After 46 videos and 76 subs, my entire life has changed. I still love my daily job, but now I finish my work quickly, help others and schedule my hours post work to do my YT stuff. I am so happy with my progress. I wish everyone ALL THROUGH 🍀 IN THE WORLD! Keep posting!❤
I have seen the push of smaller channels as well. My feed is sprinkled with channels with small sub counts. I actually go out of my way to watch an entire video from a smaller creator. Its good to see.
I opened my subscription feed, and this pops up. I’ve been documenting our travels, and doing nothing with the footage. Recently I had to record a video interview, and saw that it really was easy to record, edit and publish. Fuck it, I am starting a channel today - we’ll check back in a year how well I did. Thanks so much!❤
I just started youtube and I am excited every time I see my channel even though less views and subs, hopefully to get that boost! Planning also so get into long videos.
Love this! We've totally been seeing more small creators recommended which is amazing for the next generation of RUclipsrs! It's awesome to see small channels with huge potential.
I started my RUclips channel wanting to bless others, but I’ve also been blessed with the community I’ve become friends with.I also love to hear from new viewers how some of my videos have helped them.
I am still in early stage and with starting a RUclips channel I learned so much and grew a lot as a person, will push myself out of comfort zone and grow even more, you guys helped me a lot with your videos.
I am just starting out and I know I am going to grow big bit by bit.. Your tips have already benefitted me in starting out, can't wait to change my life and do what I love to do.
I started a channel in 2009 but I just started making videos. My first instructional video "How to Use a Gospel Tract to Lead a Soul to Christ" will be posted soon. My first video was a prayer channel dedication video and it got traffic. It has 333 views. I gained 67 subscribers from that video and a 30 second update video. If it wasn't for ThinkMedia, I wouldn't have even known where to begin! Thank you for everything you do!!
God bless you! I'm planning on starting a similar channel of my own, where I'll turn the talks I've given for my church youth group into videos. Praying for you! May we lead souls to God with our message.
I think one of my hurdles is finding something I'm passionate about. One reason I started this channel is because I like making people laugh with my videos. The problem is that I invest SO much time into one short animated video, only for most of them to not be recommended by the algorithm. I got super lucky with my first video but since then it's been a struggle. I feel like animation just isn't profitable and I want to start a new channel. But I need to find something I'm passionate about and something that will bring value to people's lives.
Just started my channel. Currently just hit 500 subs. Cigar asmr prep, and toasting shorts. I'm loving it. I should have started my RUclips channel 3 years ago. It not too late! Wishing yall success !
I am seeing videos with 20-40 views being recommended to me. These videos are in my areas of interest. This is a good initiative of RUclips to bring authentic people to the system who may not make the best videos but have good and authentic content.
Love this! Just posted my first video on my channel. Have already learned a ton. From feeling very awkward talking to the camera to editing, glad I was able to finally start and a big reason why is because of think media
Starting new channel can be really tough if you don't plan everything ahead. I knew I couldn't afford to waste months trying to get noticed by just a handful of people. Instead of spending months to get few hundred subscribers, I found how to get organic growth immediately (by using a bit of Famester of course). Ever since I started using this tool, my channel blew up and I realized that people tend to focus on numbers when searching for content. Having a low subscriber count often means being overlooked, even if your content is top-notch...
Making videos for RUclips has definitely changed my life, but surprisingly not in the ways that are described in the video. It’s more of a mindset change. A lot of things that I learn, or think, or experience, can be useful to other people as well. And adding this lens of “can it bring more value?” made a lot of it more satisfying. Especially my work, that I was not always happy with: now it’s a source of motivation as well!
I can add some more on your video , this is so true : 1000 subs and got a 2K$ brand deal and also got invited to London as a speaker to the biggest event in my Niche. RUclips legit changed my life (think media isnt paying me to write this, its just the truth).
I’m coming up on a year next month. Been consistently posting once a week and I put thought into my videos. I know they aren’t the best but I’m getting better. I still have very little subscribers 🥺 it’s starting to feel like I have to spend money to grow. Take a class or pay for help on SEO idk. It’s discouraging. I don’t even watch for fun anymore I watch to learn and still I’m not where I thought I’d be.
@@diginandpitchin I’m glad to know that I’m not alone in this. I truly try and it’s been very discouraging. All of you who have replied to my comment have given me the confidence to keep going. So I am 🙏 God bless

The only reason I haven't started a RUclips channel is, I can't afford editing software and the only cheap or free options I'm aware of, are unusable. I went to film school, so not knowing how to edit, isn't the problem. I work part time for minimum wage. I have the time, the ideas, the plan. What cheap/free editing options exist for people who just don't have the money for the options they would choose if money wasn't an issue?
Great video. You hit on some points I had not thought about, giving me more reasons to start my RUclips since I have been thinking about it for over a year. Thank you!
It is such a nice change. I've noticed that youtube really pushes out the impressions during the first 24h , so as a creator we "just" have to make appealing packaging on our videos and let the video do the rest of the work.
I have a separate RUclips just for my music/DJing, but I haven't really done anything with it yet (it used to be this one, but its more of a personal one now; might make this one focused on gaming?). I'm currently unemployed and have been since the beginning of this year, but I think I'm just in my own way of getting things started. I think for me, it's just stepping out of my comfort zone; especially since I'm extremely introverted.
Your last point about personal growth hits home. As a small channel just starting out, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm awkward on camera, don't know how to script, and I've only got my phone and a tripod. Nevertheless, I'm eager to document this beginning phase in all its immaturity. I want to grow with my audience and document my journey. All I have is my authenticity, and for right now, that's enough for me. I can only get better from here, but no matter how far I go, I never want to forget where I came from and why I started. Thanks, Nolan & Think Media!

Thank you for the video, it's very helpful, as always. 😊 I have a question and would be very grateful if you could help me. I want to start uploading monthly horoscopes, a separate video for each of the 12 zodiac signs. Is it ok to upload 12 videos in one day and then have 1-2 weeks without new videos? Hello!. I just started RUclips & still learning. I would like to ask.. if I’m not monetized yet, can I earn from affiliate marketing already? Thank you in advance.
Yeah, hopefully I’ll get my channel there one day
I just started 😅it hasn’t been that easy but I’m enjoying the process 🥰. Big RUclipsr soon (manifesting)💌
Been posting consistently for around a year and I want to hire an editer, where should I look?
Excellent, thank you.

Hello. Thank you for all the information you share here, very helpful.
I have a question. I have started a channel. My aim is to post text only, no camera no voice. How do i do that?
Thanks
It has changed my life!
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for the video! I just started posting videos since February and I am struggling so much to grow.. It seems like my videos are non-existent 😅
Great video
hei hello, just now i visite your channel , why you stoped upload new videos? but , your channel was going well
Thanks very much for your support. I really appreciate it. The reasons for my video delay was because of my busy schedule at work and my personal matters. Thanks to your warm words, I think I would have motivation for making more videos in the near future. Have a nice day!
@@julieanhngoc yes, obviously. I really like your videos. hopefully more audiences like you and your videos. i am waiting for your videos in the future. It was feel good if I connected with you on any social media as a follower or subscriber.🥰
@@tufajjolhossensiyam thank you very much 😊
They aint recommending my small channel lol....
What is your personal vlog channel name?
Am I kind of jinxed by having a RUclips channel with about 50 videos I made for work (I run a Speech Lab) and just started creating videos for myself? Does having a number of videos already with no real traction harm me, even though I have about 140 subscribers who rarely watch anything I release?
Thank you I uploaded my very first video yesterday 🎉❤
This year I will be more focused on my journey and improve my editing skills. Thanks for the advice. Hope my 7 subbies will turn to 17💐💐
