    How do you get the heat shield lower bolt off? Do you have to take the lower engine mount bolts out first and raise the engine? What tool do you use?

    • @autolabpro3186
      @autolabpro3186  5 лет назад

      YES, so, once you get access through the bottom use a 17 mm (may be a 16mm so, keep close by) wrench...send me your email and i will show you the tools i used. rich@autolabpro.com

    I'm confused about the mounts themselves?? I looked on ebay and Amazon..Ebay has a 3piece kit that comes with the transmission mount too..the problem is 2 completely different mounts come up and neither look like what's on your table?? The middle is flat where u put the screw driver nothing sticking up its flush

    Great video, quick question. I just got my car back from getting new mounts and now my steering isn’t straight. Does the job require you to mess with any suspension or alignment pieces?

    • @autolabpro3186
      @autolabpro3186  3 года назад

      It could be...because the steering shaft is is disconnected for access... (if the tech did not lower the subframe)

    • @autolabpro3186

      Hard to say, because of different driving styles, location, conditions but…here in NJ, typically as 50k to 80k miles…that’s for Original Equipment
      And it may just be one (out of 3) that is bad but do yourself a favor and change them all.
