Bill Walton was a great man. I never once met the man but he sure sounded like a friend everytime I heard him speak with that huge smile, and I'm still sad he is gone. I never got into the Dead but I'm starting to and I'm 53! Thanks Bill

I just cried again for Jerry while I am jamming to this video. It's been years since I cried over Jer... 😅 He changed everything for me and the way think. Every time that I saw him live, I could change who I was and become a new person. But this solo got me for sure. ❤😊 Thank you for sharing this!

I was at this show, with out doubt the best Jerry show I had ever been to .. . in spite of all the adversity I faced that night... The music was magical.. Kept me on the bright side of the road! God Bless Ya Jerry... See ya in Heaven!!(if your not to busy)
Kemp Blair I was at this show also⚡️I was enlisted in the military at the time. It was truly magical, the set list was phenomenal, both sets. My favorite Jerry ⚡️Show no doubt. He was happy, he played the best rare cover tracks along with the originals I love. Waiting for a miracle being one. Bruce Hornsby was an amazing gift to this show as well

Wow, Jerry was 70 years old in 1985, but was only in his 50’s in 1987. Whatever unhealthy shit he did, he gave the world a vast ocean of amazing solos. I love Ruben, Cherish, Gomorrah, Midnite Moonlite, Run for the Roses. Sometimes when just covering some Dylan tune in 1982 at some East Coast liberal arts college, he’d blow your mind

Thanks for sharing this, I have to say it is difficult to see Jerry frustrated. " Help me sing my song"...is blown off completely. I miss Jerry's joy and authenticity to the bone... What I see here is the disappointments in the folks around him riding on the bus-es and doing another show.
