For middle class or poor people from 3rd world countries, many have no option but to move and work in developed countries. They have to work there to feed the family back home. Cuz the wage is a lot higher in dubai for the same amount of work in our own country.Many will move back to homecountry after making some money there. So even if the social economic class difference is huge in dubai, they atleast give many opportunities to work. They ain't forcing anyone to work there. So it's helping many people. But yh things can be a lil more better. Maybe it will in the future. I love how u r honest about the pros and cons.

Maybe your mom can bring you a kombucha scoby when she visits you or have one mailed to you. Brewing your own kombucha is a process but you can flavor it however you want! You mostly have to be patient while it brews....And you have access to the Arabic teas to ferment for it! -Maria

As an American citizen, regardless of where you live on the planet, you will have to pay federal income taxes to the U.s. government on money earned. I'm not sure of the %, because it will depend on the tax bracket that you fall into (based on your income level). Also, if you are a resident of a state that has state income tax, you have to pay that too.

Vanilla extract might be unavailable because it's base is alcohol. In Egypt we have vanilla powder instead for the same reason I believe. It's something to stock up on in the UK or for you, the US. Nobody would ever say hello in an elevator in England 😅 although if you're out in nature walking people would. Funny.

Respectfully, and I can understand your fear after being attacked in the USA. That's horrible! To clarify, while it's not illegal to be homeless in Dubai, many survival actions, like begging or sleeping in public-are unlawful. This highlights the issue: punishing survival tactics instead of tackling homelessness itself. We need to focus on solutions that address the root causes, like poverty and lack of affordable housing, to truly help those in need. As opposed to de-humanizing or brushing the problem under the rug or essentially to another living area outside of Dubai that creates the illusion that the problem doesn't exist while it runs deep.
Loved your video! I’m from Toronto and I am arab I went to Dubai in November I loved it and I want to move but I’m having trouble obtaining a work visa. I am a flight attendant right now love to travel I’m just over canada how did you get your work visa?
She has her own business, therefore, she was able to apply for a work visa on her own behalf. My advice is, start a side business, and try to scale it overtime. I'm from the U.S. and it is very easy to start a business here. I imagine the same is true in Canada. BTW, I loved visiting Toronto (though I haven't visited since 2018).
if you love the nature in Dubai, you should visit Oman!! so many beautiful beaches and mountains, the sinkhole 😍 you would love it there. It’s more conservative than Dubai though. Also the separate spaces for women! so many people say it’s sexist and it makes me sad.
Girl, cleanliness, safety, and faith. These are things you can’t really understand until you live in an environment that prioritizes these qualities.

Loved your video! I’m from Toronto and I am arab I went to Dubai in November I loved it and I want to move but I’m having trouble obtaining a work visa. I am a flight attendant right now love to travel I’m just over canada how did you get your work visa?
She has her own business, therefore, she was able to apply for a work visa on her own behalf. My advice is, start a side business, and try to scale it overtime. I'm from the U.S. and it is very easy to start a business here. I imagine the same is true in Canada. BTW, I loved visiting Toronto (though I haven't visited since 2018).

if you love the nature in Dubai, you should visit Oman!! so many beautiful beaches and mountains, the sinkhole 😍 you would love it there. It’s more conservative than Dubai though. Also the separate spaces for women! so many people say it’s sexist and it makes me sad.
