Praying five times a day is a part of Islam, it's not because Muslims are competing with Christians. They are obeying what Allah prescribes for them. Even if Christians prayed seven times a day Muslims would still pray five times a day.
I think I understand your point, it's not directed at Christians. However there are many extra prayers that are recommended on top of the 5 mandatory prayers and the Quran does tell Muslims to compete in good deeds.

You are right and wrong at the same time. Praying 5 times a day is mandatory in Islam but there are also non-mandatory prayers in Islam, and there is a concept of outperforming and competing with each other in good deeds in Islam.

It is an issue when you deliberately choose to do this and bring traffic to a standstill. Interestingly, this isn’t a practice allowed in most Muslim countries but it is frequently done in non Muslim countries. It is a show of strength. Along with demands around halal food, being told not to eat when fasting, burkas and prayer rooms.
If all of the above is so important to you live in a Muslim country and save us from this dogma!

in Muslim countries we have mosques 🕌 on every corner, in every shopping mall and school etc. even then we pray wherever, when it is time to pray, so long as its not blocking anyone or anything and it is clean. the only places we cannot pray in are cemeteries and toilets. cemeteries have a different type of prayer which is allowed but with certain differences, so as not to allow grave-worship, which is one of the oldest type of idolatry in human history.
Muslim kids have to start praying as young as 7 or when they begin to understand right from wrong! not puberty.

Muslims are allowed to eat meat such as beef or sheep or chicken that were slaughtered by Christians and Jews, because Christians and Jews are considered as Ahlul Kitab (People of the Book), people who received revelation from God, so we are allowed to eat their food , it is halal for us. Muslims are however not allowed to eat meat that was slaughtered by polytheists, pagans, etc.. We don’t eat while fasting in Ramadan just like Christians, especially Catholics don’t eat during fasting. If you feel so threatened by Muslims that the mere sight of them practicing their faith, fulfilling their religious duties bothers you, then you need to check your heart and ask yourself why do you feel offended by that? You seem to be Hindu? We see what’s happening in India with the intolerant Hindutva ideology that makes Hindus lynch their Muslim neighbors for eating beef because Hindus worship cows and accuse Muslims of disrespecting the Hindu gods for eating beef. So muslims have to hide eating beef,otherwise they can be killed by their Hindu neighbors. It’s completely bonkers what’s happening in India, the Hindus also harass the Christians and even the Sikhs in India. No one here is taking their shahada, just muslim students praying and their peers joining them in solidarity. Islam is not an Arab religion, it's a guidance for all of humanity. Well, if I (a white male) was to have said anything as divisive as that, to any person who was non-white or, indeed, a non-Christian, then the authorities would have charged me with some offence. And if I was in Britain that would entail a jail sentence of at least two years.
Alas, when it comes to Muslims vomiting out vile, and highly derogatory perspectives, politicians and self-hating, progressives/liberals are like the three monkeys, who only want to see what fits into their deluded perspectives. Apropos to why politicians here in Australia have been virtually quite obscure with calling out Muslims for their disdain to Jews and the abolition of Israel, is inherently due to the fact that, there are 8 federal electoral seats in Sydney and Melbourne that have high percentage of Muslim voters that would dislodge their sitting members. However, there are also another 4 seats in the major cities of Australia, with up to 20 percent of voters in Labor held seats who are Muslim.
Hence, those percentages of voters in these seats, which are also held by Labor party members, are more than enough to oust them, too. Therefore, if the federal government was to condemn the virulent bigotry espoused and, INDEED, inflicted by Muslims would see it lose office. In confluence with this occurring here in Australia, there are similar occurrences taking place in the US, Canada, and in Britain, whereby Muslims threaten the security of political parties in those spheres.
This most certainly the case in Britain, whereby HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Muslims have taken to the streets in recent months demonstrating with pro-Palestinian rallies. All of which extols that Muslims are totally unassimilable in the host societies. And because of their numbers can affect the outcomes of elections.
