This has been the most fun I have had creating music in a while! In January 2019, I put out a call to action, asking for community string and voice submissions on this arrangement. I am so happy with all the ensemble contributions and I am definitely going to be writing again for virtual ensemble in the future. I already have some ideas, but you can respond here if there's a particular track that you would love to sing/play along to.
Special thanks to all the ensemble members, as well as the brass soloists, Dan, Danny, and Marc who absolutely nailed their parts. They each have their own channels, which I have linked in the description.

That was one of the best covers I have ever heard on my entire life.
NGL, is like an orgasm for my ears, it sounds as epic as a Gregorian song.
It matches perfectly that melancholy and desperation that only Dark Souls or God of War can bring... But with an emotive feeling of hope.
I am in love with this song.
My only complain... Is that... It felt odd after minute 2:30, like... The song is meant to go fast and pump the rhythm of the beat... And in that part it felt that it wanted to be a more pacific kind of song, like Skyrim type of beat or something.
Other than that... I just felt is a wonderful master piece right here.

Never realized what a damn star the french horn could be
So thankful that Mitsuda made french horn the star here. Marc did an amazing job :)
That's only because people keep calling the horns in Hoenn's music (Ruby Saphire and Emerald) trumpets, when they are mostly French horns. Only the team leader theme has trumpets in the.lead.

What did you use for those amazing synths?
They are some pretty simple saw waves with a bunch of effects! e.g. panning LFO, randomized LFO on a band pass filter, tube saturation, etcetc :D
