Fantastic adventure. Thanks to you & Ted for sharing it with us. I'm older now, but I will say to all of those that are young & capable, go out and explore! The best part of the final video for me was your explanation of Type 1 Fun vs. Type 2 Fun. How true, that the accomplishment of Type 2 is so rewarding to your life and will leave you with lasting memories.

Thank you for the HOL series! It was my favorite series on YT. You inspire me to take on overnight adventures outdoors and I learn a lot from how you do it. That evening you arrived at the shack seemed like one of the most amazing experiences one could ask for. Excited to see more of your adventures!

Jim and Ted, thank you for bringing us along on a most remarkable adventure. Each week, I've waited anxiously for the next episode to drop. The raw beauty of northern Canada simply blew me away as did the sizes of the lakes and rivers you paddled. How fortunate you were to be able to experience it so closely and lived to tell about it. Given the conditions you faced, the photography was amazing. Congratulations on this achievement. I don't know how you'll top this one but I look forward to being along side when you do.

I enjoyed this whole entire adventure with you & Ted. My favorite : sunsets, seeing the Balugas, the aerial views, the scenery, & Ted's canoe survived this trip. I loved Tolkien too. Glad you both are home now. You can see the changes in the land, the waters, the wildlife, & know all the animal tracks. It's been educational & a learning experience too. Thank you for this video. How much impact does climate control have to do with changes you've observed throughout this adventure?

I am blown away on how this adventure has taken place, by far my favorite RUclips adventure presenters right here, I just saw the 11+ hour videos of this series and I guarantee I will watch it again as it is action pact and one of the highest quality films that youtube has to offer... sorry Jimmy, teddy does build a more quality fire than yourself... just saying, but I love both of you. Without Ted, this trip would not be pure gold my friend! I have watched most of your videos, good job on getting Tory in the paddle spot, I appreciate you and your efforts with your family. Not easy to raise a child with a condition, but you and your wife manage the best you can. Much love from a fellow Canadian, stuck in the Philippines due to covid and passport issues. LOVED this! Well this adventure start to fantastic finale was "beyond" an adventure....what shall we call THAT? WONDERFUL WORK JIM AND TED! You are two incredible brothers in the best of ways! Thirty years or so ago...was considering assisting with restoration of the Inuit huskies by adopting one or two or three... lol.... and amazingly was at a local festival where a dog came up to me, pushing hard at my knees and the lady holding him, said that he didn't typically do that... I was thrilled but even more to find out this WAS the dog I was considering from way up there north at Churchill...one of the last taken from the ice floes that was rather in jeopardy. At any rate, Churchill is such an amazing place in the world. Love the quiet beautiful places in our world even now that time has passed by me, way too quickly...THANK YOU so much for sharing your journey!

I have enjoyed every second of this adventure, from the rapids, fires, fishing, bears and brotherly fights, just amazing. The time it must take to not only execute your plan, but to record such great footage. Thanks for sharing as always, much love from Central Missouri USA. Can't wait for the next one.

Epic Journey, Jim and Ted! Beautiful wildlife encounters.
I cannot imagine what it feels like to emerge from such astounding wilderness after 25 days and meet civilisation once more.
Thank you both for your courage, strength, humour and gift to all of us, your thousands of imaginary friends ;~))

You’re welcome! I’ve been consists you posting videos every week but this adventure series with Ted is over. I did a shorter, Algonquin Park Trout fishing trip with Ted a few weeks back that we both filmed. This summer I’m doing a big solo adventure in the Yukon.

What an adventure! I watched several of the videos and now this last one with your long trip home. Everything you went through - just amazing. So much energy, strength and just plain will power it must have taken to accomplish such a journey. Thanks for sharing all the beauty of the waters and land. I live in the US and it was wonderful to see the Canadian wilderness. Best wishes.

Pretty crazy when you think about it . Great series as usual guys ! Thank you for sharing what others only dream about . Luv yah's !

Hey there, finally submitted to the questions necessary to be a you tube person in order to support your channel. I’ve watched all of yours and Ted’s adventures. Love them. I have a 14’ Mohawk solo and will never do the things you guys do, but you certainly inspire getting out there. Thanks for showing us wilderness we would never experience otherwise.

Jim.....I came across your channel by accident about a month ago and immediately was hooked on this series. I am a Manitoban and feel northern Manitoba is one of the most underrated places in North America for how amazing it is with its landscape, as well as many other reasons. I introduced this series to my father and him and I really loved every episode. You seem like a really good dude and I enjoyed this documentary. Thanks again for sharing. Looking forward to your future adventures. All the best!

Tried to hop the train from dam on the Nelson to Churchill in 1981 but train was 8 hours late. So we continued south back to Thompson. You show Churchill as a nice play to visit. Thanks for you unique perspective.

She’s not a thief she’s just kind of messed up in the head. I would bet that her intentions were to pay for everything but she became so confused and everything went to hell from there. She probably shouldn’t be out alone under certain circumstances

That was quite the journey. It's so tough to say what my favorite moment is. Running the whitewater is definitely memb=orable when your boat took on some huge waves. Great footage all around. Camping on the eskers and seeing hudson bay with the bears and whales, that must have been incredible to watch. And then the final wolverine, how cool is that! Thanks for putting in the hard behind the scenes work to make it all enjoyable. Oh, and that caribou skull is really something to remember the trip with.

    • @JimBairdAdventurer
      @JimBairdAdventurer  2 года назад +1

Thanks a lot, we ya the catamaran seemed like it was so long ago by the time we got to the coast. In Churchill we tried to get export permits to take the skull out of MB and found out that you can’t take caribou antlers out of MB, all other let’s you can and all other provinces and territories you can so we had to leave it but the conservation officer kept it and said he was going to put it on the wall in his office.

I now long for wilderness adventures and solitude, the anticipation of what lies ahead and the thrill of not knowing what's around the next corner. I'm sure that my adventures won't be quite as epic as yours but you have inspired me to at least go out and find some.
    Thank you Baird Brothers.
