It’s great that this game is polished to hell and back but I just love the reminders that there is no such thing as perfect software and you get glitchy beauties like this
Its a very accurate physics engine, but the players have great accuracy finding bugs. Wonder if nintendo will be able to patch most of them by the time they stop updating the game... probably not.

the best kind of games are the ones that are super polished that if you play the game normally you won’t find any bugs, but if you’re a speed runner and go out of your way to find them, it’s a gold mine

One thing to note is that this cutscene can only be triggered once throughout the whole game, so unless similar cutscenes and/or repeatable cutscenes are found to also work, you've only got one shot at this, lest you reset your save file
Yep its crazy i just went to the top of death mountain and ive only gotten the wind temple
The Hudson Construction Sign Dude moves your stuff in a similar way whenever his sign fails/succeeds and it's too close to the sign. If his work for the glitch too, then that would be a repeatable instance since he does it on failure as well as success. No clue if it does work the same, but seems easy enough to test.

The speedrunning glitches are being uncovered, slowly but surely.

@@vedal1358most off these glitches will be patched and this one in particular has only been found to work ONCE as the npcs needed isent there again once uve done the glitch u cant redo it again
This will not help unless they need to get to some place on the overworld within seconds. You also have to figure how long it takes to get a glider from the beginning and bring it to that stable and what the end result is. Unless they can couple this with some horribly game breaking warp to the last fight, I see this contributing nothing.
@@RhumpleOriginal Any% is just one category. This will be helpful, at least to an extent, in, say, 100%, all shrines etc. Especially if a way to get it working more than once is discovered.

A "Broken" or glitchy game is the kind where the glitches or bugs significantly damage the player experience or are otherwise annoying. Having to fish for glitches in such a deliberate manner is like looking for the seams on a clothing piece, you're gonna find a way to break even the highest quality stuff, but that doesn't mean the product is broken or defective
Imagine it’s a normal day as an average hylian, and just then you see the legendary 5th dragon, the wacko boingo. It would truly be life changing.
And scary.
BUT… can you get a shard of wacko boingo’s spike??
@@speedyboy_13 No idea, the legendary Wacko Boingo is too fast to be caught, only a true master archer will be able to even graze it. Such, no great fairy requires their remnants, because as much as they want them, they know it is truly impossible.

I hear that even if a master archer is able to aim properly, for some mysterious reason, the arrows would suddenly return back to its owner. As if someone hit _rewind,_ but we still need to determine how Wacko Boingo is capable of this. Rumours say a rider can also be found on Wacko Boingo. Further confirmation is needed.

Most of the glitches I've seen so far of this game are ones that would rarely happen in a normal playthrough and even then at most you'd get a laugh out of it.

@@slyceth my guy. 1) this is a yt short, are you pausing it and playing the game without watching it??? 2) if you're doing glitches you should be far enough into the game to have those in your inventory. 3) he explains where to find them, they're outside of riverside stable towards the river but not completely 180 to the entrance.

The most impressive part of this was the fact that there wasn’t a loading buffer while you were travelling that fast.

Nice speedrunning technique. I'd give it 5 stars, and I'm sure Traysi recalled this strategy for speedrunners who roam over the modified kingdom.
Unfortunately, there would need to be many more spots or a way to preserve the glitched wing for it to be good in speedruns. And it’s just straight up not useful in any%. It would need to be an all dungeons run or something to be used.

@@firedell1031 someone posted a similar one where you put an apple on the corner of a plank and make autobuild spazz a bit for similar results. Obviously it stayed on the ground, but I'm sure if you use a wing instead of a board yoh can probably fly with it and no need two specific npcs.

I haven’t seen one glitch in my game. The thing is people are looking for glitches and doing setups that will make the game glitch, so that’s very different from saying the game is glitchy.
I can see this being used for many different speedruns and challenges (such as the manhunt challenge, once a mod has been made)

You can only do this once since they move after you talk to them!!!
I wouldn't really call the game broken if you have to do a couple very specific steps at a very specific location in order for the glitch to work.
And it only works once.
Have you heard of other glitches tho? There’s quite a few.
@@breesheyrough5722 all of the glitches I have seen so far have been very similar to this. They've all been ones that take very specific steps to replicate. So it may be a glitch, but that still doesn't make the game broken. Unless you have examples of one's that do just naturally occur, I haven't found or ran into any.

Also, in a time of impossible to play on day one games that also require massive day one patches just to make it semi-playable, games that are actually finished and playable like Tears of the Kingdom should get praise. im part of the glitch hunting team whos been experimenting with this, we barely know whats happening and its all speculation as to why this works, so i doubt nintendo will put in the effort to patch it when its a one-time thing that we dont really understand

Nintendo tried their best to ensure this game had 90% less glitches and exploits than BotW. Unfortunately their best had professional players that like proper game play and little problem solving and not absolute goofballs of America that do the craziest actions
Yes, Windbombs may have died, but in their death, a new Windbomb was born.
Big caveat, this can currently only be done once per save.

Honestly the fact that this game is so physics based and we're having to resort to like "this one cutscene can break the physics for you a single time in a playthrough" is amazing. Especially considering it runs pretty well on hardware that is basically ancient. Especially when so many other developers are releasing games these days with game breaking glitches that you can't avoid even if you want to.

people really calling it a broken game when you have to do 87 precise and rapid steps to do a certain glitch all to save 6 milliseconds
Entirely unrelated glitch I found while playing casually, that I don’t think anyone else has discovered yet. I, for some reason only date knows, couldn’t figure out the Fire puzzle in the Lightning temple (I don’t know how I didn’t figure that out. I still don’t remember the fire ever turning off. My brain just shutdown for some reason), so I used ascend to cheese my way into the upper level. It worked well (other than the fact that Riju was stuck behind the fire, but luckily I found the switch to turn it off rather quickly), but throughout the whole thing I was thinking about ascend, because it’s actually really useful, as long as you remember it exists. Rather than climb up to the second light puzzle (the one with a tiny platform and no other access point) I tried to ascend onto the platform rather than climbing the wall. I slipped my way into the boss arena. Thinking I’d just skipped the entire temple, I popped out… and nothing happened. The fight doesn’t start unless you have the puzzles completed. I just sat there for a minute, then reloaded my save, and climbed the wall with my head hung in shame. I don’t know who made the dungeons, but whoever they are completely forgot about ascend while making the Lightning Temple. As far as I’m aware, none of the other dungeons have a distinct boss arena, the rest share the boss arena with the terminal to access the boss, other than the fire temple, but you can’t get under that one, and the spirit temple, which is in an entirely separate location from it’s boss fight, and being filled with gloom, won’t soft lock you even if you were to get there early.

I just experienced my first glitch recently and I was flabbergasted.
I was fighting one of the big Yiga clan guys and he jumped back but just kept flying backwards. It was like he noped out of the situation
