So, yes it sounds boring, but here I go: A little nailclipper - just for emergency cases (for a torn fingernail) and some Tempotaschentücher (paper handkerchiefs) and a tiny umbrella. And a piece of rose colored loden cloth, for which I have been searching for a matching fabric for sewing for quite some time. Its not the time for rose colored fabric at the moment.... (and I really do wish we had Goodwill in Germany.)
My Sonic the Hedgehog wallet, my chapstick and lipgloss, my claw clip, some midol/advil/dramamine I get frequent headaches and sometimes I get car sick, my car keys, multiple colored pens and a pencil, a phone charger, some hand sanitizer, and whatever else I can cram in there if I do please :) also if I’m feeling a little funky a lps friend will join me on my journey hehehe
I carry a little lavender scent stick that I bought due to being too easily pressured at farmers markets. But it's turned out to be so helpful! I use it like modern smelling salts - when I'm feeling anxious it helps me to refocus and calm down. Plus it's helpful for when things are little stinky 😈
As a 51-year-old lady i carry reading glasses, pain reliever, and a passport. Because u never know when u might receive a tiny message causing u to sprint towards the border.
Kathleen, an item I recommend you add is a small tube or container. I have a small plastic test tube that I keep for catching little critters (to put them back outside), or if I find a small plant I want to take home. I call it my bug tube and it goes wherever I go.
Omg this is WONDERFUL!! I love this idea so much, especially since i have been known to walk around stores holding ladybugs, moths, the occasional spider....lol
any time I needed my measuring tape at the thrift store I had forgotten it at home, but when I bring it I end up not needing it! The dilemmas of the measuring tape at the thrift store!
I wonder how reliable the m assuring app on a phone is for stuff like that? Tbh I just try the clothes on to see if they fit (in the middle of the aisle cause post COVID we don’t have change rooms in our big chain of thrift stores) but maybe it would work for you?
@@nefertitimontoya I have one for my keychain, but there's places I regularly go to that don't allow measuring tapes (not thrift stores) and they throw them away because it could be dangerous I guess so I then have to remember to put it back in my bag when I've taken it out which is why I then always forget it
I feel you about feeling pressured to carry a Mom Purse. My Mom is a wonderful person with high anxiety, and literally carried everything her anxiety told her anyone might conceivably need. Her huge overstuffed beige bags were like cinder blocks, and I hated them. I carried tiny purses for YEARS, until I realized that I was finding excuses to carry my messenger bag (out all day bag) because a) I'm a hedonist at heart, and want my comfort items available at all times, b) my tiny bags looked kind of stupid on my almost 6' glamazon self (IMHO), and c) I can leave a bigger bag half empty and only carry what I want! Now I thrift cool bigger bags, enjoy making them a part of my outfit, and have room for all the hand cream and books I want.
Your videos are a bright spot for me, making me feel like there's hope for greatness yet to be achieved as a silly girl just trying to figure things out. I hope you know how much your colorful, chaotic vibes have helped me to not only explore my style, but also rediscover my connection with creating art that I lost after high school. I haven't had the urge to just doodle something in years and your videos have help me to enjoy creating again.
I watched this the day after my cousins wedding where i just so happened to be carrying a vile of our uncle's ashes in my purse for the event. RiP Unc! Congrats Ging! 😊 thanks Kathleen!
What a lovely video ^-^ To answer your question, I carry two bags: a little cross-body bag, and a medium-sized backpack that will fit the little bag inside + some extras. All the absolute essentials go in the cross-body (cards/cash, travel perfume, chapstick, gum, advil), and the backpack contains some extras that are nice to have on longer journeys (such as: a granola bar, the book I'm currently reading, a little journal + pen, hand lotion, floss picks, bobby pins, extra hair ties, tiny travel deodorant, glasses case). Then I can gauge which one I need based on how long I'll be gone/where I'm going, and it's very easy + quick to separate the two when only the small bag is needed.
This year, I finally packed a small bag with all the supplies I need for thrifting. It contains: a small notebook (with my thrift wishlist, color swatches, measurments, infografics about vintage identifications etc.), snacks, uv flashlight, measuring tape, pen, tide pen, hand sanitizer. I´ve been hitting the flea markets and thrift shops like crazy this summer and the bag was very usefull - no last minute searches for the damn notebook any more!
Scarfs are also useful as extra lil shopping bags if you forgot to bring a tote, I don’t personally do this but learned it from a friend, and it works great!
I came to your channel for all the lovely crafts and thrifts, and instead discovered that our tastes in books are the most similar of all booktubers that I follow 😂 thank you for this lovely surprise 😍
I know I can always count on your videos to bring my mind out of its swirling chaos. For lunch today, I had left over basil and chive frittata. I too am waiting on books from the library. Thank you for cheering me up.
Vintage small keychain retractable measuring tape I have been using for years to help declutter purse, as well not lugging purse with me inside stores. Then I still my money in my pockets and ready to shop better and hands (shoulder) free
I conscientiously stopped carrying a purse when my kids were born. I’d had a life before…I found myself carrying my husband’s, my brother-in-law’s, all the band’s crap in my bag. I now carry everything in my phone case…glasses clipped on my shirt. Babies have their own bags so I refused to take that on. The Hubs (#2 best choice I ever made) carries a huge Fanny Pack akin to an old lady purse. 🌈🌈🦋🦋
I switch out my bags almost weekly or biweekly just depending on vibes or what i’m doing that week or particular days BUT I do carry a little retractable measuring tape, my wallet, keys, a little plastic container full of things little soap papers (i’ve had one too many little baby things of soap spill in bags 💔), chapstick and a color/gloss of some sort, a little case (the star pimple patch one) that has a mirror and a bit of room for a pair of hoops (you know, in case i forget some earrings) and some safety pins. That’s all off the top of my head. A pen and my journal/planner are also musts in bigger bag times :) Love love love this video! Not to get too deep, but I just got out of an almost 5 year relationship and you are just always so comforting and i’m inspired by you…and am actually moving to Maine in a few weeks! I started watching ya you in Mississippi, so i’m excited to have more of a feel of the weather and stores you go to! We don’t have Savers down here!! Sorry, that was all random and probably too much. Just needed ya to know how much I genuinely love this channel!!! 💜💜💜
Hi Kathleen! I also am not a big fan of carrying a measuring tape around at the thrift!! What I like to do is: I measured and memorized the length of my forearm from elbow crease to tip of my middle finger; I can use my arm (THATS ALWAYS WITH ME) to measure waistbands/shoulders/etc!! It’s kind of a silly tip but it has been SO helpful since I’ve started doing it :)) Love your videos! Your bright smile and sense of style is always a light ⭐️
Thanks for making my day with this upload!! Since you asked, my purse currently contains my wallet, hand sanitizer, my Loop & Flare earplugs, 3 different fidget toys, lip balm, a tiny plastic duck, approximately three D20 dice, some rocks, a case for my glasses, and a bottle of excedrin... you know, the essentials
It's been a haaaazy week, with all the heat! My special secret is a paper & bamboo fan. I get compliments every time I use it! I need to find a new source, tho, because they do get a bit tattered. I'm currently using a black one. (And! If you are using one and the bottom pin breaks, fix it with thread. I actually look forward to the pin breaking, because the thread on my hand feels nicer than the sometimes pokey pins.)
hi hi!! a couple little things i keep in my bag (which is a medium sized grandma purse that i’m convinced it magic cause of how much it holds) are a little mending kit, a pocket knife, and my favorite…. tiny reusable lint roller. i’ve only used a few times but im so glad i’ve had it!!!
I always keep some hand lotion in my purse because I live in dry as heyell Arizona. I also often have seeds in my purse. Cause I garden and that is what happens when you garden. 😂
Sometimes, I love using scarves (not in silk) as bags. I learned how to knot furoshiki bags and sometimes, when I forget my reusable bag, it's really convenient to have a scarf and use it. If it's really big, it can totally transform into a shoulder bag and if you have a small square one, it can be a cute little handbag.
I don’t drive so I have a different kinda list. I also have a disability with mobility aids so I usually have a small fanny bag. In order of importance: -edibles -snacks -lippie/chapstick -wallet -perfume (to spray inside shirt if certain spots are stinky) -hand sanitizer -jacket around waist -black light -headphones -a collection of random things to keep husband occupied
So I run around with either a purple and green thrifted fanny pack with keys, wallet, phone, iem (a style of usually wired ear buds that do passive noise cancelling nicely) with dongle, some change, some bandages, and I have a water bottle on a strap so I can wear it. Then I have a sightly bigger canvas grey bag that's like a one shoulder backpack. That one I can fit a book for reading or a little sketch book in. And a naloxone kit. And a little snack.
I'm definitely going to be paying attention to your book recommendations! Loved Some Desperate Glory and now have A Psalm for the Wild-Built on hold. Thank-you!! You're so much fun to watch and learn from!
If you're looking for more book recommendations, I think you'd like Finna and Defekt by Nino Cipri. It's about an Ikea type store where the furniture comes alive and random portals to alternate universes open on the store floor.
I love this video! It's always so fun to hear about what other people carry around with them and what that communicates about their lifestyle/interests. One thing I definitely try to make sure I have in my purse is a hand fan! They're cheap and easy to get and usually can slide into a small corner or pocket of a purse. In the intense summer heat we've been experiencing it's good to carry your own source of reprieve 😅
I love the scarf idea. I am *very* stinky so I always carry a little roller ball applicator of the eo perfume I love. I also always have naloxone spray to help others, you never know what the day might hold!
Currently reading This is How You Lose the Time War and am enjoying it so far - the chapters are just like little snapshots of different timelines but the letters (at the end of each chapter - alternating from red/blue - oppostite sides of the war) are the throughline - I am now invested and need to finish. Another short read but it's due back tomorrow so I better get to get to! Hope you enjoy / are enjoying A Psalm for the Wild-Built and would recommend continuing in the series if you have access to the sequel.
I agree about the purse thing. I avoid bringing my purse with me if I can, even though it’s a tiny old Tamrac camera bag. It fits a surprising amount though. In the smaller front pocket, I have lesser used cards and coupons, a dog poop bag, a bandaid, chapstick, and a pocket knife. I have also fit a flashdrive in there. In the larger back pocket, I have a small coin purse with more important cards, my covid vaccine card still for some reason, some cash, a pen, and my phone. My key clip which I keep on the strap has my house keys, car key (I have a 2012 Prius), a whistle, my sunglasses pouch so I always have them as long as I have my keys, a tape measure which I have actually used, and a reuse-able bag that collapses into a pouch which I recently added and forget that it’s there. I also used to have some Loop earplugs but my measuring tape clip is kind of defective and the case fell off somewhere.
I always carry a "mini pharmacy". Pain killers, tums, migraine medication etc. Also always water proof bags! You never know when you'll need to bring home something wet/dirty that you don't want free-floating in your bag. Headphones, always. Small foldable shopping bag. Don't want to spend on plastic bags and create more waste, right? Crossword puzzle+pen. You never know when you might need to wait somewhere and I try to limit my phone use.
I just read Psalm For The Wild Built from my library. I would have been happy for it to be longer, but I really enjoyed the world it created and the inner thoughts of the protagonist. Oh, and all of the robot stuff. I hope you enjoyed it!
Well. I honestly don't carry very much with me tbh. I'm an agoraphobic little hermit who doesn't venture far from home very often. I pretty much just go to my part-time library job, the grocery store, and the Goodwill (which has fitting rooms btw.) All within a couple miles of my apartment. 😬 I take the necessary things like my wallet, phone, glasses, keys. Also Loop ear plugs and my prescription anti-inflammatory/pain med bc the Fibromyalgia do be fibro-ing. I usually bring my water cup in the car, and I have tissues, napkins, and hand sanitizer in the car as well. I don't really need anything else when I'm just 10 minutes from home. In June I took a tiny roadtrip about 125 miles away and stayed overnight in a hotel with friends while at my destination. Now I took way too much with me in that instance, just in case I needed it. Like a week's worth of socks and underwear for some reason. 🤷
Hello, Kindred Spirit! One of my top things to look for when I went to Japan last year? Unofficial K-pop merch! That shirt is everything. My favorite find where cheapo Kleenex holders of Park Jimin and actor Park Seo-joon… AND have we finally found out your SKZ bias? My bias is Han, but currently wrecked by Lee Know and his oddity.
put A Prayer For the Crown Shy (second book to Psalm for the Wild-Built) on hold too! the first one is such a quick read and the two books are basically one split in half -- both are so very good I hope you love them !
I have a smaller bag I put in whatever backpack I'm carrying, in which I put things like whiteboard markers, mints, bandaids, sunscreen, etc. that way, all the little things are contained and I always have whatever one needs
I am reading Lorrie Moore's novel, I Am Homeless If This is Not My Home. I've only ever read Lorrie Moore's short stories-which are funny and sharp-so I'm excited to read one of her novels.
I have one of those tiny tape measures, but its also a fridge magnet - I use it for figuring out if hardware is brass or plate. Also string and a pocket knife. Because you never know.
When it's not a few steps up from Hell's normal temps I wear an old military jacket with approximately a thousand pockets (and yes I will occasionally forget which one has my wallet), but I will still bring a backpack or purse of some sort (I like big books and I cannot lie XD). The oddest thing is possibly a piece of pyrite that has been partially smoothed down into something that would comfortably sit on a tablespoon, but still has the fantastic fractals in its divots. It is an excellent weight and is extremely satisfying to hold. Book, sunglasses (which I should get more of), a spare facemask (whyyy have I not refilled my hand sani?), my phone and wallet are my always companions, though I also have a smol makeup bag that holds: a glass cleaning cloth, small pill case with the usual suspects in case of head/bodyaches, a few hair tying up options (I am so fond of hair spirals), ancient but still effective chapstick and a holey stone. My big keychain SHOULD be with me as it has my Eargasms and a set of headphones in their case as well as my lil tape measure but I frequently forget it XD ETA: I should also have a small makeup bag with art supplies why have I not done that ffs if I can pack my bluetooth speaker shaped like an acorn I can bring a small collection of art supplies
I'm nebby (as they say in Pittsburgh) so I LOVE a what's in my bag video! Also, I have had a crush on your red bag for a while now (I actually thrifted a somewhat similar gray one last year as an homage) so it's good to hear its exotic and mysterious history. M'self, I've always got safety pins. Lots of 'em. Sewing kit, hand cream, handkerchief, pen/pencil, Muji notebook, teeny magnifying glass, teeny playing cards, super teeny colored pencils, lip gloss, cough drops, and tampons just in case a stranger needs one. Oh, and a couple of library cards of course!
I have the DJI pocket 3 and I love it. Definitely get the creator bundle though, it has a lot of great things that come with it including a bigger battery and a little tripod
I carry a lovely fan in the summer, a lipped, phone (my book is on there - currently reading My Heart is a Chainsaw -still waiting for it to catch me - and Grey Dog - lovelovelove ). I have also recently added a small dinosaur fossil that my son gave me because ITS A DINOSAUR!!! 💕
Wallet, art supplies, small sketchbook or two, small scissors, glue stick and/or washi tape, allergy and sinus meds (i snap off a small section from blister packs), pain reliever
I tend to have extra keychains or little trinket gifts from those mini coin machines with the tiny prizes. Currently I have a mini duck in there. A duck for good luck if you will 😊 I also always have a jewelry pouch bc i have sensory issues and sometimes need to take it off but I dont want to lose it; bc im neurodivergent it just makes sense. 😊
Things for the thrifting bag include but are not limited to; a tiny flashlight to peer into the terrifying depths of purses, totes, shoes and other crannies and or nooks as well as various sizes of reusable bags to conceal and transport amazing finds.
I love your little art kit, I need more neocolors!!! One thing I alwayssss have in my bag is a nail file/nail clippers. I fr cannot handle breaking a nail midday and having to deal with that feeling for hours. It's my villain origin story
I carry keys, wallet, chapstick, face wipes because I absolutely hate the feeling of my face being greasy- I whip out those bad boys anytime I have a meal in public or on the go and my boyfriend also loves this, tampons, little sketchbook and pen, usually a little snack as well, and I put a carabiner on my water bottle to hang on my small backpack or pants. Optional extras are headphones (unwieldy bc I don’t use earbuds as they hurt my ears), a book, my pencil case for more options when sketching, and makeup if I’m wearing anything that day in case it melts off me (god bless lip stains). I used to carry little packets of mustard everywhere bc I swear to god no one would ever have mustard and I hate mayonnaise
i'm here for the snooping! extremely seconding the hand sani as well as the theoretical measuring tape lolol. not me personally but a friend carries a blacklight pen light because she likes to thrift for uranium glass also i hope you like the monk & robot books! they're very charming and sweet
My friend always makes fun of me for having at least 5 lip balms, glosses, oils, and or lipsticks in my small bag all at once. They start to get heavy but I need choices, man! Depends on my mood, outfit, and level of chap. 😂 and right now I’m reading A Gentleman in Moscow and enjoying it so much! ❤ your videos, Kathleeny!
i ALWAYS have a small pack of tissues in my bag for the following reasons: if you accidentally choose a stall with no toilet paper, not enough napkins with your takeaway, unexpected allergies etc
Usually about 6 pairs of reading glasses and 2 pairs of sunglasses (everytime I see a pair laying around I think , oh do I have a pair in my bag? I carry a large bag!), small pharmacy for any medical emergency you may have (I'm the prepared one) and usually a pair of running shorts balled up in a small tin in case I have time for a run.
On the topic of tape measures, I recently got a teeny tiny key chain tape measure and it was a game changer for me at the thrift! (Also, enjoy a Psalm for the Wild Built, I’ve read it twice and also cried twice)
Hey friend, nice name;) I love your videos! Been in a funk lately and your videos have been so uplifting and comforting! My purse has my wallet, crème savers, lip gloss, and about 30 loose tums (essentials only). ❤
I started carrying a granola bar or something similar. Sometimes I end up going on an adventure that I didn’t plan on taking as long as planned and I would rather not have to either starve or stop and get something overpriced. Other than that I tend to carry a lot because I really like to be prepared for things like headache, greasy nose, and diarrhea.
psalm for the the wild built is SO good! definitely one of my favorite reads of this year. and the sequel is just as good! i don’t know if you talked about it in another video, but i would love to hear whether you finished it/what you thought of it! :)
my best friend thrifted me a vintage compact for my bday (without any ancient makeup in it) and it's my new fave thing! it's rlly fun to be able to just check i don't have any schmutz on my face without having to open up my phone and get sucked in by the allure of websites and notifications. also it's pretty :^)
Love that we've come full circle from 2015 youtube & What's in my bag videos are back, I might film one myself. Ok, I'm re-reading The Alice Network by Kate Quinn, I'm eating all the gluten free blueberry muffins from Trader Joes, feeling tired, a bit of ennui.
I wish I could simplify my purse. I carry around so much stuff: pocket tissues, power banks, big glasses case for my sunglasses, folding fans for hot flashes, Advil, more pocket tissues. 2 weird things I carry around are a combo lock and a plastic tablespoon. The combo lock is for the gym. I used to go faithfully 5 times a week but I've been slacking a lot lately The tablespoon is for measuring coffee creamer. 5 years ago I got fanatical with counting calories and my coffee drinking and creamer. The first cup 2 tbsp only then the rest of the day I drink it black. But usually only drink coffee at home, however there have been times I needed coffee outside of that. Some convenience store coffee is okay, but I can't drink it black. But if I put too much cream in it, it tastes gross to me. So like the weirdo I am I whip out the red tablespoon when putting cream in coffee at places like 7-11 or Wawa (chain in PA, NJ, MD). I have zero qualms about it. I wipe it dry with a napkin and wash it later 😂
what's in YOUR bag 🧐🧐🧐 (wrong answers only ok right answers are cool too)
I love the mystery bag of holding story. And I adore LeSportSac!

i carry around a little bubble wand and container so i can blow bubble anytime i wanna feel extra whimsical or brighten up my friend’s day
When I worked in childcare, I had one pocket for bubbles and the other for stickers. I suspect it is the trick to making friends of all ages.

@@amydelong7972 gotta have earplugs for every occasion 😆 I'm up to 4 pairs and counting
Slightly adjacent to topic but I always have a towel in the car comes in handy for all shades of situations

I carried a little lace and plastic fan for a long time as a teenager
I wonder if you could replace the paper with a lightweight fabric
Highly recommend a switch to fabric or wooden fans. A friend brought a hand-painted wooden fan for me from her trip to Spain and I LOVE it.
11:55 some desperate glory!!! I love this book!!
hi hi!! a couple little things i keep in my bag (which is a medium sized grandma purse that i’m convinced it magic cause of how much it holds) are a little mending kit, a pocket knife, and my favorite…. tiny reusable lint roller. i’ve only used a few times but im so glad i’ve had it!!!
So happy to see a Kathleen Illustrated video! Thank you!
So happy to see an MLiesel comment!!! 🥹✨
@@KathleenIllustrated Awww, that’s so so nice!
I always like Kathleen’s videos before I watch them

A Psalm for the Wild Built was beautiful! ❤️
Kathleen I’d love a behind-the-scenes video of how you manage a day job and running your channel 🙏
I always keep some hand lotion in my purse because I live in dry as heyell Arizona. I also often have seeds in my purse. Cause I garden and that is what happens when you garden. 😂
My sister is a seed collector as well. Last time she visited she collected a bunch of seeds to take back to her garden.
A Psalm for the Wildbuilt is a gorgeous read!! So compassionate and healing!
In order of importance:
-edibles
-snacks
-lippie/chapstick
-wallet
-perfume (to spray inside shirt if certain spots are stinky)
-hand sanitizer
-jacket around waist
-black light
-headphones
-a collection of random things to keep husband occupied
So I run around with either a purple and green thrifted fanny pack with keys, wallet, phone, iem (a style of usually wired ear buds that do passive noise cancelling nicely) with dongle, some change, some bandages, and I have a water bottle on a strap so I can wear it.
Then I have a sightly bigger canvas grey bag that's like a one shoulder backpack. That one I can fit a book for reading or a little sketch book in. And a naloxone kit. And a little snack.
Thanks for the tip about Col-erase pencils! You solved a problem for me that may or may not be related to painting on thrifted wooden signs…
I love nosey videos!!!! And also Ive required my (now) teen to carry her own things since she was 11 years old, I'm not a porter!
haha yes!! 😤
If my husband or son ask me to carry something in my purse for them, I make them carry my purse. 😀
I'm definitely going to be paying attention to your book recommendations! Loved Some Desperate Glory and now have A Psalm for the Wild-Built on hold. Thank-you!! You're so much fun to watch and learn from!
Excited to have a new Kathleen Illustrated video to watch while doing my War of the Worlds/Invasion Literature homework!!
I love that your little mic puff in your pocked looks like the center of a flower ☺️
I get so stressed out when you walk away from your camera in the store, so I’m glad to know it’s small and easy to miss.
Yes on the bandana/ scarf! I get migraines and sometimes I just need all the light to go away
LOL Lee know and I have almost the exact same star chart! 🐇 (but honestly I’m the opposite & have been bias wrecked by Quokka 😎✌🏼)
Glossier Zip is exactly what I also have in my bag so I'm so stoked on the cheaper rec!!
put A Prayer For the Crown Shy (second book to Psalm for the Wild-Built) on hold too! the first one is such a quick read and the two books are basically one split in half -- both are so very good I hope you love them !
I feel you about taking paper, writing goodies, and a book EVERYWHERE I go...been doing that since I was a wee kiddo!! Priorities, yo!
My big keychain SHOULD be with me as it has my Eargasms and a set of headphones in their case as well as my lil tape measure but I frequently forget it XD
ETA: I should also have a small makeup bag with art supplies why have I not done that ffs if I can pack my bluetooth speaker shaped like an acorn I can bring a small collection of art supplies
Good morning, Kathleen!. I'm a fellow Ohioan, and my name is Kathryn! I love your channel! Keep up the great work! You inspire me!
I have a mini blacklight, wet wipes and a small scissors in my thrift bag as well.
lmao same on the measuring tape. I always try to have it on me because I need some specific photo frame sizes... but I never remember that sucker
I am humble vessel for thrift gods 🤣🤣🤣🤣 one phrase worth million likes ❤️
Adds, I have purse, to the Kathleen bingo board … love the film set up in this bad boy!
Measuring tape! Good for measuring potential thrifts for clothes and homegoods.
Wallet, art supplies, small sketchbook or two, small scissors, glue stick and/or washi tape, allergy and sinus meds (i snap off a small section from blister packs), pain reliever
omgomgomg I’ve been waiting for a new Kathleen videoooo!! also I love your shirt! so cool! 💗💗
thank you fraaaaand! 🌸🌺🌷
I tend to have extra keychains or little trinket gifts from those mini coin machines with the tiny prizes. Currently I have a mini duck in there. A duck for good luck if you will 😊
I also always have a jewelry pouch bc i have sensory issues and sometimes need to take it off but I dont want to lose it; bc im neurodivergent it just makes sense. 😊
It's always interesting to see the behind the scenes
Things for the thrifting bag include but are not limited to; a tiny flashlight to peer into the terrifying depths of purses, totes, shoes and other crannies and or nooks as well as various sizes of reusable bags to conceal and transport amazing finds.
Yeaaasssss! I would love an Inter-dimensional tote bag find!! I’m a “bag lady” and a thrift find is like a hidden treasure …luv it! 🥰
that exact gum flavor in a serving size of 2 always is also my go to hey twin
I love your little art kit, I need more neocolors!!! One thing I alwayssss have in my bag is a nail file/nail clippers. I fr cannot handle breaking a nail midday and having to deal with that feeling for hours. It's my villain origin story
This video was fun. I absolutely am inspired by your creative spirit. ❤
Totally pumped to see this old school video from you!!! ❤❤❤
I used to carry little packets of mustard everywhere bc I swear to god no one would ever have mustard and I hate mayonnaise
i'm here for the snooping! extremely seconding the hand sani as well as the theoretical measuring tape lolol. not me personally but a friend carries a blacklight pen light because she likes to thrift for uranium glass
also i hope you like the monk & robot books! they're very charming and sweet
is this...a hidden washi tape reveal?? 👀👀👀
I hope so :D
Weird 👀
My friend always makes fun of me for having at least 5 lip balms, glosses, oils, and or lipsticks in my small bag all at once. They start to get heavy but I need choices, man! Depends on my mood, outfit, and level of chap. 😂 and right now I’m reading A Gentleman in Moscow and enjoying it so much! ❤ your videos, Kathleeny!
I love this video, because I carry way too much stuff and I'd like to carry less! Also nice chatty with you.
i ALWAYS have a small pack of tissues in my bag for the following reasons: if you accidentally choose a stall with no toilet paper, not enough napkins with your takeaway, unexpected allergies etc
Bandaids. I am the friend with the bandaids!
Psalm for the Wild Built is so special😭🧡
Hey friend, nice name;) I love your videos! Been in a funk lately and your videos have been so uplifting and comforting! My purse has my wallet, crème savers, lip gloss, and about 30 loose tums (essentials only). ❤
I started carrying a granola bar or something similar. Sometimes I end up going on an adventure that I didn’t plan on taking as long as planned and I would rather not have to either starve or stop and get something overpriced. Other than that I tend to carry a lot because I really like to be prepared for things like headache, greasy nose, and diarrhea.
I just finished a Psalm for the Wild Built! Pallette is cleansed. It was different than what I thought it was going to be, but good.
psalm for the the wild built is SO good! definitely one of my favorite reads of this year. and the sequel is just as good! i don’t know if you talked about it in another video, but i would love to hear whether you finished it/what you thought of it! :)
I just got the DJI pocket 3 & I love it!! Def treat yo self!
my best friend thrifted me a vintage compact for my bday (without any ancient makeup in it) and it's my new fave thing! it's rlly fun to be able to just check i don't have any schmutz on my face without having to open up my phone and get sucked in by the allure of websites and notifications. also it's pretty :^)
this video was like chicken noodle soup for my brain which is much needed after a long week of long days :)
I used to go faithfully 5 times a week but I've been slacking a lot lately
The tablespoon is for measuring coffee creamer.
