    This will be cool with white yarn or string and then you can hang photos or something on them from your ceiling or across a wall!

    love this , what's the science behind why the water becomes equal in all the cups though?

      The capillary action of the water pushes it from high pressure (the filled cups) to low pressure (the empty cups). This force persists as long as there is a difference in height between the water levels of the cups. It stops once all cups are equal.

    How ,much color of each, is needed? We tried it...but the green, purple and orange didn't come out well. Wonder, if the yellow overwhelmed the Red (for orange), and the Blue overwhelmed the yellow (for green) and purple (for red)?

    Just a suggestion but shouldn't you make it into something like a circle and add the paper towels so you don't have to waste a cup of red

      The wet paper napkin get to wet and the water soaks inside the napkin so it goes into the other cup
