Also, the outfit recreation at leeds was absolutely one of my favorite moments from the year and deserved way more love! Anyone can film a festival but you guys create a whole universe and I love being part of it!
i think you're definitely in your head regarding ones like download and viewing it from a "content creation" aspect. videos like those which you'll always love to go to and you've done 5+ times (leeds inc) probably aren't going to be the ones which go crazy and bring in a whole new portion of viewers (like coachella etc) so i really feel like we just want to see you guys being yourselves and having a good time like you did way back when which got people into the channel. absolutely experiment with new festivals etc and everything but as a long term viewer i definitely look forward to the OG festivals as well so i really don't think you need to worry so much there
Couldnt agree more, i think for alot of people who attend the festivals its great to have a tpdtv video of it for when its all over regardless if its just a similar one to the previous year. So i don't think the need for always innovating is necessary especially at the OG festivals.
This year was amazing, the production and the different festivals elevated the channel for me, and i love the direction the podcast is going. Must be your most travelled year as well! ❤

Glasto is the best place and the best week ever, and as a TPD fan and a glasto goer its pretty easy to say that your video is the best glasto video on youtube, not many people do them at all and yours is just clear
as a non Yorkshire person, I appreciate the Yorkshire roadtrip video from 2022. I liked it very much. Glasto was superb with all the "5 Guys". I hope in 2024, TPD TV will get approached by great brands to sign more sponsorships & deals that will help the channel. only then, you'll be able to travel far, wide, especially across to Asia (Thailand, India, Nepal, China, Hong Kong, Japan) & Australia to create amazing content.

The chicken shop video was the first video I watched of you guys and then started watching the rest of your videos. I love all the festival videos as someone who has only been to a couple of festivals myself it's great to see what other festivals have to offer.
I don’t know if it’s on your radar already but EDC Las Vegas should be high on your list. It’s the biggest EDM festival in the USA and it’s truly a unique experience. Could be the next breakout video you’re looking for.
I'd like to suggest (although it may be too late for 2024) that you all take up the Ground Hog Day festival (February 2nd). If you've never experienced Ground Hog Day in Punxsutawney, PA, USA. It's a flipping blast. You'd be surprised who you may run into (could be a major movie star, world wide recognizable lead singer to a famous race car driver) just chilling and having a great time mingling with fans of Punxsutawney Phil (the most famous ground hog). It's just a whole week or a few days of pure hilarity involving fancy dress, beer, spirits, music and art in a tucked away mountain town. Thanks for sharing a part of you all's lives with us in Youtubia. (Since it's in February, it's a great time before music festival season starts).

Brilliant year for the channel, watched every single video and got three t-shirts so keep up the good work. My only critique was focusing too much on The 1975. I enjoyed the tour video but then felt like didn't need to see them on multiple fests as well, think Parklife it stuck out as was some dance bands could have seen instead. I'm sure you wouldn't say, but I've always wondered if you have an arrangement with group around pay. You obviously love what you do but the added responsibilities feel like they should be compensated.
They're a divisive band with a strong and vocal group of haters. Weird that TPD is never going to cover them again because that group made lots of noise.
From the perspective of someone who doesn't really care for the 1975, the tour video felt kind of unnecessary - they've featured in plenty of the festival videos already, I don't think they needed their own dedicated video too (plus it's always the same clips of the gang singing along, shouting about selling petrol, and crying). This is hypocritical of me to say though as I did enjoy the Biffy one previously, so take this opinion with a pinch of salt...
Something I learnt this year: Choccy & Mary MUST be in every Festival video. They’re the real screen time A-Lister stars. (In future Rob, please don’t shoot another crap video like this with that MOFO background sheet because it makes you look like you are making a hostage ‘help me’ statement from your kidnapper’s secret Terrorist bunker! Ty) 😉🤣
leeds fest I liked the first vid. didnt watch the 2nd. I understand showing two diff versions of camping but that you didnt have content where you met up with the others in first vid seemed weird for a bunch of friends!
