I don't know what it is, but I love hearing about this side of Tyson.
Because it’s so unexpected to think he had some vunerability and went through things we all do. It makes us average guys feel just like him and that’s pretty cool!
Homosexuality. That's what it is.
Its because inside, hes still that little kid he never got to be. Not calling him a child, but slowly hes getting that childhood back.
@@iim4xii129 ?
I had 50pigeons here in sri lanka, some people come to my garden and open the cage and stole all my pigeons, it's soo relaxing to watch them fly and just watch releases stress, relaxing
the interviewer is awesome, not to pushy and very respectful!
+KAVA Thanks!
Fur Coat Fashion & Film prolly bc he wasn't tryna get his ass beat
2good4mondays jajajaja
young charlie rose
too* hehe
This guy who ripped the pigeons head off deserved to get the shit kicked out of him. Ain't no fucking reason to be doing that.
Kimmo Laine He did get the shit kicked outta him
Kimmo Laine - that's how the Amish remove the heads of chickens. It's actually instant and more humane.
Bro legit jep
@@jp3mcpherson use a knife at least, idk
Why do yall say kick? It sound stupid. Mike beat the shit out of him
He’s so strong and fragile at the same time, like a diamond.
diamonds arent fragile tho
@@mrtiny4515 they have lines within called cleavage, that makes them snap rather easily, look it up, theres a video that goes into why diamond armor wouldnt work
@@wicklash9065 I have the feeling Minecraft inspired this discovery lol
@EF EF oh like when u smash your head against mikes he bites ur ear off💀💀😂
God made him like that for a reason.we are now seeing it.amazing.
he really does have genuine empathy for those animals. I think that the anger he showed in his youth probably stemmed from how sensitive he really is.
Comment like this is not
i mean if anyone touches my pet theyll gonna have to beg to die
💯
That’s profound and most likely true!
That hits hard.
The only interviewer that doesn’t try to provoke Mike, just asking nice questions
I like how hes embarrassed and the interviewer is like "No its interesting" because it is and how did you discover them and how did you find peace
I love how self conscious he is when he talks about his love for his birds. There’s nothing weird about being connected to animals and wanting to care for them.
It's sad because this was probably a very traumatic experience for him, but it's one of his most well known stories so he has to constantly retell it.
It's like a vet with an amazing story that everyone loves to hear, but you can see the PTSD, discomfort and sadness as they recall the horror of it all.
I had a brush with death about 4yrs ago.. I lost a lot of blood at that time. Then my Son brought me a pigeon on my birthday.. I grew close to this bird. They totally have feelings. My grandma passed away about a year after we got her. She caught me crying on the couch after grandma passed, she walked up to me ever so gently, and sat next to me.. She knew I was upset and provided comfort.. But a week after Grandma passed, Pearly Bird passed too.. She changed the way I look at Pigeons FOREVER!!! ☁️💛🕊️✝️🕊️💛☁️
Sorry about that loss. After a breakup that left me pretty bad for months my borb that hated being held started coming into my room to visit me. They know when to comfort
God bless you
I love how the interviewer isn’t trying to be smug or clown on Tyson’s passion. He is trying to get an authentic version of Tyson. This is GOLD!!
Mike's true personality is fragile like a pigeon. He sees peace and tranquility in these birds. You see how caring and calm Mike is talking about his true love for the birds. This is the real Mike Tyson. Boxing, fame and money is not desired by Mike anymore. He hated that lifestyle because it lost it structure when Cus died. Mike's past was a result of a lack of nurture. This is why Mike is nurturing these pigeons with addiction. He is trying to prove he is human and not the animal he was in the past. Greed failed Mike as a boxer and a human when he was a youth. And by the way, if Cus was still with Mike and Mike vs Ali both in their prime. Ali would have joined the army just to avoid Mike. LOL.
Lmao, although I think Ali in his prime would beat anyone, I really found the way you wrote the ending funny LMAO. Good one. I might have to use that one day.
Naaah Fam if 1964 Ali fought 1988 Tyson both being 22yrs old idk I think Ali would have schooled him on the outside with his reach and movement I mean Foreman and Frazier gave this guy hell and they never knocked him out so I think Tyson would have a long night and get tired like the Buster Douglas fight
fragile like a pigeon
True prime Ali was gonna get destroyed by prime Mike Tyson he is simply the best savage & the greatest boxer of alltime no debate about it
@@jotimthingadane1704 Tyson said Ali was way better
Somebody stole his pet bird, ripped its head off in front of him, threw the body at him, and smeared him with the blood that was gushing out of its neck.
And some people wonder why he was so angry in his younger years.
I was thinking this too. Also interviewer knows this is the story and asks Mike to repeat it. That's kind of fucked up lol; It's clearly something that traumatized Mike.
Tyson had a really rough childhood. The fact that he’s still around & still sane is remarkable.
@@godzillian3540 what he's leaving out is the reason they came to his house in the first place was because Mike had robbed their house.
@@godzillian3540 he probably wasnt that traumatized considering how many times he nearly took a humans head off. Also if he was bothered he wouldve said something, he has proven so before.
I don't think he'd be traumatised but, pissed off that his bird was just killed.
Plus the disrespect by rubbing salt in the wound by throwing the damn body at him XD
Bensinger is an incredible interviewer.
Tyson is so humble and sweet and the interviewer is a breath of fresh air. SO professional and he actually treats people like human beings. He's VERY professional. That is rare!
It’s heartwarming and heartbreaking that someone as ferocious and tough as mike tyson has a part of him deep down that is still a kid who loves birds.
These videos honestly deserves more views. Much love for tyson.
MIKE TYSON..glad you re still here ...he s not afraid to show himself..true tough amazing individual
Some people won’t even stand up for there friends. Mike even stands up for his pidgeons lol 😂 you gotta respect that
on god
It was mikes pet..
I probably wouldn't "stand up for my friends". After all, they're grown ass men that SHOULD take care of themselves. Mess with my pets though...
I love pigeons. I would stand up for them too
I liked Mike Tyson my whole life but now I absolutely love the guy, especially when he's talking about his passion with animals 🐦❤️
John wick: You touch my dog and your dead.
Tyson: You skin my pigeon and your demolished.
Except John wick is a movie, nobody fucks with tyson

Keanu Reeves is an actual fighter though?
And he does shooting practices as well.
So don’t underestimate him, just for a movie.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.
Mike's pigeons were truly his first family he loved.
Second cus d'amato
@@freddiereagan6705 Yes you are right, but pigeons didn't push him to fight and be a world champion... the purest love first always comes from mother nature.
@@El.Duder-ino Cus taught him much more than to be a boxer, he wanted Mike to be successful and to be able to handle himself. The love he had for Mike was genuine, a father-son relationship
I live in Vegas and help homeless people and a guy I help says Mike visits him and gives him $100 and has coffee with him. He's a genuine great guy with soft heart.
Mike said in an interview recently he has never tried coffee lol

That is so traumatizing. I am so sorry to hear this happened to him. He is so strong.
Just wanna say mate this was an amazing interview you did everything perfect and it was nice to see tyson open up like this, he probably felt nervous about opening up as he has had alot of interviewers take jabs at him or provoke him for no reason. Earnt a sub
Thanks Jai, that means a lot to us! -AD
This is a great Interview. It seems like Mike is really calm in his presence, and he asks the right questions to get an interesting discussion. Great job!
Wow it's amazing to see how time and life experience has tempered Iron Mike, good job on the interview and showing the world that Mike is not some crazy violent person.
Love this interview, Sir! Great job all around
I've watched quite a few of Bensinger interviews, i love that he's always so invested in what the interviewee and what they have to say
Hands down one of the best interviewers! I feel like he makes Mike feel at ease. Mike's stories make me want to learn more about his true character. I feel like he was so misunderstood but he's a genuine person with some past demons.
i dare anybody to steal one of his birds now and slapping him with it after killing it. on a serious note though...i really like this side of him. makes him very relatable since im a zookeeper and birds are a huge interest of mine.
Krizefugl and back then as well, he beat the guy up lol
Damn a zookeeper. That's such a cool job
Someone stole his tiger once.
I wouldn’t, he’d almost certainly have a more forgiveness based response and I can’t stand to see that kind of thing happen to people like that.
Thought there was a crazy, iconic, and maybe even mythological story behind it: One of the strongest in the world started because of his love for a sensitive, cautious animal. Nice to hear the full story, thought there was a type of symbolism behind it. It would be a good story. Heres the story.
Nothing at all wrong with loving birds and caring for them. I feed them everyday and mourning doves are some of my favorites. they will keep you calm because if you arent calm, they fly away easily, and this makes you reflect upon yourself more than the bird.
Mr bensinger, your interviews are masterful, your choice of questions, and clam manner brings out a refreshing truth in your guests...I wish you the very best and I will continue to enjoy your hard work 😎👍😃
I used to think "oh it's easy, just have to shut up" , but when you have people this interesting saying very interesting things, it's hard to not blurt out questions and interrupt before you forget it.
I can totally relate to everything he's saying. I've been in love with them since i was in middleschool. Many years later still the same 🕊️❤️
and then they try to pretend this man is a animal, he was just manipulated he is a beautiful and that all that matters , you probably would also byte to sobrevive specially if your oponnent was full of roids..... this guy is a good soul i dont care about your hate.
Don king made him an animal
guss did.
Da Big Man Himself 7 Guss?
tyson was definitely on roids as well

I like that Mike is bashful about his pigeons, it's kinda cute lol no homo.

There are pigeon flyers where I come from as well... it's really a love and passion for birds. A hobby of many men, which provides joy and relaxation. It's not as uncommon as one might think.
Mike Tyson truly is a very gentle and loving soul, which shines through in this interview.
So heartwarming the childlike bewilderment of Mike and his pigeons I love it.
Graham Bensinger is truly the best. I love his interviews!!!
Mike is just amazing. He's such a caring individual and he was manipulated so much by King is his younger years and he had a lot of trauma as a youth. I see it like him nurturing those pigeons growing up in Brooklyn and then all through his life as a way to provide that care that he lacked.
I wish more people could interview Mike like this
This explains why he has a pigeon coup in his backyard and a pigeon as a best friend in mike Tyson’s mysteries dope interview 💯

So much love & respect for Mike's humility. Today he is a complete person.

This side of Mike is amazing lol really wasn't expecting to hear how much he loves pigeons. Top interview
His love for pigeons is low-key adorable
He sounds like the most caring person you'll ever meet. I didn't know he actually had pigeons. Mr Tyson, if you're reading this and you actually do have a mystery squad, I'd like to talk to someone about how to submit an application.
