Respect to you from Scotland Sir 🏴 🇺🇸
The most profound of his comments came at the end: “You don’t get your soul back - innocence lost”. That speaks volumes. Of all the interviews I’ve watched, this man still has some of his humanity left. It may have to do with the length of time (or lack of) he spent there, his outlook on life, the support of his family, or being the son of a WWll Ranger, but there is still a sparkle in his eyes you don’t see in vets that spent a full tour (or two) there. He’s managed to maintain a fairly positive outlook, is still in the fight with his personal demons, and not giving up. God bless you, sir, and thank you for your service.
After all these years, listening to you I found maybe some answers. Thank you sir.
