiences. Scorpios have the depth & patience & the knowledge to find the path back to remembering the unconditional Love of the Creator that every human being (any sign) originates from. That for me is what I meant earlier by a missed opportunity when in communication with another who is unable to reach deeper. Dark energies can be stereotyped as a bad thing when in fact it’s the opposite because it’s our dark shadow energies that are the triggers/the teachers which are actually opportunities helping us to rediscover our self worth & the Love which is our birth right. So absolutely go deep guys if you can because you’re all so worth it 💚🙏

This episode was so insightful. I added so many notes in my books on this and it all resonated so much for me as a Scorpio rising, Gemini Sun, and Virgo Moon and how all those qualities either merge well or struggle merging. My Scorpio need to gather ALL information about my passions and the depths I go to in order to find it paired with my Gemini NEED to know something about everything and my Virgo need for it all to be well sorted and organized and “perfect”. My favorite term for myself is the “sponge” of knowledge. 😂
