Mergim just admit it you do not like Filipino Foods That is why you always go to Starbucks. There are good local coffee shops in the Philippines and good Filipino foods in the Philippines.

Filipinos have Filipino food readily at home and those who are middle class have already developed taste fatigue, that’s why you don’t have a lot of Filipino food in Salcedo. Makati being the key financial district of the Philippines is a very aspirational place. So unless you’re a foreigner such as yourself, you won’t be caught dead eating adobo in public places because it somehow brings your image down, you know what I mean? It’s the colonial mentality to a certain degree as well.

I don’t get the weather here 🇵🇭 at all?! It’s been raining almost everyday and it should be cooler after it rains. The humidity is unbearable! Brand names are so expensive here in the 🇵🇭. I was at Birkenstock and the sad thing is they don’t have a lot of choices. I can’t wait to go back in the 🇺🇸. Outlet Malls usually have good sales..
That’s the prices for imported products, they charge you with import taxes, shipping taxes/fees, overhead costs, etc. it’s better to buy your branded products from where it originated. BTW, Philippines is a tropical island, you’re experiencing tropical weather lol. If it’s too hot then go to the summer capital which is Baguio
Crocs in the Malls is very expensive. There is a Crocks factory outlet in Paseo de Sta Rosa, in Sta Rosa Laguna near Nuvali, they always on Sale it might be a half of the price compare to the Malls, but most of the design and available slippers there are the old design.
