I run a Discord and I normally have new members Direct message me first as the initial contact once they join. Will they still be able to Direct message me?
I'm actually not sure if they can message *you* first or not. I know you can still message them, but unsure if they can message you first, you would have to test it out with someone and see. Alternatively, you could just setup a ticket system where users create a ticket directly in the server, thus keeping all communication there and further reducing someone trying to impersonate you and scamming members. Bro I'm setting up a discord server. I've added jockey music bot in my server but it's asking for administratior permissions and now I can't lock that bot in music category. It just works in every category like gaming general etc. Please help brother I've tried to locked in from integration settings but it didn't work please help or provide alternative bots fir music please:)

When Pause DM is active. Can people still DM directly for existing friends?
Yes! Friends can still DM and staff with admin perms can still DM members
