- What do you get when you have a Euro 5 Enviro 400 and couple it with an air raid siren? You get WJ65 BZC of course! Otherwise known as bus 536 in the Go Cornwall Bus fleet (Run by Plymouth City Bus), this beauty boasts a ridiculously loud turbo that can be heard from about a mile away, and that's no joke! This thing is absolutely mind blowing!
Enjoy ;-)
With thanks to my good friend Jordan for filming the external view shot!

Love the purple lights! Not bad for a 5 year old bus
Sounds like a proper machine. In the last region of the video! 😱
TheLegend_Lee I know right?! Thanks for watching 😊
gosh those interior lights are effed up
I miss this - I’ve had 536 a few times on the 12. Sings through town 👍
Nice one! Sounds amazing!!
Glad to be part of the making of this video.
Absolute beast of a turbo on that hahah!
its not the turbo whistling, its exhaust pipe fitting to the turbo whistling as it is leaking
Bloody hell
The buses we have, here in greater Manchester ( Wright Street Deck Double Deckers) , are fitted with the same engine ( Euro 6 )
Transmission options include :
- Volvo I Shift
- ZF Ecolife 6 Speed Automatic Transmission
- Voith Diwa 6 ( 6 speed Automatic)
Much more quieter then the Euro 5 engines .
A SIX speed Voith?! Got a video of one?
Love it when buses sound like this, certainly adds some character!
Have you any videos of Tridents coming up ?
Enviro Explorer I certainly do! I’ve got Euro 3, 3 speed Voith ones on dual carriageways coming up and the same with some Euro 4, 4 speed Voith ones!
Yes looking forward to them !!
Alot better than the Econospeed 14 plate Enviros in Leeds/Halifax as the ones we have are sluggish up hills
Run one out of the garage on a cold winters morning, twice as loud!
Yeah i’ve always noticed that they’re at their loudest when they’ve just been started up from cold!
leaky boost pipe, explains why when you get up on the rpm (when boost increases) the sound increases... easy fix but will result in loss of power if left
This is a leaking turbo pipe, it is not connected properly causing it to whistle.
