This is the nicest roasting ever
Righttt!
Yeeee
I love this
It's not even roasting, it's more like constructive criticism .
Right, it should be called praising other peoples work :D. But oh well, it would be mean to ripp peoples work to shredds. So thats fine.
I love how constructive your critics were, but you also let people know that if they like what they did and they mean it to be a stylistic choice to just keep rocking. That’s dope.❤️❤️❤️❤️
OMG! Thank you so much for the feed back Temi and for even considering my artwork to be in your video. I would’ve never imagined this happening and I appreciate it so much. 🥺❤️
Your drawing was amazing! I wish I had your talent
You’re so welcome!
@@dexington Thank you!!

Me 😀
Same . I got a few likes from her and I was super hyped .
Spaceboyrobin here lol, thank you so much Temi for your constructive criticism, and thanks for being kind about my drawing :D I know I'm not the best lol, but I'll definitely take what you said on board, especially when it comes to my attempts at portraits :) I agree that I held back too much with the shadows and layers, I didn't take many risks with Richie, I drew him for my mum's friend and I was worrying too much about messing up. Should've just gone for it haha
wow your art is amazing!
@@cool-gk7qm Thank you so much :)
@@robblesmusic your welcome!:DD
I love your art! :D
@@m1_ku754 Thank you so much :)
So many talented viewers and submissions! Exactly how I imagined Temi's "roast" too. How to actually help someone improve without destroying or hurting the artist. Well done artists, and well done Temi.
I love how she’s so straight with people not just like trying to make people feel better like most people are
“Oh it’s amazing good job I could never do that wowwww!”
She’s like:
“It’s great! But here are a few things to improve on: *lists things*”
Wym? She is extremely nice with her critique. These can get really mean. It would make me feel better if I drew like this and she gave me critique. Isn’t that the point? To get critique.
I don’t understand what you’re trying to say- read my comment again but
s l o w l y
I’m not hating I’m saying I like it-
Yeah it's not fully negative but not super sugar coated it's like a perfect mid ground.
@@trixxartarchive7705 yeah I hate when people are just like “omg your so talented it’s perfect and I can’t believe you did that!” When the truth is there a lot of imperfections
@@isamuchan-onbreak2116 also kinda hate it when people say "this is terrible" and don't explain why.
This is the kind of "trash talk" that keeps you motivated for improvement. Please do more of these!!
Thank you for checking my work! (Oilpaint8 one lol) I'm trying to improve my drawings bc I'm used to painting. I just got some prismacolor pencils. I need to improve my blending bc it's very scratchy looking. Also hands are the devil to draw lol. Thank you for the feedback!! ❤️
Keep it up!
Her nose is very different then other parts of your art. Like more rendered and more blended.
The nose looks finished but the hand does not really finished yet. Or looks like another looser style or drawing.
Not hating on you. I like both styles. Just looks like 2 mixed drawings 😅
The roasting was calm.
It’s very constructive and helpful unlike some art groups that just roast for the joy of doing it.................they can’t even draw themselves.
Omg!!! @art.by.natascha here! Thank you so so much for the critisism on my drawing! This really made my day and I will definitely work on the tips you gave! Thank you Temi!!
Temi thank you very much for choosing my art! Thank you for your tips , I really appreciate that !I ❤
You're welcome!
I'm so happy you got to my drawing 2:48 . And thank you for your advice. I knew some things were off with it and this really helped me understand better.
Wow you're really talented🤗Loved your drawing,keep going!!!
@@youtubechannel8908 thank you so much❤
I dropped everything for this! Even though I don’t have Instagram I love this idea! ❤️
Ayee hope you enjoy
i think you're just the most consistent RUclipsr...keep it uppp
This what I expect when I hear "constructive criticism" some people just full on "you messed up here, there, and there. " like, ok and 😀
I couldn't wait for this ! its finally here
Ayeee hope you love it!

I am a super beginner in portrait. Do you have videos about how to draw a face? I am struggling at the moment (sorry for my english, I’m from Switzerland) I love your drawing style and your videos already taught me a lot. Thank you so so much for everything. 😊
First of all I wanted to say thank you for criticizing my art. Your critique will definitely help me to improve. I hope there will be more parts of this series because I really enjoyed this video. So again thank you and keep on staying an inspiration to us🥰🙏🏼
Omggg your subscribers’ art is amazing!
It makes sense tho since they have an awesome idol/teacher like you to learn from and look up to!
@Nessa Drawz hi
I LOVE this series, I think it's really informative and nice to see the areas that other people are struggling with and how to improve. I mean yeah Temi, we love you and we love your art, but we already know what to expect from you, so having you look at an art peice you didn't do and getting a different perspective is an awesome change. P.s. we still wanna see your art though. Lol
**cries in not having instagram😭** plus i would of ruined the talent i'm a newbie🤡
OMG TEMI TYSM 😭😭 (I’m @pigassodraws). I am actually in shock, thank you so incredibly much for the compliments/critiques it really means so much from someone of your artistic skill level!! 😌☝️
You’re so welcome, keep shining!🥰❤️
Your artwork is amazing
@@dongsicheng170 thank you so much!
I've been looping your section. Incredible work 😍😍😍😍
I'm SO uncomfortable with portraits and colored pencils, but watching you (and your fans) really makes me want to practice more!! I love my stylized work but improving my eye for proportions can't be a bad idea :)
I like Temi, because she doesn't just dis your art and make you feel bad. Temi is nice, and give you tips and constructive feedback on what she thinks can be improved. We need more critics like Temi.
I really like this new series! I don't think I'll be submitting anything, but I absolutely love seeing the diversity in all of these pieces and hearing your feedback on each one. I love how you compliment them first before giving constructive criticism.
But yeah, love the series! Hope to see you continue it!
This is exactly what we need. Family and friends will just be kind and tell us our art is amazing but that’s not helpful. Temi is kind but gives amazing criticism and ways to improve. More videos like this one pls Temi. ✏️👩🎨🎨
Temi: I’m roasting your art !
Also Temi: *is as nice as possible and does really good constructive criticism*
This is really inspiring to watch. I love seeing everyone at different stages of skill and seeing the good in all stages. And your gentle but actually helpful way of critiquing the art is an encouragement.
i LOVE that Temi smiles when she says someone's work is nice. She really means it, and her improvement advice is actual helpful! she doesn't use language with finality like "this is wrong" or "this could be better". She gives measurable suggestions, and she says HOW to do the improvement she is suggesting.
it's also REALLY important that she acknowledges that sometimes, that might be what the artist is going for. i wish more teachers were like her. she's making me want to draw again!
can we take a minute to appreciate how nice she is about all the art? i love her sm
9:25 looking at it, I think it’s that the palm of the hand is very plump and the fingers are more spidery which kinda disconnects. It would make more sense if the palm were thinner or if the fingers were thicker if that makes sense
It’s a mistake I’ve made a lot so my brain is just like “haha I do that”
Yess love these can we get a temi. Tirades on why artist are so underrated!💖💖💖💖💖
Even though I only got to see my picture in the video for a second or two, it was still really fun and informative to hear the feedback on all the other drawings!
Congrats on 94.4k
Thanks so much!
It's amazing how genuine this girl is. That's why I love her.
6:00 Wow, this drawing is really amazing!!! The skin is SOO smooth, and it contrasts so nicely with the dark hair. To the artist who drew this piece, beautiful job!!! 🤩💕
This video is really good in giving insight into how we should look at and approach art. (Especially for a complete beginner like my self) ❤️😌
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing artists featured today! Your areas for improvement Temi were great and will be considering them with my own art. Your feedback was done so beautifully that they can’t not feel inspired ❤️
Was so looking forward to this one!! I love that your advice is so helpful regardless of medium. for instance, I learned some important things I can apply to my watercolours through your critique of a coloured pencils piece, like blues and purples in shading and paying closer attention to how light interacts with different angles of the face.
amazing video, thank you so much
“You don’t wanna shade in ✨One Direction✨”
I love a random directioner in random comment section
our directioner army is strong 💪
The way that she was so sweet the entire video 😪❤️
How do you sketch from a reference photo? I really struggle with the sketch
You could try to trace the reference photo onto the paper and also use guidelines to map out stuff
Learn anatomy and use grid method
Look at the basic shapes in the picture
✨Step 1✨ First you trace it directly on to the reference make sure you mark where the joints bend and things like that
You can even do it in different colors of you like ^^
✨Step 2✨ take away the reference so you can only see the outline
✨Step 3✨ put the outline of to the side so you can then draw your own (because maybe you might want a different body type or more stylized)
✨ Additional ✨for parts that are more complicated or you have trouble Drawing you can trace them over again as much as you need
Also when you have your character you can use it for Shading reference
I hope this Helps :3
Try the grid method, measure out boxes/grid in pencil with ruler all the same same onto reference pic then also draw out the same size boxes onto your normal paper that u will draw on(same size boxes) theres also website thats can do this but if what i just said made absolutely no sense just ask haha hope this helps x
This was great! I enjoyed hearing feedback. It helps me look at my art from different angles. Thanks. I'd love to see more videos like this.
I absolutely LOVE and admire how you deliver criticism! In art whenever we master one area theres always a new goal to reach which can make it feel as if success is always out of reach. Which is why its important to look back at what drawings do well and strive to improve which you do perfectly!
ive been waiting all day finally a new video! all the art works were amazing! cant wait to see the next video!
everyone's work was amazing omggg
Ikr!😍
You should do this more frequently, like every Saturday or so. I really enjoyed this! Can't wait to see more :]
❤️ Yes, I like this critiquing … very helpful. Your channel is great. I use color pencils, kind of just beginning, and I’m a getting a lot out of your channel. A lot.

I am so excited for the first episode of temi trash talks your art
You roasted the arts so nice!
The message in the hands holding each other is such a beautiful message ❤️💯
The dislike (s) (but hopefully not more than one) is from some mean person who got mad because the roasting was to kind💖
Yes temi! Been waiting for this one!❤
Hope you enjoy!
this was such a fun video to watch, and you were so sweet and your criticism was so detailed and nice. would Love to watch more ❤️❤️❤️
I'm guilty.😬 I couldn't decide which drawing was my favorite so I tagged both lol. Im happy you saw it though!🙏🏾
Hahah it’s all good!
This was so helpful and I love how Temi applauded the artists and celebrated their art but also gave them some amazing feedback. she reminds me of a really good, patient and fun teacher. definitely would love to see more of these! ❤️🙌
edit: also can we talk about how Temi noticed certain things that once she said it, it was like woahhh. for example the beautiful drawing of the hands, when she said that the arms should have hair. i was blown away cause I wasn’t really thinking of that until she said it’s so true.
Hey beautiful lady. Your such an inspirational person. I draw caricatures and have drawn all my life. At the age now of 51 I’m starting to do more realistic portraits. Thanks for all your tips x
Been waiting! Tuesday videos are my fav 😁

Such an encouraging ‘roast’ ❤️ Constructive criticism is so valuable
Excellent constructive critique, I saw the points you made as you went along, brilliant artists all of them, if this is what they are producing now, the sky is truly the limit 👏😀👍😉👌
