Sharing skills is one of the most important things a person can do. For many reasons.
This was huge, the biggest help for me was when you were setting up the freedom civic you covered how to setup the cam and crank sensors in the ft550, this info was INVALUABLE to me as it allowed me to get everything setup and get a base setup to get it ready for the dyno. ill never forget that info and the fact taht you put it out there to help the community is beyond rad. and now this one is just another gem in your channel for information.

Jamie they make a adapter for that 240 plug that just plugs on the end to change that to 120 simple get them from any camper or RV sales place I was thinking instead of changing the plug in completely cause if u go some were their is a 240 plugin in will help run your AC & microwave more efficient plus iy will keep the wiring for getting hot and melting if you no what I mean no fires....

Now the remaining thing for me to have is a FuelTech myself...and the O2 unit. Can you use weird crank patterns with it? I'm going to do an EFI conversion on my FZR400 using a modified 2006-onwards R6 throttle body assembly (YCC-T E throttle) and the pulley has this 3 point 1 bar pattern on it and a magnetic pickup, all Hitachi. Before I would put a fine toothed trigger wheel and Hall effect sensor in there, there's the cam sensor to try and find a spot on the cylinder head...oh man...

Does the factory dash still work because you used a boomslang harness, or could you use a FuelTech harness and STILL have your factory dash work? I want to fueltech my S2000 but don't want to give up the factory dash, hence the question.

Forget wood use a sheet of pvc for the generator door.
Why would you want to choose semi sequential? Wouldn't that cause the injector to fire on the exhaust stroke as well as the intake stroke?

My question is what is needed with fuel tech to get rid of the distributor?
Once a crank sensor is installed on the engine, that would be the signal needed for the ecu to calculate timing. Only then can the distributor be eliminated.

Any tips on setting up fueltech settings for ls? Dont know how to configure some of the sensors, running a ft600 with a ls550 harness
they have all the setting for both style crank triggers . they’re pretty simple that way and the injector set up the same
so the crank and cam triggers settings dont have to be changed? Im specifically struggling to find if those sensors are rising or falling edge and what type of sensor it is. First time working on something like this so want to verify everything is correct before attempting my first start,
