They are both SATA drives, as that is the data and power connector they are using. The first drive would be a 2.5in HDD, and replacing it with a 2.5in SSD.
It’s always a good idea to elaborate on what you see on the motherboard when you disassemble a unit for RUclips. What ports you see, speed and size of memory, available empty ports. Also double check your camera location when making the video. Along with what you are seeing.
Now compare that to opening an imac, this is so much easier. These are 4th gen i3,i5,i7 machines with DDR3 1600MHz. You can buy them often cheaply now. With a SSD drive it should be pretty zippy, apart from 3D games because you're limited to the builtin video intel HD. I know the i5 is the S version to use less power, so like 5-10% slower than the desktop version.
Hello friend I want to ask a question, on the motherboard I see that it has an nfg_pcie port, can I install a ssd m.2 2242 to use it as main memory to install the operating system on my aio 9030? I would like you to help me ... Because I see that this port is empty and the fact that it is close to the hard drive makes me think that if it can ... I wait for your answer thanks
@@LuisGarcia-wf4xo Apparently that port is only designed for a wifi PciE card. It can work with an m.2 if you mess around though. Look around the internet for info.
Best practice would be to set your computer on an anti-static mat, while attaching your alligator clip to the Vesa mount. The suggestion of using a towel is a bad idea since cotton can retain static electricity. If you don't have a static mat use a dry piece of cardboard, since cardboard is non conductive to electricity.

If it can be used that way, you would need to right drive. They have both sata and NVMe type drives. So you would need to know which to get. Even though the port looks the same, drives sometimes are not cross compatible.

Thanks a lot, you did really easily. I have already changed my SATA. :D
Good video. I was looking for screws that didn't exist. LOL, weird having a AIO that has no screws at all to change the hard drive. Thanks.
+Pattern Break yup, but Dell makes the AIO like that so when Dell tech support comes in to replaced a part it’s an in and out process.
Thanks. Helped me in a bind. Easy peasy lemon squeezy
+BTNHD Awesome video!👍 great info!!
tnx man

if actually you didn't find an answer, you need to update the BIOS to use that port with a ssd drive

Not internally. But they do make external gpu boxes.
