Yeah for a minute I thought they made an extended cut.
So two things.
1. How many people saw this coment and called you out anyways
2. Why havent you done interstellar.

I had the privilege of seeing this movie before it came out, and, like most of DiCaprio's films, it blew me away.
Inception is a well-made movie, filmed in about 6 locations all over the world. The directing was outstanding, there were only about two moments, maybe three seconds in total, where i noticed that visual effects were being used (of course defying gravity is pretty difficult).
The plot was very pleasingly intricate, with a twist-and-turn, keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat type feel. I noticed that this film had similarities with DiCaprios thriller Shutter Island (which i also enjoyed very much)seeing as it left you wondering what was real and what was not. It's great to see a movie with a thick and emotional plot and not just grenade-throwing action heroes who achieve greatness in the end.
Inception also has a very well-composed score, which to me was the finishing touch to a perfect movie. If you're thinking about seeing Inception, definitely go! Even though i was fortunate enough to see a free show, it is worth every penny you pay.
Truly unique, like nothing i've ever seen before. Christopher Nolan certainly covered new ground with this film and wasn't afraid to leave us hanging with a spectacular ending. 4kmovies co

The 5.1 Mix isn’t the same. It’s the original theatrical mix- as the Blu-ray Mix was altered from the theatrical mix to work better in a home theater- Warner does this quite a bit, which angers the fans, as it has less bass, with other elements louder than they original were in the theatrical mix.
Unless you listened to them both at the same time (which would be kind of impossible), you probably wouldn’t tell the difference.
Do a review for Dunkirk since it was filmed with IMAX 70mm film

Would you say this is worth a double dip? Specifically in terms of the HDR. I am a big fan but I'm not hearing it's a huge upgrade in terms of HDR. Resolution is something I tend to notice less of than HDR.

+AR Media None. I don't think it ever did change ratios at the theater if I remember correctly.

The Prestige, Inception, Memento, and The Following are the only Nolan films that don't have IMAX to scope changes. Despite Inception being filmed with IMAX cameras.

Inception is all time favourite movie. Hans Zimmer takes up the movie to the dream state. Unfortunately I found lot of difficulty in setting up the audio in my HT. The low end frequency was too so much swallowing the mid range and high frequency was freakingly harsh.
Yes it's my room acoustics that spoils the sound . Later I did lot of bass management works still I could not get the sound I heard it for the first time in cinema hall.
Dark knight rises climax fight, men in black opening sequence, anaconda opening sequence, man of steel, skyfall bond dodging bullet scene, all these are demo worth. Please add to the list.
Please review these to get exactly what an audiophile wants us to hear.
Do you prefer Dolby Atmos or the other audio formats if there mixed correctly

I just finished Inception and I don't think 4K made a difference. Too many soft shots, and HDR created this soft glow I didn't notice on the blue ray. After watching the impressive Dundirk I was let down by this one.
One movie I found impressive for only $8 4K Dolby Vision was Lights Out on Vudu. Not the best film but damn does it have some nice HDR shots. Skip to Chapter 5 when Rebecca goes to sleep. The red light hitting her body is damn impressive. Next skip to Chapter 12, hell just watch the rest if the movie and you will be amazed with the color pop, especially when the sister has the Black light. Again, $8 for the 4K Dolby Vision on Vudu.

I find my OLED looks better than movie theaters projectors (not including IMAX) as projectors can't produce inky blacks. With that said, Nolan has a lot of soft focus shots in his movies with Dunkirk being the exception. So I expected a soft looking film, but what I got on some scenes was blur with barely any noticeably uptick in detail. Essentially Inception is slightly better than the BR version, but slightly better was not worth spending the extra money for the lackluster improvements. Now if you want to see improvements from 1080P to 4K look at Lucy, Transformers 5, Mad Max, and Pacific Rim. All offered noticeable improvements over Blu Ray, demo worthy material I show off from crispness to HDR/Dolby Vision.

Man you need to work on your ratings, this is the nolans least 4k bluray in terms of PQ, many scenes are overcooked and faces are over saturated in many places. First 5mts scenes look incredible rest all scenes (many) are soft.
It's not even solid upgrade from standard bluray. My rating for inception 4k bluray PQ is 7
