@@JakeTheVictini well they were doing a course with more laps with Baby park, can't imagine it being harder to reprogram it to say "Final lap" on the second lap
Having played Double Dash I was shocked and appalled to learn this track didn’t make MK8, it’s a superb track and could have anti-gravity elements easily installed to make the most of MK8’s mechanics!
I’m not sure about that, waluigi stadium would be more of an outcry since Wii fans always Whined about the booster pass. But even if I don’t like this track, it felt somewhat deserved for a chance in 8. Maybe it’ll be in Tour later on at least like lakeside park.

@@Ajk8628.Reviews. Hey buddy, no new content is coming to Tour, Nintendo ended Tour shortly before the Booster Course Pass ended. Which means there's no chance any new tracks get added to that dumpster fire of a game
@@AlfonsoSRT I just noticed that too, but I think maybe some new gimmick building off anti gravity could probably make this track a lot more better if they ever remake it, even if I don’t like the GCN version.
Fantastic work bringing my favorite GCN course in 8DX! The way you implemented anti gravity to the majority of the inner dome, the more frequent hazards over the original 2, and the increased scale of the course is the kind of direction I want for when it is officially brought back. Thanks for letting me see the potential of a modernized GCN WC!
“3DS Toad Circuit” is easier to handle on a mobile device. Remember, the only remade Rainbow Road Tour didn’t add was the N64 version because its situation is similar to this track’s problem with lap count size. Same thing with “N64 Wario Stadium.”
@@FlaminHotDecoy You probably don't like the game itself (which is fine). All the courses in MK7 are actually good for a painfully average game like that. That game would've been way better if it had more features and a better roster.
This is my favorite track throughout the whole series and this track was hardly updated and it is perfect for Nintendo to make it an official track. I am glad I could see what an idea could had been.
This is really really good, the only thing it’s missing are glider ramps. I also think this track could’ve been split into sections like N64 Rainbow Road
I just thought of an idea, we switch rosalina's ice world to be the 2nd track for the acorn cup, then we add dk mountain to be the 2nd track for the spiny cup and replace it with wario colosseum from your mod
antigrav lends itself well to the track. i kinda wanted to see the artist go a little creative with it, like putting a corkscrew to upside-down section somewhere in the dome section, i mean it's the sort of thing Wario would totally do. still, a good conversion.
Just wanted to point out: The camera shot at 0:08 was ALMOST identical to the sign "WALUIGI STADIUM" over the starting banner. If you could angle it a bit to the right more and hovered up a bit, it would've catch a bit of detail. Nonetheless, this is an AMAZING remake!
Finally, a remake of this track that actually looks official! Your remake of Mushroom City was good but this is just next level. I still can’t believe we got Dry Dry Desert over this.
Not only did they decide to bring back Dry Dry Desert over other much better GCN tracks, but they also removed the two elements that made it somewhat interesting (the giant Piranha Plant in the sand pit and the giant dust devil at the end)
honestly hope Wario Colosseum gets into Mario Kart 9 when that eventually comes out, because my god it looks so much more fun with the wider feeling track and tighter controls of Mario Kart 8, plus other than the turquoise borders ripped straight from the GCN track (which is understandable, there isn't an alternative for them in MK8), this is gorgeous, great job
I only have vague memories of Wario Coliseum from playing Double Dash at a friend's house a few times as a kid, but I remember it was a banger. And man, you knocked this one out of the park! Just watching this on my tiny phone screen, I could still feel the exhilaration in my chest from all the tight turns and sharp drops, plus the anti-gravity was implemented _perfectly._ In an official version of this track, I'd love if the ramp over the pit at the very end was a glide ramp that forced you to weave through obstacles as you flew (like more fire bars or something) so that going over the pit and around the pit were equally challenging options. Heck, I dunno, flood the lower level of the cage with water on the second lap and have it form a dangerous whirlpool as it gets sucked down through the pit like a giant drain. Lots of fun options for a modern remake of this course. Anyways, amazing work! Feels like I'm watching actual beta footage of an unused MK8 track.
Se nota que esa pista fue hecha específicamente para Mario kart doble dash jamás hubiera funcionado en Mario kart 8 deluxe y ninguno de los anteriores a este 😮
This is a very quality mod. There's definitely minor aesthetic issues (though the mod page says the lighting is fixed now) but under the constraints of a mod it's definitely had a lot of thought and work put into it.
I like how they’re able to hack the rom to recreate an entirely new track, but not capable of editing the course title console name string for some reason 😂
The track itself is amazing, but I think my favourite aspect of this is how it stays faithful to the design of both Double Dash and MK8 by having a whole separate world going on in the background, what with the field and cityscape in the distance. Even the Booster Pass tracks didn't do that, which is a shame because looking for little details like that is really fun.
Not bad, but I think they might change things up a little more when they actually remake it. For one, I think it will probably be overhauled into a 1 lap, 3 segment course. Also, I think they would probably make that 2nd jump (the big jump into the dome) a gliding section.
Version 1.2 is out: ruclips.net/video/Ewz7DDKVabA/видео.htmlsi=_blGSxdf4kHlTEBs
Such a shame this one wasn't in the DLC... glad someone took care of it though, great work!
Realistically? I think it was due to Lakitu's sign lacking a two-lap counter. But I wholeheartedly agree with ya.
@@JakeTheVictini well they were doing a course with more laps with Baby park, can't imagine it being harder to reprogram it to say "Final lap" on the second lap
We got Wii Daisy Circuit instead. Man...
That's not a bad thing at all... We can be pretty sure that this will be one of the best retro tracks for Mario kart 9
It’ll be in the next Mario kart

It's not really used, though, but yeah.

And of course can't forget about the abortion known as Rosalina's Ice World
No, it was the Wii courses that replaced potential GCN ones. We were supposed to get four GCN courses originally.

Better quality than many of the DLC courses
More like, way better than every single BCP DLC track
@@nolanjthesupergoanimator2909 "every single" is an overexaggeration, but yeah, it looks fantastic
It unfortunately has the plague of having the item sets being W I D E for no reason in custom tracks, wish creators would stop doing that.

Man this should have returned as a booster course pack.
I'm convinced at this point, no one at Nintendo gives Wario the respect or recognition
Its only "smelly, garlic, farting man"
I thought a Glider would work on the Big Jump but I guess it would work on the Big Jump over the Pit.
thank god we got TOAD CIRCUIT BABY instead of this
I hope this gets added to Mario Kart X or the next Mario Kart

If Nintendo won't bring more Double Dash courses to the DLC, fans will do it themselves.
I mean.. it’s just Wario colloseum with no changes… why not drive on the top of it or upside down or something
We were so robbed. Could have had this for the DLC but no, Waluigi Stadium and DK Mountain needed re-makes. Again.

Nintendo, que te costaba sacar esta pista en el MK8 Deluxe.
Amazing job, this is hands down the most impressive ct in all of MK history
I prefer this course over Waluigis stadium and it never got remade. It looks awesome by the way I'm glad to see it.

I remember how much I loved this course and I imagined a play set of it 20 years ago, probably a very long race Track too being why its just 2 laps
Bro really said “fine, I’ll do it myself”. 👍
This track HAS to come back in the next game and needs to get a great HD-visual remake

This custom track of Double Dash Wario Colosseum further proves that it should have been included in the Booster Courses for 8 Deluxe.

ANTI GRAVITY🎉🎉🎉
Let's be honest this track would be like MK7 Rainbow Road if it got remaded
If this gets implemented into the next mariokart game they'll probably section it like N64 rainbow road, 2 laps alone seems long
As much as I love Waluigi Stadium, I prefer this timeline.

I think if this becomes a retro track, you will basically be doing one lap that counts as three.

the lighting is a bit wonky and the fence(?) texture on the ground looks a bit stretched, but other than that it looks fantastic!
