    A beautiful knife, but well above my pay grade. I run a Gerber Strongarm at a fraction of the price, with a far superior sheath system. I'd love to see your take on it one day. Good video!

      Totally agree! 👍 The Strongarm is fully capable and generally less than 1/3 the cost of the ZT. There are a handful of knives I’d recommend over the ZT and the Strongarm is one of them. I have a very loved, tried and true Prodigy with no serrations. Great knife! 👍 It is a solid utility blade and I have zero gripes with the 420HC. Zero Tolerance should do better as their sheath is completely wrong for deployment and an utter joke. It’s like they were completely focused on providing a super steel “tacti-cool” deployment blade and then realized they have zero real world deployment experience and just threw a crap sheath together.

    Congrats on 1k subs!🎉🎉🎉
    Nice knife, but for that price, the sheath should be way better!

      @@Anndyinthewoods thanks, buddy. 👍 Nice knife, but overhyped and overpriced IMO.

    It actually works much better than a scandy grind knife do:

    My favorite knife is the TRC Apocalypse. Green Micarta satin finish. The Lion Steel T-5 and B-35 are also great.

    I’d buy that knife if it had a decent sheath and the handle was just a plain full tang without that phony cap on the end.

    Do you know if it is full tang or is part of the tang milled out?

    • @blackhawkbushcraft
      @blackhawkbushcraft  2 месяца назад

      @@bobbie4862 great question. It is full tang, but skeletonized. If you take off the butt plate, the scales release and sections of the tang have been milled out for weight reduction and balance. There’s some dude who has a video of taking this knife apart and showing the skeletonized tang. Pretty interesting.

    Alright 1K plus subs!!! ROCK ON! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Great video and what a cool knife, totally get your rant 👊
    But come on man, can you put s price tag on the potential of a couple more nip hairs 🤔
    🤣😂🤣

      Thanks, brother! 👍👊 I’m stoked with the 1,000+ subs and excited to do the Fallkniven give-away!
      As far as this ZT knife, It’s a very nice blade, but they put zero thought into actually building a deployment-ready sheath. They were so focused on cool factor that they lost sight of deployment reality, which would make carrying this knife in their utter failure of a sheath an absolute no-go! But yes, I checked this morning and have at least three extra hairs on each side. Had they provided a functional sheath system, I’d have a full-blown hairy chest.
      At this point, great knife but there are better combat/utility knives out there and all deployment ready and at a more digestible price point.
