Hi Lindsay, Supraja here! I absolutely loved your review and just wanted to quickly pop in to answer some of the questions you raised. Firstly, yes, we do offer both the jute and cork covers in A5 and A6 sizes: - A5: 5.82(w) x 8.26(h) inches - A6: 4.1(w) x 5.8(h) inches We’ve had indeed taken your feedback to heart and made the activity books in the kit less detailed than our previous coloring books. All the illustrations are completely new! Zero repeats from past designs. One more thing: each page in the activity book is perforated, so you can easily tear it out to hang your artwork or gift it. It’s a simple way to personalize your space, and I think it makes the kit a perfect gift for anyone who loves to switch up their decor from time to time. Oh, and you have nothing to worry-we still stock the Travel Kits! We simply took this opportunity to experiment with more sustainable materials for a limited edition product. But the vegan leather isn't going anywhere anytime soon! I loved getting a peek into how you use your travel kit, especially the laminated sheet with washi tape-that's such a clever idea! I might just steal tip that for my own kit! 😄 Thanks again Lindsay for sharing such in-depth feedback and supporting us every step of the way!
I always love your reviews. You test everything and are very informative. I always re watch the video when I'm deciding on my next art purchase. I can't wait for the Christmas shopping ideas. Thanks
Those look like wonderful sets. I like the cloth with the zip best, style wise. I couldn't get one for myself because I am sensitive to scents, but you're right, these would make lovely gifts. I so enjoyed your sketchbook flip through; you are such a talented artist.
Nice review! Thanks for showing the designs, so we can choose what’s best for ourselves. You’re right, they’re ideal for college students! Or anyone, really. Hmm. ❤
WoW, juniors already Lindsay!! Time does fly!! I love my original blue kit for Inktober sketching and on the go quick paintings. Great review; thank you!🎉👍🏾💜🙏🏾👏🏾🤩
Hullo Lindsay, thanks for the quick looksee! I have used Peerless and Viviva both of their sheets but I’d rather use a smaller travel pallet with pigment colors because you simply never know when you’re gonna have that wonderful picture do you want to treasure and cherish and may be frame and I don’t recommend doing that with dye based colors. I like the sustainability factor and that you can reuse them over and over again yours looks well loved and well used! Thanks again for the video!
I love the Viviva sketchbooks too! I haven’t used their color sheets very much, but I should use them more often! These sets look very fun! Thank you for your detailed review! 🎉
Very nice set of items, but I couldn't do the incense. I think they should go with your idea to make that optional. The folios look awesome. Thanks for the nice review.
I appreciate your review. I cannot tolerate fragrance, so glad you mentioned how strong it is, so I imagine zipped pouch will contain that fragrance. Wish they had isolated the incense from the other products. I love seeing how you upgrade the items you take with you🤓
Thank you so much for the detailed review. I'm new to viviva but have wanted them for awhile and jumped to buy this set. Loved your comment to use the back of the coloring pages for original work. That didn't occur to me for some reason but it's a great idea!
These are good gift ideas. Warning about the ohto pens - glide like buttah, but take about 48 hours to become waterproof unless you heat set them! I have a love hate relationship with mine…. I keep forgetting to heat set it. I am in trouble, I just saw Mijello is releasing 56 granulating watercolors. I have a weak spot for Mijello, it was my first pro paint.
@@thefrugalcrafter you have a lovely collection. You use it, so it is a practical collection. Seems like a better idea than collecting beer steins or tooth pick holders!
I love the Viviva sheets. But, how do I keep my hands and paper somewhat clean?? Especially the magenta, I get smudges of it everywhere. I don't care about my hands, but the paper I'm working on gets so sk messy. Is there a trick to avoid that?
Do you have the older set where the colors fo right to the edge of the page? If so try the new one es, there is a border so you don't touch the psint. I'm messy and don't have trouble with the newer design.
@@thefrugalcrafter It has the border, but the magenta is still terrible. I have had them for quite a while. Maybe they changed the formula? Makes me a little sad though, I love them, bit it's the reason I tend to avoid them...
I liked all these until you said it comes with incense, ugh I am allergic to most scented stuff, can any of these be ordered without the scented stuff?
Oh! Don’t light the scent sticks! Unless they changed them, they aren’t meant to be burned, like incense. Only smelled as is. It says in the fold out info sheet not to burn them.

Glad you like them!
Glad you mention lightfastness even when it’s just a meditation coloring project where dye is fine. :)
Absolutely!!
These are charming kits. I love the cork folder ones. Thanks for showing them to us.
Glad you like them!
I think the meditation kits would definitely make a great gift for someone special. I would love to receive one for sure! Thanks Lindsay.
You are so welcome!

It would be great if Viviva could accommodate the people who are sensitive to scents by making those scent sticks optional when ordering.
When I was a beta tester I recommended that.
Thank you for your review! These are the first viviva products that look appealing to me. The zipper makes a big difference.
I totally agree! I also think the jute fabric will be more durable.

So true!

I know!!
I have a cork purse and it's very durable. That being said, it depends on how its processed/made by each manufacturer.
Thanks 😊
Thanks for a very good review. I enjoyed seeing your paintings! I hope your father is healing! Thanks again.
Thank you so much! It's a process, he is still in the hospital.
This is a very cute idea
For those who already have the travel folio, the refill sketchbooks are on sale!
Nice!

I bought these during the Kickstart! Looking forward to sharing with friends!
Lol. I love how careful she was not to show the qr code and the entire time it was visible in the corner of the folio. ❤ So adorable.
Oops!
@@thefrugalcrafter I thought it was so funny. Thanks for sharing this review btw. It was very thorough. Great product. 👍

I bought the cork travel one, it’s nice. I don’t use coloring books so I also bought the sketch pad that fits in it.
Nice!

Great review! I think I will purchase one for my mother in law who is in a retirement home.
Good choice! You might want to remove the fragrance sticks if she is in a co living home as the scent is lovely but strong.
Very fun and I agree these would be really cute gifts. Enjoyed!🙂
They're so perfect for gifting!
These are adorable! Thank you Lindsay
You are so welcome!
Thanks Lindsay, lovely kits!
You are so welcome!
They are on sale right now, $40, and jute or cork covers are both available in either size! Also amazing deals on multi sets.
Good deal for such a useful kit!
They are so cute!! Thanks for sharing ❤
You're welcome 😊
Hello, Lindsay. Thank you so much.
You are so welcome!
These look really great!
The review was fantastic thank you💕💕
You are so welcome!
Wish they had done a zipper on the cork.
Same
Looks very fun,I don’t have any Vivia yet,hmm looks like I might have to get some😊 Thanks Lindsay

Thanks for the warning! I'll have to keep my eyes out for the mission gold (or maybe hide from them as I have an obscene amount of paint as it is!)

Lindsay…. Think you made a booboo in the title of this video. You have MEDIATION instead of MEDITATION.
Oops! I'll check now!
What type of paper is in-between the paint in the colorsheet booklet?
Glassine
@@thefrugalcrafter thanks! Under "Glassine" it is asking me if I want it translated to English!

Yes, go to the website and look for the regular folio kits. They are blue like the one I showed at the end.
It stank so badly, it filled two rooms with it's "fragrance" even after I threw the sticks away. I've had to get rid of it all.
So I went to the link and the price is $13,955 USD ??????????????????????????????? = 😶
😆 no, that was the Kickstarter funding they raised! They are like $40 each or $65 for a bundle:)
@@thefrugalcrafter oh, okay, never heard of that..thank you !

Good to know! My beta tester set had a cork insence burner.
