Higher contrast maybe... Sharper? I don't know about that. At least not from a hardware level at a comfortable viewing distance.
Some manufacturers however, do add more sharpening in their image processor than others.

Saw one next to a 900c and it had bad off angle viewing. The 900c was amazing. Very disappointing. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
perhaps it might have been the 800b that was va ...newer one is ips ... perhaps... still 900c has different panel
You may be able to impress Samsung LCD tv to some people in a very brightly lit showroom, but it will comprise in your home environment. Whatever high contrast ratio, its still a LCD technology. So that's nonsense review. LG OLED is currently still the best.
I'm sorry, but I simply disagree.
LCD while being older tech, is still the preferred choice for a lot of professional applications, including color grading for film and TV content production, especially for HDR content.
OLED, while having the ability to display true blacks, is unable to go bright enough to be viewed in normal living room conditions in a home without you turning off your lights and shutting your blinds.
Granted, there's the new QD-OLED out now that can go up to 2,000nits which is great! But still, they have not fixed Burn-in issues.
So, unless you're at least a little tech savvy and now how to avoid burn-in or have a living room that is mainly designed for TV viewing, I'd still recommend QLED.
That's your opinion. Sad.
