80 years young and he's still out there performing and kickin' ass these days!
One hell of a career filled with not only too many hits to count, but he still enjoys near universal respect from all of his fellow musicians worldwide!!!
Not bad for a skinny kid from Texas!!!
Not only a great career, but he changed his style many times. I did not like it necessarily, but he made tons of cash, (oops. Remember your cash ain't nothing but trash) meaning, he knew how to keep it together, change, keep up with with the times.
Good morning my friend
I was a teenager when I first heard this song to
But am still listening to this music in July of 2024
I saw him and the band on this tour. So damn good. Unlike other acts of his age, he still had it.
I love the Steve Miller Band. 👌🎙🎶🎼❤️🇺🇲With 80years on Stadge that,s so Amazing. 👍👍👍
Wow, his voice was still so very good here. Great song, performed flawlessly.
I just heard Rock'n me from 2022. and it's still brilliant! Amazing
Heard this in Philly a few weeks back I think he’s about the same still
One of my favorite songs from him. It only gets better with age
Great version of a great song! 😊
To stay safe and sane, listen to THE STEVE MILLER BAND!
right on
At least not to be asleep like the sheep... (; Absolutely love these Guys!!!
This was sooo good! Glad I found it. Steve's voice was great. His music definitely brings back fun high school memories❤
Missing the Band at Red Rocks, Colorado this Summer. Don't retire Steve (you're too young anyway). Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing the band at Red Rocks 2021!!

HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can't because you cut music education to save on property taxes
@@draneym2003that's a cop out ! There are tons of lessons on RUclips. Do it !
Loved seeing this really good version. Can't imagine how Steve and Sonny Charles got together but glad that it happened.
Two greats on the same stage.
Sonny Charles is singing, presumably, not on the Keyboards.
Getting goose bumps on my goose bumps! This is how its done, kids!
Somebody get me a CHEESEBURGER!
Awesome
SOMEBODY GET ME A CHHEEEEEESSSSEEEEEBURGA!!!
Saw them in Nashville last year with Mavis, outside venue. They were great, especially Mavis
Gettin real, Stevie Miller.

Definition of kool
Go Gordy!
I remember Tim singing this. Dang! He left way too soon. Great memories of your band playing at the Matrix, the SF State Folk Festival, the Fillmore and the Avalon in '67!
Who was Tim?
I started listening to this band constantly only today.
@@viniciusgmachado1204 Tim Davis was the original drummer in The Steve Miller Blues Band, which dropped "Blues" when they started recording. Tim was on the first 5 or 6 albums. He also did some vocals.
'
@@SkipWay And he died?
If so, when?
@@viniciusgmachado1204 HEe died in 1988, long after he left the band.
@@SkipWay I’d say that _is_ soon, but I still don’t know how old he is.
…Wait, he was only almost 45?!
Oh, gosh. He _did_ die young!
Oh, well, thanks, dude, for politely answering my questions. Most people just meanly tell others to just look things up, even knowing that they would’ve done so we’re they not too utterly lazy.
I love the video that goes with this classic
Lookin forward to seeing them tomorrow, gonna be lit!
Great thanks for posting.
Fan depuis ma jeunesse, toujours la même pêche. Super !!!!🎸🎶😎
Changed some of the lyrics. More patriotic and less of a protest.
Like the OG better, everybody's kicking sand!
..... "Lefty Muderbach is up ahead.
All hope he’s running right… he moved way ahead of the Howard Cam Special...and...he takes it!...the winner!..
...Lefty Muderbach...on the street side!"
Awesome!
One Summer day in 1970 (or was it 1969?),, at a concert at Anfrews Ampitheater (University of Hawaii, Manoa), The Steve Miller Blues band was set to start playing. I was close enough to hear the drummer wonder if the audience "would be offended" by the opening song. It was titled "Your Old Lady," as I recall, but it became "Living In The U.S.A."
Why aren’t there more comments below this video?!
loved you since Kow Kow Steve
Somebody got him a cheeseburger but where's that Howard Ganz special taking the win and speeding away?
Everybody's kicking sand.
Man, Steve still has the voice, whew. He's backed up by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band here, looks like Steve Lukather on guitar, but, I don't know? 🤔
Go USA
Love that voice and still super jammmin’!!!
Hello. How are you doing today? Thank so much for your love and support ❤️🤟🎸🎶
Covid wrecked the new Summer season for Steve Miller.. 2020 all shows cancelled.. STEVE,, DO A PAY FOR VIEW LOVE YOU STEVE Y BOY
Somebody give me cheeseburger!
Hugely Underrated!!
@@Coleswindell562 I'm great! Thanks for asking. I saw you in Toronto a few years ago. I'd love to see you again.
@@Coleswindell562 I have WhatsApp
@@Coleswindell562 I just installed Google chat. I'm Teresa Burnside.
Is this fantastic gig available on cd, does anyone know? Us Steve fans in the U.K. have just about given up on seeing him live again but this would be a great substitute.

I think Steve is the only one of the original band to
Steve Miller is the only remaining member of the original band
The cheeseburger part should be left out. Where the heck did that come from?
The cheeseburger comment is on the original studio recording at the ending fade out. I believe Steve said it because cheeseburgers are as American as mom, baseball, and apple pie.
Cuz what's more American than beef and cheese between two buns?
!!!,,,,,
what an underrated singer guy fully rocks,,
drummer is great ala ginger baker guy can flip a groove beat into swing in a blink of an eye
Hello. How are you doing today? Thank so much for your love and support ❤️🤟🎸🎶
We're living in plastic land!
Wish he had Les Dudek on lead guitar 🎸.
No bass player ?
Everybody kickin Sam?
Tu tu-ru-tu tu-tu
Living in Ukraine 🤘
No way he is singing about the USA in 2022
To me, this is you BEST song! It should be Trump's mantra when he runs again in 2024! God Bless! (a fellow Milwaukeean)
Not a KA-mal-a voter.
Ok there’s this then there is the original version ruclips.net/video/UmLLC-dCQgE/видео.html
Compared to the album version of this song, this totally sucks ! The album Version is very Funky and is done with conviction ! I would compare this version to a Limp Dick ! This Drummer Sucks ! He has absolutely no Funk whatsoever ! These guys are just going through the motions ! I absolutely hate it when Bands can't even come close to the original recording ! This absolutely SUCKS !!!!!!!!!
