Appreciate the work you put into this. Question though complys, I know you use the Skypad for fast pace shooters (I also ordered one myself for that purpose) but for tactical shooters (if you play them) is it still doable to play on such a fast pad?

EDIT: i found out how to fix it
1, tick off read only from ur video config file and apply
2. Change in game video settings to complys and apply
3. Close game
4, put video config back to read only and apply

Hal's and Rep's reticle as well as a few other players is green, but it turns yellow depending on the background, so it's a little bit like the old neg value reticles, but I haven't put in any work into figuring out the values....I'm assuming the bottom slider would be all the way to the left because the further to the right you go, the more white you add but going toward black doesn't go to black, but to transparent...You can't got transparent because of hue from selected color, but you can allow certain colors through thus the changing reticle colors.
I looked but couldn't find much if you find out more about the color values please let me know

I just keep changing my color from time to time. There are a couple primary/secondary colors that have nothing in the environment that makes them hard to see, and a new thing will get attention and forces me to focus more on the center.
My enable boost will not save and I can't figure it out

@@Senauce I figured it out. Right click setting.cfg unchecked read only go into game change to boost exit game and recheck read only and you should be good.

this is a great vid, but i feel like apex should just be easier to run. like ive tried all kinds of stuff but i still dip fps all the time. my machine should handle apex 240 fps no problem and it has in the past. but now it doesnt, maybe its a season 18 bug, common respawn L

Got 7k hours in Apex and 60.000 Kills on my Pathfinder since day 1 always played with AutoSprint on (I play PC/MnK) I feel the shotgun cancelling isnt as bad as it used to be or I just got used to it but in overal AutoSprint actually helped me alot its 1 keyless youll be using often otherwise almost always. And as stated I have a custom walk keybind in the rare cases I need to sneak around.

@@complys i managed to fix it , its by cfg files , got double lines to force anti aliasing to turned off so in game 0 and cfg 0 = -1 , so its completely destroyed the line xDD , i fixed that ty again for reply appreciated that ♥
Thanks brother I went from a horrific 31fps to a playable 66fps :) but I need to keep it 60 or below or I’ll get screen tear do you know how to limit the frames? (Obviously without buying a 144hz monitor)

just make sure the videoconfig is not on read only and then just put everything the way you want it game and the file will reset the stuff we changed in the video

I did everything properly but my game is looking very blurry for some reason
Do you have a 1080p or 1440p monitor? Do you have a 24 inch or 27 inch monitor?. If you have a 1080p 27inch monitor then your graphics will look very blurry because of the lack of pixels vs screen size. If you have a 1440p monitor then 1728x1080 will look very blurry because it’s supposed to be on a 1080p monitor. Try using 2304x1440 and it will be very crisp but stretched. It’s the exact same resolution as 1728x1080 but for 1440p monitors

@@frayedknot6717 yeah then naturally your game and screen will look blurry. Even just on the desktop home page will look blurry. Unfortunately there’s nothing to do except get a 1440p 27inch or downsize to 1080p 24inch

It's notable that if you don't want to add the Image Sharpening tool to ur NVidia Tools- you don't really neeed to but it might cost u a tiny bit of FPS to match it.
Not sure if it works the EXACT same in the back-end (ie: any performance loss doing it thru the panel or thru filters)
but you can use Nvidia's Game Filter system to enable Sharpen and ignore film grain under the same setting and tune it the same way. Ive used nvidia filters for at least 2 yrs on apex now with what I would call "negligible" performance losses on an RTX2060Super.
NVIDIA Filters cause input lag. Some youtubers smarter than me tested it and its a noticeable increase if you're sensitive to that
i was using it for a long time it make things clear but the same time when stopped using i felt the game is so much smoother and faster i guess its cause input lag

Using non native resolution to increase hitbox size while using 110 fov to actually reduce them sounds really odd.

the biggest rip for console players i would give is play on a monitor or TV that supports 120FPS or 1440p ‼️ This makes a huge difference because 60FPS makes players harder to see because of loss of frames. Aiming is so much better/smoother on 120FPS.
I’m pretty good and play on 55 inch Sony 4K TV on 60FPS and i just know how much better i’d be if i played on 120 or 1440p

Hi, I have a 1440p monitor with a 165hz refresh rate but when i have apex legends in full screen it lock my monitor to 120hz. I am using DisplayPort 1.4 and have everything set to prefer maximum fps, also i have disabled full screen optimizations. do you have any idea what's going on? Thanks in advance!
It sounds like some weird bug with vsync I know a couple of people have had. Make sure it's disabled in your video config and also in your control panel, windows settings, etc. let me know if that helps
@@complys whelp I tried disabling Vsync everywhere but the issue persists, but the plot thickens, when I set my resolution to 1080p it goes up to 144hz and 720p it goes to 165hz. I have a DisplayPort 1.4 certified cable so I have no idea what's going on. I've also tried it on my laptop with DisplayPort over Usb-C same issue.

Are you connecting it to the correct port in your monitor and/or gpu (just in case there are difference, doubt there are).
Do re-install your gpu using ddu if you feel you've tried every setting.
Also, make sure you have the right cable, cause this really sounds like a cable issue.

I have question, in config file with normal settings, which one are for shadows? I mean, i saw 2 fps diff woth cfg file, so im not using it, in config file searched all lines woth shadow and set them as they were in my copied config file, and still im cant see shadows, i want them to turn on but everything else turn off bcs with yours config file it gives from 142 to 154 fps in 2K resolution with 3050 8GB

Did you create it as a custom resolution? And also set your scaling to full screen?

Might be worth looking into your monitor settings. Mine has the option to scale and not to scale.
