Denise! I smiled so much at how excited and breathless you sounded at all the goodies in the subscription boxes, I thought I would have to rush over with an oxygen tank! LOL Glad to see I am not the only one who can be expressive at times. There must be some French blood in you somewhere - hahaha. Ohhhh but your "yet to be seen" journals looks d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!! Haha! Bring the oxygen! I was in a shop years ago that had some of those Bella Notte bedding samples… and I was totally enthralled with the samples that I was going “and look at these… and this color!! And these!!!” And my friend came back from the other room thinking I was joking around 😂😂😂 it was too funny. I do like pretty fabric bits 😁
The Uniball pens are great I have different colors in them including the gold. Pretty picture today. Love the pink and blue. Have a great week.😊

Beautiful Denise! I have the TooliArt earth tones in the fine nib...absolutely love them. The white Signo pen has been my pen of choice for years. Never lets me down!

Try removing the yellow collar on the pink pen! I have pens similar that needed a collar removed to let the ink out. Beautiful paint day and wonderful haul. I love all the fabrics and laces, makes me wonder about cutting up and dying some of the pieces I have. Thanks Denise!!
Oh! I’ll look closer and remove that collar. I’ve not had one like that. The fabrics were so good. If you have some pieces you don’t mind sacrificing - they would be fantastic to use! Thank you! 🥰
Tooli art markers are great. I have 4 boxes in my Amazon ‘save for later’ list. Bullet tips and fine tips and they have brush markers too. Fun video today! 😊

With the stencils, it looks like the smaller round ones would fit into the middle of the larger stencil.

What a fantastic video! You have really inspired me ❤ I'm trying to be brave and try out some mixed media and Rebecca is already a huge inspiration for me..... I bought her book and I have her calendar and postcards in frames on my walls! I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing the tutorials on the sneak peaks you showed us! In preparation I need to invest in some acrylic markers so I will be buying those you recommended ready for Saturday morning when I plan on an indulgent morning of playing with new supplies!! Ok, I love this page. However, of all the colors copic could have made, why pink. I am very excited to use the matte black. I love the uniball white pen. I am glad the color cube does force me to use a paint color I personally struggle using. I am more excited you use that pink, lol. Sunday enabling just began with more markers. That set is so pretty. You have to remove the yellow ring on the Kuretake brush pen to work.

I love those muted earth tone colors! Can’t decide between medium and extra fine. Now that you’ve used them, which would you recommend, for mixed media art?
I think I’m going to love that medium size for most of my stuff. I like white and black in the fine point, but don’t look for the colors in fine really when I’m painting. ☺️
Hey there do you have a video talking about India’s inks vs acrylic inks vs watercolor inks? Trying to learn- my goal is for use alone on wet paper to have it spread or flow, or use on top of water color paints, and again flow spread nice- I already have acrylic inks but not sure if I should get the watercolor inks or India inks or both- u thought you might have used all 3 😅if so thanks 🎉🥰🎨
I don’t have a video comparing the 3… I have a few watercolor inks… not my favorite… on the India inks - I just use the black for mark making… I LOVE the acrylic inks - so you’ll mostly see me use those! 🤗🎨☺️

You’ll love it!! I’m using the scraps in art journal covers, will also be using some in collage work, or on art journal pages, or in junk journals if you do those or want to do those, I also sew - so I might use them in some small projects like pouches for some art supplies, snippet rolls - I did snippet rolls in one of my book classes - and those have lots of art journaling uses and they are just pretty to display! 🤗

Denise, that dark pink kuretake brush pen looks just like the gold one I have? I think you will have to poke a hole into the inner tube to release the liquid? I had to on mine. Let me know if you have to do that?
I bought mine thinking it was the zig gold pen you have? I wish kuretake would make THAT item available if they are releasing other colors in the brush pen. I covet that zig liner gold pen lemme tell ya!?
