    In a playoff game I’d take Alvarez over anyone else for one at bat with the game on the line.

      People don’t understand this. That those guys like Trout, Judge, Ohtani haven’t proven themselves in October. They may have better stats in the regular season, but when it counts, Yordan has proven himself.

      ​@@cceynar94he had his chance to get to a better situation and chose not to even pursue the pressure. As far as I'm concerned that's his fault but the fact of the matter is that if you don't prove yourself when the light shines the brightest it's really hard how to rank you above those who did even if your regular day to day numbers or accolades appear to be a bit better

    Judge, Yordan and Shohei. The best power hitters. Yordan doesn’t get much publicity like Judge and Shohei but I don’t think he cares one bit.

    Yordan is so underrated somehow man, if he played for the yankees or the dodgers he would be in more mvp conversations

      He don't play in the field soo naturally people trend to forget or don't pick too munch interest in him... Mostly the poeple who know baseball knows when healthy he can be the best hitter in the game!! He don't have weaknesses in the batting box!! Perfect swing, clutch and IQ

      @@alphaal1589 he plays a fair bit of LF and if people saying that Judge is mvp over Witt because Judge also plays defense on top of being a better hitter then Alvarez should also get that same leeway because god knows judge is average at best in center

      @@diegoherrera0268he does not play a fair bit of left field. Only time he plays LF is when the Stros are feelings desperate and need more bats in the lineup or when players REALLY need a break but they would rather have someone else out there over him every time

    The best things about his swing, and the reason he stays up the middle so much is because he keeps both hands on the stick

      No. He, like all the great hitters, loads and stays loaded as he moves that he can snap the barrel at any time. That is why the barrel blurs out behind him, not in front of him like most hitters.

    In the postseason, Judge has a .211 BA with a .772 OPS in 44 games.
    Yordan has a .295 BA with a .949 OPS in 58 games.
    I'm taking Yordan all day, every day. Judge chokes when it matters.

      And that's with a horrible rookie playoff run. In 2019, Astros fans were begging AJ Hinch to bench him for the first few series. Also, His 2022 playoff stats aren't very good, but he came up big when it mattered most.

    He has ice water running through his vains. Confidence at the plate makes for a relaxed, focused hitter. Knowing you can is half the battle.

    Through out 1736 at bats which is Yordans years in mlb , remember judge is been longer than Yordan by 6 years in mlb : Yordan 441 hits 112 home runs 390 strikeouts
    Judge 391 hits , 111 homeruns , 548 strikeouts
    Not even counting the amount of times Yordan gets walked intentionally
    Judge is the best hitter in the game ??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂

      Not only that but Judge faces off against garbage pitchin in AL East while Yordan has to deal with high tier pitching in the West like the Mariners Castilllo and Gill

    I would take Yordan any day over Judge. Judge is a great regular season hitter, in the post season he turns to shit. Yordan is the definition of clutch.

    Let’s talk about this a little. MLB needs to change the pitcher win/loss rules. Framber throws 7 no hit innings, Hader blows the save giving up a 2 run HR in the 9th, Meyers and Altuve do the job to bring us back to win and Hader gets the win! NO WAY! Do a video on that. Talk about that.

      If you still value win loss to the point that it gets you upset you're putting too much emphasis on it. A lot of people say it doesn't matter at all and I disagree because there is something about simply outperforming the guy on the other mound but the fact of the matter is there's too much in the hands of others to put a ton of emphasis on it

      Ohtani hits more HRs but Yordan might be a slightly better hitter. And of course the media attention is on Shohei, not Yordan. Yordan can’t run like Shohei though. And neither can Judge.

      You forget he played for the angels so he was easier to pitch around and had to force the issue and was pitching which makes him valuable and this year he steals more....yordan used to field as well...him as a dh makes him like big papi

      I don’t hear this same argument when people talks about judge
      Go look at his stats he has never played 162 and has only gone over 150 twice
      Other than that only one season over 140 and the rest are less than 112
