Can Naloxone really save anyone?

  • This video wasn’t planned. It just happened and after some hesitation I decided to expand on it and share it.
    I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where the use of hard drugs is widespread and overdoses happen far too often.
    Some voices have been advocating for the widespread distribution of Naloxone as an antidote for overdoses. Should you have a Naloxone kit ready, just in case? Should average citizens who are not connected to the drug scene get trained to administer this potentially life saving injection?
    I give you my perspective, Feel free to comment!
    Please note that I’m not trying to judge anyone, but I have a problem when someone’s questionable choices affect others in negative way.

    Naloxone isn’t an injection; it’s very safe and easy to give naloxone.

      The kit that is pictured on the thumbnail is an injection. Those kits are very widespread here. I'm aware of a nasal spray, but don't think they have it here.
