Zero! I always find your book flip throughs so informative. I really liked the Edgar Payne book you recommended a few videos back. I can't imagine why anyone would be mad about Patreon! Do what you feel is right for you.
Never feel you are rambling, Michele! I'm sorry the storm affected you... losing my power is always a big concern here, aside from the worst! Please stay hydrated, and I hope your power is back on again soon... I hope everything gets back to normal soon. Hugs!!! ❤️⚘️🙏
@@reeseosbornestudios Hi Reese! I have been thinking of you! I am so glad you are okay! Thank goodness we just lost power again but our neighbors suffered a lot of damage and our area is flooded. Thank you so much for your kind words. ❤
Thank you for introducing me to _Edward gorey_ and the _mystery_ tv series with Gorey's artwork used in the intro. Tim Burtons _pee wee Herman_ movie is.... Enjoyable. Tim Burtons artwork similar to *Joel peter Witkins* photos of the _unusual_ . Kim Jung gi (rip) What a _magnificent memory bank_ & Amazing illustrations from the Korean craftsman. & It's good to draw from real life/ real world and from imagination. The tree and tombstone look excellent. Stay happy everyone
Zero!! Thank you so much for sharing this! I loved watching the whole video! It makes perfect sense, what you said about practice. Also, I love what you did with the toned paper! I love Zero and Tim Burton's "Universe" so if you feel like doing more using that "Universe" as inspiration, for the Halloween season coming up, don't be shy! 😅 Thank you!
Thank you, MissJay! I love that you enjoyed it. You will definitely see a quirky TB inspired Inktober coming up. My stories on Instagram will be my launching place for those if you wish to see that. Wishing you joy! 😊🎃🍁👻🍂🖋📚
Zero. New suscriber. I don't like to draw from my imagination I like reference material even for the smallest thing. I love this artwork here particularly the shapely tree and tomb stone. I don't do inktober but I love to see other artist doing this thanks for sharing 💜 😊
Hi Deborah. I do a bit of both, and some plein air, as you will find out if you hang out with me more. Welcome as a new subscriber! I believe in getting inspiration from all sorts of places, so I think it's great you enjoy watching others. Have a great week. 🙏🖋📚👻
I love your trees!! Looks like zero effort on your part lol. Have to say I’ve watch a couple videos about inktober and felt anxiety! But as soon as I turned yours on I felt myself relax! I can do it my own way! I’m going to try the walnut ink to improve that skill and add gouache or watercolors when I want. I’m with you the prompts box me in. Can’t love that! So. I’ll draw every day but may not finish a drawing a day and I’ll do what I want maybe 1/2 imaginary 1/2 realistic. Basically just have fun! Thanks Reese. I look forward to next weeks video 🎉
Judi! You are always one of my favorite cheerleaders! Thank you for your support! I so agree with you...you could just do daily abstracts and play with your material. I hope I don't shock you with my dark, spooky content... lol. We'll resume normal operations in November. 🎃🍂🍁😳🖋👻
@@reeseosbornestudios Absolutely love the spooky side! I’ve never watched Nightmare Before Christmas but love the lanky skeletal guy. Nice to meet his dog. I’ve gotta see it now! The name Zero has to have a story to it lol
Nightmare is very different but clever, i think. I cnt say i loved it right off. It was an aquuired appreciation of his creativity. There are a lot of catchy songs that I love, like "Jacks Lament" and "What's this"... That said my favorite Tim Burton movie is "Sleepy Hallow" if you are looking for seasonal movies to watch. Have fun inking! Hugs
Zero! I love to draw from my imagination. ! find it less stressful than trying to translate an image from life-life drawing and get all the proportions correct. And, I'm with you about prompts and rules.
Ah Christina, it sounds like we are kindred spirits...lol. I drew from my imagination most of my young life. I will say that when I tried balancing it with real-life observation, I improved. I think Kim Jung Gi is a perfect example of that. I'm all in about breaking some rules! 😆 happy fall! 🍂🍁🎃👻🖋
Actually, I'm reading "Uzumaki" right now...lol. I'm loving it thus far... I'll probably be sharing it soon... Thank you for your kind comment... Zero is cute no matter where he is, I think. Lol... 👻🍁🍂🖋🎃
Love NBC!!! and your tree's are amazing BTW

Zero was cute on the tombstone. Also, if you're into manga style horror, I'd recommend Junji Ito if you haven't seen his work yet.
