Will be interesting to see if Discord's intention is to copy the functions of what third party bots have been doing that in part has made what Discord is today, or if Discord makes competing products at a cost, so not killing the bots but making it more competitive maybe and options for server owners.
I agree, it's going to be interesting to see how this plays out over the coming years. I definitely feel like they'll be charging for certain Clyde AI features once it's fully launched, but maybe they won't! The features we've already gotten (automod and onboarding) are free to use so that's cool to see. Will be cool to see if Clyde is powerful or not upon full launch, because right now it's very limited
@@Gehsture free to use (for now)?... maybe to test it in the open first before slapping a price tag on it or on an expanded version, or maybe you're right that Discord are giving us stuff for free, but I'm sceptical tbh. Its almost sounds like give the server owners free stuff as they build the communities and Discord monetise on the community with nitro, but if there's money to be made 'n all that...
