See, I used to be like this because I felt like they over fried them which they do, so if you want them a little softer, when you order them say you want a fry light( which means they will fry them for a shorter amount of time) they always come out perfect, soft with a slight crunchy-ness lol. They are made from fresh peeled potatoes with 100% pure cholesterol free sunflower oil. They are good! The animal style fries are even better. Also you can ask how you want your fries to be cooked, i.e well done crispy or light! In N Out has the fish bowl effect so you can see Everything in the back from when you ordered till you get your food, it’s pretty neat!

Most other places double fry their fries, or more likely they use fries that have been fried, frozen, and bagged then they fry them a second time. I've had restaurant fries that are really good, but fast food ones don't taste good to me. Too greasy. In n out fries actually taste like potatoes rather than just salt and grease.

I work at McDonald's at the moment and now I really have a hard time understanding the fascination with the fries 😂 they teach us that they only last for about 7 minutes so if u really want to make sure they're good just do what Loni says, but don't ask why it took longer than usual. I think working in a fast food place really changes u in certain things, its like I can't go to mcdonald's out of work anymore and I really used to enjoy it and the damn fries.
